chapter-3958
Aevith
'Found it!'
I heard in my mind and moved quickly. Appearing beside Prime Iloh within seconds.
"I am not sensing anything," said Lord Charleston of Belword. Even Lady Ulys of Alkaz has a frown on her face.
I didn't even try to sense it.Since two Silver Primes didn't sense, there is no way, that I will be able to sense it.
I am not surprised, that Lord Iloh, had sensed it, but the other two didn't. Prime Iloh is a rare soul practitioner; his sensory powers are above that of people of the same level.
"Look at seventeen-thousands, three hundred and forty-two meters deep," he said.
The Silver Prime sent their soul sense down. Even I had sent mine down along with the other Primes.
I reached it, but found nothing in there, like the last time, when I had reached through the space.
"Bastards!" cursed the Lady Ulys after several seconds.
"A compacted realm, one with the ability to hide so well," said Lord Charleston with surprise and a hint of greed in his eyes, which he made no effort to control. It didn't shock me. I had expected it.
Micheal had described the size of the space. I would have been able to discover it if there was a big thing.
"Lady Ulys, please," said Lord Iloh, and the elf woman nodded.
A moment later, I felt the power of laws and saw a massive hole appearing below us, which started to get deeper rapidly.
It felt like the earth had no resistance to her power.
It didn't.
The power of laws has absolute dominance over their element. Lady Ulys is an earth law practitioner.
I could see the envy in the eyes of Primes. There same emotion is flashing into my eyes.
Prime practice the laws; it had been over a century since I had broken through into the Prime and I could say to be advanced fast, but despite that, I have not comprehended any laws.
I could feel the laws of my element, but there is that thin film between us that stopping me from comprehending them.
There are extremely few Primes, that could breach that film and comprehend the law while still being Prime.
The faintest hint of comprehension increases the power of the Prime tremendously. Most importantly, it gave them guaranteed entry into the Silver Prime.
Nearly all those comprehend the law, while a Prime, becomes a Silver Prime.
I heard Lord Iloh had been one of them.
"So, this is it," said Lord Charleston. Bringing me back to the real world from my thoughts.
Lady Ulys had stopped, revealing what looked like an egg.
It is small, the size of a hand, with green scales covering it.
I scanned it with my soul sense, but found it in there; it was like it didn't exist at all.
"It seemed like, it's my turn now," said Lord Charleston with a laugh and flew toward the egg.
Nobody stopped him, despite seeing clear greed in his eyes.
The man moved toward it, while the power of the laws covered him. He might seem boisterous, but he isn't taking any risks about his safety.
He stopped a meter away from the eggs and started to look at it carefully, before activating investigative methods.
He looked at it for over a minute, before started taking out things.
Artifacts of different types and shapes. Of which I had only recognized one.
The device calculates the spatial power.
He placed those artifacts carefully around the eggs, not touching them.
A screen appeared in front of him, and he tapped on it. I couldn't see what he was seeing and didn't try to use the methods.
If he wanted to let us, Primes see, he wouldn't have hidden it from our eyes.
A few minutes a shock appeared in his eyes, and he rapidly tapped on the screens, before turning to two Silver Primes.
"This is a made sheerly through power, instead of being forged," he informed.
"It seemed like, your member may be right about this being foreign," said Lady Ulys.
"Will we be able to handle it?" asked Lord Iloh. "We might, but it's best, that we inform the higher-ups," he replied, with his face serious.
The primes nodded, and I could see them sending the messages through their badge.
"Should I begin then?" he asked, and two Silver Primes nodded.
"Be careful, our members are there," cautioned Lady Ulys. The man didn't say anything to that and took out more tools.
He places them around the, with a black disk right on top of it. Less than a centimeter away from the egg.
What he is planning to do is simple, but risky.
He is going to nudge the eggs to bring the people out. The nudges will get heavier, till they become shocked and start to damage, the space inside.
It might kill our people, but that accepted risk, when foreign entities are involved.
The risk, they present is too big, that they would sacrifice a seed.
I wanted to stop, seeing we might end up killing the person, who had provided us an information to find this thing, but I knew it would be futile.
These Silver Primes are just following the established protocol.
Buzz!
The dusk buzzed a few seconds later and a black light released from it and covered the egg.
As it did, I felt its power increase.
The increase is steady every second. The enemies will need to come out or the disk will destroy the egg.
I wonder how long they will take to come out or come out at all.
I had just thought, that when I sensed something, and a moment later, the figures appeared out of the egg.
There were thirteen people that had come, but my eyes fell on the one leading.
It was not a person at all, and its aura felt so foreign that every part of me wanted to destroy it. Wipe it away from the face of the world.
Some primes had even taken a step forward before they stopped themselves.
