My Pick Up Artist System
chapter-127

Ben's sudden threat caused Lawrence to step back, surprised an unknown person intervened out of nowhere. "Who are you?"

Ben moved between him and the petite girl who was the target of their aggression. When he did, her eyes grew larger than anyone else's, shocked an unknown man would come to her rescue.

"Name's Ben. I'm your new group member. I hope we get along famously…but if you say another word to this girl, I'll rip your f*cking head off."

Lawrence was silent at first, caught off guard by Ben's aggression, but when he realized he was much taller, Lawrence regained confidence. "YOU will? That's hilarious!"

Ben's face turned stony, and he took a few steps towards Lawrence, the distance between them shrinking...until they were close enough for punches to fly. Ben clasped his hands into fists as his muscles tensed, preparing to strike. "Try me…"

Lawrence was about to say something else, but when he noticed Ben's muscles pushing out of his clothes, he swallowed his words. Ben hadn't been slacking off in the gym and the results showed. Even though he was short, he didn't look weak at all. In addition, there was something else bothering Lawrence. 'Why is he glaring at my d*ck?'

...

When Ben said he would rip his head off…that was so Lawrence would misjudge the strike's intended target--a fake-out… Yet, it was also true since he didn't say which head…

As for Lawrence, after evaluating the situation and considering his response, he looked at Ben as if he was looking at a corpse...wondering why it was there and if he should call the police...

...

Amidst the quiet showdown, right as the tension peaked...they struck!

A pair of titties that is! Professor Tremblay entered the fray!

She approached the group, asking in her French accent, "Why all the yelling here?"

Seeing the professor arrived, Lawrence decided to take a diplomatic approach. Ben's glare caused him to have a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach…even lower in fact…like his c*ck and balls ran into their fated enemy…

He answered her. "Professor, Charlotte lost our USB stick. It contained all the data and tactics we've worked on the entire past week. She said she would make a cloud backup with it, but instead, she lost it! We want her out of our group!" The other man and woman in his group nodded their heads in support.

Charlotte stared at the ground and squeezed her hands together, her breath growing short as she realized the entire classroom was staring at her. That wasn't the only problem either. She knew that if the professor forced her to handle this project alone, it would destroy her grade…

Hearing this story, the professor knitted her brows. It was a difficult situation. If they weren't getting along, forcing them to continue working together would be counter-productive, but having Charlotte work alone would also put her under tremendous stress. As for forcing another group to accept her, after this incident, that would also generate difficulties.

When Ben heard what the entire matter was about, he snorted. "So she lost a USB stick, so what? People make mistakes. You want to bully and kick her out for that? Grow up! I have a better idea. You won't kick her out, because she's quitting! And I'm also leaving your toxic group! We'll start one ourselves!" He turned to the blonde teacher. "Professor, I'd like to request you allow the two of us to form our own group…"

At his words, the two group members and Lawrence exchanged glances...and laughed. "Your own group? Didn't you just get here? You know, I remember seeing your face a few weeks ago. Haven't you missed class for the past few weeks?" As Lawrence chortled, he came to a realization... "Professor, I think it's a great idea. I support putting them in their own group."

The professor wasn't happy with the current dynamic, but this seemed to be the best solution for the situation. "All right, Benjamin, Charlotte, you two will be in a separate group for this competition." Then, she glanced around at everyone present. "However, don't let me see any of you causing a scene in my classroom again."

When she walked away, Lawrence was still snickering at Ben. "I don't know where you came from or what makes you think you can jump in front of me like that, but now you're out of our group too. Since you missed so much class, I have a good idea where you'll end up at the end of this...nowhere! I'm looking forward to your failure."

Ben snorted. Although he was far behind today, he believed that wouldn't be the case in a week, because he possessed a secret weapon; a powerful gift from the system that would help him ace this course—his big d*ck to tempt Miyuki!

If that didn't work, there was still the stat growth multiplier for knowledge that would let him absorb 10 weeks of information in one. Either way…

Watching Lawrence's arrogant expression, Ben smirked. "You're laughing now, but when the competition ends, we'll see who's laughing then."

"It'll be me."

Lawrence's quick response surprised Ben a little... He thought it was the hero's destiny to get the last word in... "Then, you'll be laughing at your loss."

"No I won't."

Ben narrowed his eyes. 'You forced me...' Lawrence was making him bring out the big guns from his bag of cliches... "When it's over, just remember--there's no medicine for regret."

"There are antidepressants."

Releasing a long exhale, Ben realized this was the most difficult rival he's faced...until the next one...

On top of that, Ben recognized this enemy because he was infamous; a famous foe copy-pasted from one web novel to the next like some sort of venereal disease passed between authors...

Gulping, Ben muttered it under his breath—the demon's name. "I've met my first c.o.c.kroach villain…"

Ben knew the conflict wouldn't conclude until his training montage…so he refused to waste any more words. He turned around and walked over to Charlotte who was watching all this with her mouth open in disbelief.

"Hello, I'm Ben. Your name is Charlotte?"

She blinked several times before nodding her head.

"Don't worry about anything. In this competition, you can rely on me. I'll carry you... You don't seem that heavy anyway." Ben showed a warm smile.

Dumbfounded at Ben's actions, Charlotte's thoughts were a mess. 'Why is he helping me? And he even left the group too…' In reality, if Ben didn't step in and they tossed her from the group, she would've had an enormous problem. Yet, his help...it made her uncomfortable.

She always found it difficult to ask for help, but she would never ask it from a man… 'No, he must want something… I can't trust him…but...I have no other choice now. I'm just…too useless…' Realizing she had no better option, Charlotte released a sigh under her breath. 'Since I'll fail alone anyways, then…I might as well let him do whatever…'

At that moment, the professor began the class. "Everyone, please have a seat. I'll explain the format of the competition…"
