Mr Fu, I Really Love You

chapter-684
684 I’ll Fight It Out With You!
“Manman!” Su Manman’s mother yanked Su Manman’s arm forcefully. “What are you doing?”
Fu Cheng was shocked. Instinctively, he wanted to rush over and catch Mingming, but he simply couldn’t get there in time. He could only watch as Fu Mingming was kicked.
Several of the elders were howling Su Manman’s name. No one had expected that Su Manman would get physical with a child.
However, for a child to suddenly say something like that, none of the elders would believe the child conjured it up all by himself! A child was like a piece of white paper… where could they learn such vicious words if no one had taught them this!Never mind the rest, Old Madam Fu was as smart as a whip!
Old Madam Fu’s heart trembled a little. If she hadn’t seen Fu Cheng’s ambition previously, after hearing his little son say these words, she understood it all now!
All these years, how could Fu Cheng not bear hatred in his heart?
Come to think of it, Old Madam Fu’s current circumstances were similar to Fu Cheng’s position back then…
Once upon a time, even if Fu Cheng wasn’t a biological son of the Fus, he was the sole successor of the Fu family. When Fu Huai’an suddenly appeared out of nowhere, the Fus abandoned Fu Cheng without hesitation, choosing to let the biologically related Fu Huai’an inherit the Kaide Corporation!
Now, Old Madam Fu had previously also thought that the Kaide Corporation would be handed to Fu Huai’an, who was biologically related to her. Unexpectedly, Fu Qingquan suddenly came up with an illegitimate son out of nowhere and said that he wanted to hand the Kaide Corporation to that illegitimate son who had no blood ties with her!
Even an old woman like Old Madam Fu, who had half a foot in the grave, couldn’t take it lying down, much less Fu Cheng, who was still young!Old Madam Fu suddenly felt goosebumps rise all over her body. She understood everything now…
Fu Mingming, who had collapsed to the ground, was helped up by Fu Cheng. He bawled in an instant. “Waa… Papa… Mama…”
Ye Ziqi’s eyes reddened. “Fu Manman! I’ll fight it out with you!”
How could the Fus’ servants stand by and watch Ye Ziqi harm Su Manman? They quickly pulled Ye Ziqi back and urged her, “Young Mistress! Please calm down! Take a look at Young Master’s condition first!”
Ye Ziqi knew that she was in the Fus’ territory, and she’d suffer a disadvantage if she were to confront Su Manman directly. So, she glared at Su Manman ferociously before running over to her son. She lifted him up, and tears ran down her cheeks.
“Mingming… Mingming, how are you feeling?” Ye Ziqi ran over and caressed her son, sizing him up, fearing he had suffered injuries from the kick.
Fu Xinxin ran to her younger brother and knelt down by his side, then started bawling too.
“What kind of mother gives birth to that kind of child! What kind of family brings up that kind of child! These two kids are habitual liars and have vicious hearts. I wonder who they take after between the two of you! Now I know, this is how a cancerous tumor to society comes to be!”
Su Manman spoke her mind freely. As she spoke, her beautiful and alluring eyes deliberately swept over Fu Cheng—her implied meaning clear.
Fu Cheng looked up. Although he managed to conceal his hatred well, his gaze was so cold it made one shiver.
Su Manman wasn’t afraid at all. She looked into Fu Cheng’s eyes, her disdain evident. She was looking at Fu Cheng as if she was looking at garbage.
Fu Cheng’s fists tightened…
It was this look in her eyes!
Ever since he entered the Fu family, the Fu children had been shooting Fu Cheng a look like this. Fu Cheng really, really loathed this gaze. He hated the way they acted all high-and-mighty, looking at him as if they were looking at a filthy object.
…
Chu Xun originally wanted to go upstairs and look for a suitable excuse to enter the study, wanting to try and stop Fu Huai’an from going down before things were settled back there. But before she could walk to the door of the study, she saw Fu Huai’an and Fu Qingquan come out of the study one after the other.
Chu Xun’s expression changed as she went up to them. “Grandpa Fu, Huai’an…”
Fu Huai’an’s gaze swept over Chu Xun blandly, and he nodded.
“Chu Xun is here!” Fu Qingquan felt apologetic towards Chu Xun for his son’s insults at her, so he behaved more affably around her. Hearing the sound of children crying downstairs, Fu Qingquan asked, “Why is it so noisy downstairs? Are the two kids being lectured by Fu Cheng after getting in trouble?”
Chu Xun glanced at Fu Huai’an. Since Fu Huai’an had already left the study and heard the commotion downstairs, Chu Xun knew very well that Fu Huai’an would defend his own son. As an outsider, it wasn’t her place to meddle in the Fus’ family affairs.
Chu Xun looked like she was in a difficult position and couldn’t speak her mind freely. “Erm… it’s not my place to be nosy and talk about the Fus’ family matters. Also, it’s rather complicated…”
Hearing Fu Xinxin and Fu Mingming’s cries coming from downstairs, Fu Qingquan frowned and strode towards the stairs.
Chu Xun gazed at Fu Huai’an and said to him in a low voice, “Let’s go downstairs together!”
Downstairs.
Fu Cheng and his family were all standing at the entrance. One of the kids was crying in Ye Ziqi’s arms, whilst the other was kneeling on the ground and crying! Fu Cheng fixed one hand on his wife’s shoulder and pulled up his daughter with the other. That scene was as pitiful as it got!
“What happened?” Fu Qingquan put on the air of a senior and asked with his brows furrowed, holding back his anger.
Secretary Song, who had been standing by the side watching and not saying anything, went up to Fu Qingquan and roughly told him what had happened.
Fu Huai’an narrowed his eyes. He went past Secretary Song and Fu Qingquan and descended the stairs, walking towards Lin Nuan and Tuan Tuan.
Lin Nuan was hugging Tuan Tuan in her arms. Upon seeing that leggy and handsome man walk towards them, all of the aggrievedness welled up in her heart, and her nostrils started to sting as warm tears filled up her eyes.
“What’s the matter?” Fu Huai’an walked to Lin Nuan and took Tuan Tuan from her arms. With one hand on Lin Nuan’s shoulder, he lowered his head and asked gently.
Chu Xun, who was standing behind Fu Qingquan, had her hands clenched into fists. She turned her head away and refused to look at Fu Huai’an and Lin Nuan, then moved towards Old Madam Fu.
“Fu Cheng’s kids snatched away the pendant that I gave to Tuan Tuan. They even pushed him into the lake! If I hadn’t got there in time…” Lin Nuan said in a choked voice. “When I got there, the little girl was telling her younger brother that you snatched her father’s company away from him. If Tuan Tuan… you would be devastated!”
Lin Nuan then gently lifted the clothing off the back of Tuan Tuan’s neck to show Fu Huai’an. “Look…”
Fu Huai’an tightened his hold on Lin Nuan’s shoulder, and his expression turned dark.
Seeing the tears in Lin Nuan’s eyes, Tuan Tuan shrunk his neck and reached out both hands, asking for a hug from Lin Nuan. “Tuan Tuan… doesn’t hurt! Mama, don’t cry!”
Lin Nuan felt even more awful hearing this. With much difficulty, she managed a smile as she took Tuan Tuan and held him in a tight embrace. She leaned against Fu Huai’an’s chest, as if leaning against her strong pillar of support.
Seeing that Ye Ziqi was no longer engaging in sophistry now, Su Manman sneered and said, “Ye Ziqi, did you not say the Fus were bullying your family? Have you turned into a mute? Go ahead and explain!”
Ye Ziqi gritted her teeth as she turned her head to glare at Su Manman.
