Four days have passed since the last mission. I am quite surprised that no other mission has come our way, which is why the seven rank jump we have received in our ranking is slowly going down with the day.

Four days ago, after our big Mission, our team's Rank had climbed up to the 70th from 77th, but now it is 72nd, I had just received notification about it. It is a team that was at the 74th had just completed the mission and took the jump of the two ranks.

I daily checked my holowatch for my team's rank after I woke; the rank is very important.

Not only it shows the strength of the team, but it also gives a lot of advantages. Currently, we dont many advantages, but we can reach in the top 60. We will be able to train in the State of the Art training facility. This is where the Elite Corps train.

But it is very hard to get into Top 60. All the teams are crazy powerful with the crazy amount of points. Crossing, to get there, we will have to do an insane amount of dangerous missions.

As for getting into Top 50, which is even harder, there are only three spaces, sorry two spaces now as yesterday another team had become an Elite+ team. There are only two spaces, and for them, the competition is very tough.

Compared to teams in Top 50 and Top 60, our teams are quiet, especially now with missions harder and harder, people are getting stronger, though the fatality rate also reached sky-high.

To higher-ups, this exchange seems to be worth it as they are getting more and more powerhouses, and that is most important right now when the balance of two races has become very fragile.

There seems to be a shadow of a huge War looming over Grimm Battlefield, it is not me that is sensing it but all the people, this is the most trending topic in most forums right now.

It is said that within a year or two, the War will commence and the War will happen not only because of the rising tension between two races but also because it is time, it has been more than Century since the continent experienced any big war and it will happen.

It is like nature taking its course, and every century there is a big war, and it's time the Continent experiences the big war.

Many people are excited with the prospect of War, wanting to drive out the Grimm Monsters off the continent, not to forget the gravity of doing that, the loss of life we will face would be immense and we will need decades to recover from it.

"Tring Tring…"

I was busy with grey thoughts when my holowatch rang, and I immediately knew what this was about. It is a message from Stephan, saying to come to the Guild as the new mission has come.

Seeing that I became excited, in the past four days, I drank all the potions I could and trained as much as I could, and now I need a mission, only through the mission would I be able to stimulate my growth.

Thud!

So, I happily changed before I floated down with me through my Apartment window. I landed on the ground and walked toward the hover car that is already waiting for me.

Soon I reached the Guild and walked toward the wing that is assigned to the Death Brigade.

"Knock Knock!"

"Come in."

I knocked on the door as I reached the room that is assigned to our team and walked in when I heard Stephans voice. When I entered, I saw only Stephan sitting on the head chair while other chairs were empty.

This is surprising as many people live closer to the Guild than me and when I looked at Stephan, he looked to be in a quite bad mood. The mission must be really bad for his mission to turn out like this.

"Team Leader," I said. I took my usual chair by the end, most of the people in our team followed the power hierarchy, but I am one of the few people who did not.

It is not that I don't want to follow the rule or anything, it's just that beside me sat Tom, and since we have become friends, I like to sit next to him.

"Call me Stephen, team leader feels weird," Stephen said with a small smile before his expression turned angry again. "Here, take a look at the Mission." He said, and he projected Mission Order in the center of the table.

I was quite confused when Stephan projected the Mission Order alone for me, as this thing happened when all the members of the team had arrived, but when I read the order, I understood why he showed me Mission Order alone as it is a lone mission with only my name typed on it.

When I read the mission details, my expressions couldn't help but a change and look of anger also appeared on my face.

"Are they trying to kill me?" I asked, the mission is not of fighting but that of intel collecting. It is a month-long mission to collect intelligence on the Four Stations, yes station, not a camp.

A Station always has at least five Platinum guarding it, and they are sending me there to collect intelligence, and the worst thing is, I did not get any info about these Stations except for their locations.

I did not know how big they are, what kind of traps and camouflage they have, and what kind of pattern their patrols follow, this information I should have, but they are sending me to collect it.

"This is Mission of the Platinum Elite, but they are sending you a Golden Elite who is not even Nine Star Golden Elite much less above that," Stephen said angrily.

He is right, the Platinum Elites always collect the intelligence on The Station, sending a Golden Elite there is simply unheard of and sending one there would be signing like signing off a death warrant on one.

"I have contacted a lot of people, even asked Regina to contact the Vice Guild Leader she knows, but everyone said this order came from above, and they could do nothing about it," Stephen said as he looked at me.

His expressions are very clear, he is asking me if I know something above it, and being honest, I have a faint idea about it. The Guild's rules are very impartial, and it usually acted with the rule.

The only time it bends the rule when someone powerful is involved, and I have a guess who might be behind such a dangerous mission order.

I smiled at Stephan's askance expression before I opened the map of the four stations. These four stations are quite far from each other, so I will have to travel through the airship, it's no wonder it is a one month's mission.

As I was looking at these stations, I noticed something when I magnified the area around Station No 3 and that is when I saw the region it is in, I couldn't help but feel ecstatic.
