3646 Yaniv

"It is time," I said as I opened my eyes and got out of the couch, before walking out of the room.

A minute later, I appeared in the large hall with the disc and waited for my number. I didn't have to wait for long. Two and a half minutes later, I was on the disk, and I was not alone.

There were seven more people who were looking at me as I was looking at them. I am not surprised by their presence; I have been informed that I wouldn't be going alone there.

Buzz!

We only had a second to look at each other, before the disk buzzed and everything darkened in front of us.

It remained dark for a two and half seconds before we saw the lights again.

"Welcome to Yaniv, ladies and gentlemen," said a stone-skinned man with a pearly white stone-skin. He is a handsome man who looks to be in his mid-thirties and Peak Earth-Sovereigns like everyone is showing.

"Thank you, for the welcome, Jour," said the human woman in our group. "Let's go, Sky Sovereign Moraz is waiting for you all," he said and took us out of the hall, which had formations powerful enough that they could take out, even Sky Sovereign.

Soon, we entered the walkway, seeing the building, or rather a grand palace. It is also a beautiful one, with artistically carved columns on the archways, with the frescos drawn on the walls and ceiling.

"It is a beautiful palace," said the black wolf Beastman. "You haven't seen the real thing, yet," said the stone skin man.

He was right, a minute later, we were to begin to see the real beauty of the palace and it was mesmerizing.

I have seen many things and very few could impress me, but this one did. If I had a chance to get a single suit, in a palatial building like this on flying island, I might have thought about it.

Knock Knock!

Soon, we appeared in front of the huge blue wooden doors, carved exquisitely, and the stone man knocked on it.

"You all can go inside," said stone skin man as the door began to open.

The moment we stepped inside, we saw the large office, with a beautiful view of the city. However, I only glanced at that before focusing on the old man sitting in front of the big table.

The old man in front of us is a seven and half feet tall. He is muscular, with four arms and thick legs. His face looked human, except for the long ears, which go above his head.

He also had black lines tattooed across his skin; they made him look quite intimidating. He didn't need that to look intimidating. His power alone is enough for that. He had kept it sealed, but I could feel he was extremely powerful. Even Sky Sovereign Orina wouldn't be able to last longer in front of him.

"Sky Sovereigns, Moraz," I greeted the old man with the rest. The old man smiled, and all threateningness seemed to vaporize off him.

"I always like, it when the organizations send me new seeds. You all look good, brimming with potential," he said, looking at me with a smile.

He is also using a very powerful ocular method for us. It was so silent that I was barely able to detect it and was glad that I had made those extra preparations.

"Thank you, Sky Sovereigns," I replied, with others.

"I am sure you have already been informed about this, but this is not a mission, but administrative training, that organizations give to its brightest," he informed.

"Sky Sovereigns; I don't want to do the boring administrative training. I am more than willing to join the rangers and deal with any threat at our borders," said the woman, before I could.

I wanted to curse hearing that. I planned to wait till he finished, but the girl didn't even have that patience.

"Unfortunately, that is not going to happen, young lady. This is administrative training, and it will be just that. Any of you, wouldn't raise the arms unless the city is in danger," he said and the expressions of several turned worse.

"Don't be dejected. You might think the organization sent you here when you should focus on your growth, but let me tell you. The break is just as important as missions."

"You might not believe me; many who came ended up making more here, than they would have in the same period, during the missions." "Really?" asked the man, with the big white gem on his temple. "If you do not believe me, you can ask your predecessors," said the old man.

Some nodded, with a slightly better mood, while others still looked dejected.

"There are forty-eight boroughs in the city. Each of you will be responsible for one; your predecessors will guide you for the ten days, before handing over the command to you," "This may be a training, but consider it as a mission. If you didn't do well in it, many of the privileges would be suspended," he said, and a projection appeared in front of him.

It is a scale of performance and seeing it, even my expressions changed.

Doing bad will have a repercussion, bad repercussions. I depend heavily on some of those privileges, and wouldn't like it. If they get suspended even for a month and here, they are threatening to do it for a year or more.

"So, do well as I will be watching you all carefully," he said and smiled devilishly, which raised all the hair on my body.

A few minutes later, we got out and there were eight people waiting for us. The people, whose position, we will be filling.

"Smith?" asked a Middle-aged bony man with a bone horn and I nodded. "Aymn, it is nice to meet you," I greeted. "Nice to meet you, too," he replied and led me away.

"As the Governor, had explained to you; I will guide you for the ten days before handing over the responsibilities," he said.

"You seemed a little sad about that?" I asked, seeing his expression. "I initially hated this training, but it proved more worthwhile than I had expected," he replied.

Soon, we walked out of the building and took the air, and I was able to see the city.

It is huge; it is the second biggest city; I have ever seen. The first one is, that is below the island; it is truly huge. Alas, I hadn't stepped into it, even a year after entering the organization.

"You will be responsible for is a Heinass borough; it is a famous art district. You will find quite talented people there," he informed. "At least, it wouldn't be boring for a while," I said, and he shook his head.

"You might not believe me, even I wouldn't have believed it myself three years ago, but it is not a boring job," "You will find, with your practice and responsibilities, there is no time to feel bored,"

"To be honest, I didn't want to leave and would have stayed for a year more if I could," he said, looking down at the city longingly.

A few minutes later, we landed on the ground of the manor. The place, which is going to be my home for at least a year.
