"Thank you," I said to him while walking toward them.

As I did that, the weapons and my armor changed with every step, I took toward them.

Their eyes become serious seeing that, while smiles remain on their faces. They are a threat to me since they all want the top prize.

I am in their way of gaining that, despite saying, I have no interest.

This further escalated after we killed the Kraken.

I looked at my score and theirs; the only thing I would say, they could only match my score. If they kill or make at least three among them, leave.

They will be unlikely to take action now.

Seeing another Kraken might turn up and they don't want my enemy at such a time.

They would want to focus on dealing with construct rather than constantly look at their back for my attack.

Especially when I showed that I could launch a medium-range attack by shooting my lance. It's why some of them became cautious as I crossed half of the distance between us. Though, they might not weigh, seeing there is only. One hour and forty-five minutes had remained before the challenge ended and they lost the chance to kill me.

So, I need to be prepared.

There was barely a hundred meters' distance between us when the transformation was over. The armor looked nearly the same except for small changes like a 26% reduction in the size of my shoes, with some suction cup-like things appearing on my armor.

The biggest changes are weapons.

The lance had disappeared, and I didn't summon my old saber and shield. Instead, there are two weapons in my hands.

Two identical straight swords.

A minute later, I stopped when I was twenty meters away from the person closest to me.

It is the distance everyone is maintaining with each other. They are cautious against me, but also against each other, especially Hayat and Iarys, who are hosts of celestial inheritance. "Anyone think another Kraken or construct would come in this hour?" I asked.

"It's hard to say. If it were to come, it might come when the clock hit twenty or thirty minutes," replied Hayat.

"Good, we should rest in the time we have," I replied, but nobody moved from their spot, including me.

Nobody wants to tit down or walk away. That will be like showing a weakness and making others target you.

I looked at them and a moment later. Four thin tubes with tri-legs came out of my ass and reached the ground, while changes appeared around my ass.

Four seconds later, I raised my legs up and didn't fall down as I was sitting on the stool.

I am tired, but they looked more than I am. They are trying to hide it, but it can be seen in their eyes. The Kraken wasn't an easy opponent.

It had tired everyone out, despite us killing it in a short time.

They looked at me, for more than a minute before Hayat sighed and legged tubes similar to mine came out of her back and formed a stool under her.

"I need rest," said Iarys a moment later, and a stool formed behind him.

One by one, everyone created a stool except for Aros and Anna. They took a minute more, before finally caving under the pressure and creating a stool.

It's better than a chair sitting on the ground.

Through this, they could easily react to any attack that might come at them.

"For the air jets. You have created an air compression motor, right?" asked Iarys suddenly, with everyone's ears twitching to listen.

"Yes," I replied simply.

"How many have created in your shoes? Is it one? Or multiple smaller ones?" he asked.

I didn't reply to that. The only thing I did was to smile.

"It must be me challenging. Especially the lance; the speed it could move through was amazing. Motors needed to be really good and take a lot of space.

"So, the lance wouldn't have force conversion motors. It must be through the armor, right?" The asked. I didn't reply, other than smiling.

I am not surprised. I know he is the host of celestial inheritance.

Understanding such things is easy for him.

I wanted to ask about their armor and abilities, too, but I barely saw them fighting. I was so focused, that I didn't notice at all.

I hope they didn't change much from the previous challenge, or I might pay a price when we start fighting.

It is going to happen. I could see in their eyes they wanted to finish me.

Soon, the twenty minutes passed, and there was no sound of the door opening. Still, I could see everyone turning alert, with most of their focus on me.

"What are you all doing? Fight!" someone shouted from the stands.

Nobody looked at them. I heard them shouting during the challenges, but I had barely focused on them.

All my focus is on the opponents in front of me.

Minutes passed and soon half an hour was over. All eyes turned the gate for a few seconds, before turning back to me and each other.

"I think, we should fight him. Make him give up, before fighting among ourselves for the top sport," said Aros finally.

He stooks, with tubes coming back to everybody, including me.

"I agree," said Hayat, turning to me.

I am shocked or even surprised, hearing him say that. Instead, I smiled and turned to Anna.

"Old friend, do you mind, handing the other two? I will deal with our former teammates," I

said to her.

"Do I know you? And besides, why would I help you? It is my benefit, that you get

eliminated?" she asked.

"There are several reasons. The first is that you are my friend."

"The second, they will turn to you, after they are done with me, and third, I already told you, I

have no interest in the first prize," I replied.

"I am not naïve enough to believe those words." she shot back, and I sighed.

"I thought you would believe the person, that saved you from that coffin," I said while dramatically putting my hand on my heart, with hurt appearing on my face.

She was shocked.
