Thud!

I fell down on the other side, where hundreds of people had already gathered.

I was swiftly moved by the spire two people gathered, and two more came out from behind before the screen on the formation flickered and turned off.

"84%. That would be enough," said Spire Caldir. The shark beastman.

The last attack really seemed to have worked as it took out the teleportation. The shield had not only been protecting the fortress but also keeping the space stable inside.

Once it was broken, the changes would have occurred in space. Which is bad for teleportation.

"Follow me," he ordered and walked toward the familiar stone circle.

"What is happening, Spire? Why have you brought us all here together?" asked a green-haired human woman.

I thought he would bark in angry or even attack, but he didn't do any of that sort.

He didn't even turn.

"You will know soon enough," he replied. Some people turned to other spires, but they remained quiet.

I am not quite. I am cursing loudly internally.

I had tried hard to get away, but couldn't. That mark was too powerful. Now, it had disappeared, but I am in the presence of the spires.

As I looked at them, I felt a chill running down my spine.

They are Sky Sovereigns. Their aura is strong, the strongest of all Sky Sovereigns, but nothing compared to shamans, who had the power to fight the Primes.

If I go by the aura, then I have confidence in killing them all, even, if all of them came at me together.

Despite that, I shake whenever I think about fighting them.

There is something really wrong with them and I thinking, might be related to the mist.

Hun!

I was in my thoughts when I saw tens of Peak Sky Sovereigns aura's exploding.

"Die!" screamed, a copper-skinned woman, and the group of twenty-seven Peak Sky-Sovereigns attacked the spires.

I couldn't help, but get surprised.

I had my seed in more than half of them and they are pretty loyal to the Avros, but now, they have attacked the spires.

It seemed like, they had felt the danger and decided to act.

I too prepared myself, seeing them. If their attacks did the damage; I will act. I could produce, more than all of them combined.

I watched the spires, and a surprise appeared on faces before they turned to smiles full of mirth.

The Shark-Beastman spire waved his hand, creating a wave of water. Seeing that, my eyes could not help but widen, and it also shocked attacking and everyone watching.

The attack has the power of Prime so that everyone can sense

However, I noticed the other thing immediately.

This time isn't as deeply embedded into them as I felt with Prime Aevith or Volsnorth. Even the Primes earlier, had better synergy with their power, than the Shark-Beastman.

It's clear that he didn't get in the power the conventional way.

Bang Bang Bang

The waves hit them and flung them hard on the ground. Breaking their bones and skin, but not doing any deeper damage.

"Listen, you ungrateful bastards. If you try something like this again, I will give you such pain that you will regret being ever born," he said, before starting to walk away.

I am really glad, that I had listened to my instincts and didn't try to seed them.

If I had, these bastards would have easily discovered them.

I don't think my seeds are good enough to escape the notice of the Prime; even the Primes, that didn't advance through conventional means.

'Seed them,'

I was praising myself for listening to my instinct, when the sound, I had not listened to for a year rang out in my mind.

I felt anger blazing through my heart before I controlled it.

I have been trying to contact it thousands of times, but there was never a reply. The being only talks to me, when it suits their need.

I want to so say fuck off to their words, but hundreds of seeds came out of me.

Getting angry at the beings isn't wise. They are the only ones, who could save my life here; I need to listen to them, despite the emotions, I am feeling.

Soon, all the ones who weren't seeded got seeded.

The only ones, I didn't seed are the spires.

I waited for a few seconds, but no sound came from the being. Which means, I am right in my decision to seed them.

We reached the stones, and they turned misty, before disappearing, giving us a clear way to the inner circle.

It had surprised me a little; I had thought they were real stones, but to my surprise. They were the creation of mist and now turned to mist.

I tried to sense the one who was controlling them but didn't get anything.

Either it had reacted by the presence of us, or it was high enough level, that I couldn't sense it with my abilities. I am betting on the latter.

Till now, I have found no concrete proof that there is it, here. If I had, the organization would have come, long before.

I might not have the proof, but I am extremely sure, that there is 'it' involved.

The stones of the inner circle had turned to the mist, and we had reached the central circle.

My heartbeat quickened with every step we took toward the last circle of stones.

I am sure, whatever it is. It is behind that circle, and I am scared. In front of it, I am nothing; it could kill me, just looking at me.

Soon, we reached the stones of the final circle, and they turned into the mist.

Hun!

To my surprise, behind it is a dense mist.

The spires are gathered in that mist; all of them. Some looked ahead, and I followed their gaze.

At first, I had seen nothing, but a faint silhouette came into the view, which had a familiar shape.

Egg?
