The boy listened to her instruction and let all the mana flow in it without any hesitation...

The mystic egg sucked all of his mana as if its inside was a deep abyss...The obsidian egg started changing and glowed with the light, giving off a white radiance, and turned completely like an illuminating orb...

When Rio had spent almost 90% of his mana, the mystic egg light started transforming into the golden sun as it enveloped the whole battle arena.

Lia and the company's vision got blocked because of the blinding light, they were astonished by the unexpected event but the white radiance wasn't harmful to them.

Soon, they realized they were standing in a place that was grand in scale, with towering columns, a ceiling up high, and intricate carvings adorning the walls. Sunlight filtered in through some gaps, casting a warm glow on the ground.

The floor was made of white marble, with ancient patterns and symbols etched into the stone. The air was thick with the scent of aromatic unknown flowers, adding to the mystical atmosphere of the place.

In the center of the temple stood a large white statue, its surface adorned with gold and precious glittering stones.

The statue depicted a powerful figure, with a stern expression and strong muscles. It was clear that the person whose statue this was sure of great significance and a powerful warrior in his time.

Lia and company looked at each other then nodded to give a silent agreement and approached the statue, their heels clicked with the marble floor.

They noticed that the large white stony figure was emanating a soft light as if the person was alive and also felt as if it was watching them with its kind gaze.

The statue began to speak as they neared, the man's voice was deep and full of wisdom, "It's been a while since someone visited this place…Before we have a good talk let me tell you a story…

A hundred thousand years ago, there existed a powerful civilization that was said to possess great treasures, unimaginable powers, and ground-breaking secrets.

However, this civilization was also said to be cursed by the heavens which caused it to be destroyed during the battle between god and the people of this land. The great war resulted in many powerful immortals, gods, and mythic beasts losing their life.

Later, this cursed as well as the blessed land, where this civilization lived and where the great battle occurred, was named the Forbidden Land. Those who entered its borders were never seen again.

A wise and powerful warrior, who was said to have lived during the time of the ancient civilization and survived in the fierce battle, created a map that could lead to the Forbidden Land.

But the warrior wanted only a worthy person to enter this place and claim the treasures, so he divided the map into five pieces and scattered them across the world for the future generation to find to give his trials.

The legend says that whoever finds all five pieces of the map will be able to enter the Forbidden Land, but they must be wise, and worthy for the land is filled with dangers and traps.

Some diviner discovered that the treasures of the ancient civilization are still hidden there, waiting to be found by a worthy heir.

In Thousands of years that passed by, many have searched for the pieces of the map throughout the ages, but only a few have ever found even one piece.

A few experts say that the pieces are buried in the depths of the crimson sea, others say they are hidden in the highest peaks of the tallest mountain and some believe it is protected by powerful traps and magic in the deserts.

But the legend also indicated that whoever finds the five pieces of the map will not only find the treasures of the ancient civilization but also become the heir who would learn the secret of the curse, and will be able to lift it to enter the forbidden land without any fear."

The statue's voice explained the story in a majestic voice as it described the legend from a long time ago.

As it spoke, they could feel the terrifying power and energy of the place and the man, as if they were being pulled into the story itself.

Nayla and Helia had their faces adorned with fear and surprise as the man talked about the forbidden land curse and the great war while Lia and Rio kept their calmness and listened carefully.

Seeing two of the girls being afraid, the voice continued, "However, you don't have to worry about all this... because I'm the person who created the map...

This is the last remnant of my soul to guide the worthy heir to the forbidden land. I have created a few keys to this place and scattered them around this planet. Until now you're the fourth one who had found this key to my resting abode…

Surprisingly, We have four of you here and each one of you treasures the other a lot." The man spoke and waited for their response.

He could tell these four cherished each other as he observed them carefully since they arrived at this place. The man saw how each of their eyes flickered with kind emotions when they looked at one another.

"Forbidden land..." Lia mumbled, her voice sounding as if she was recognizing this term.

"Ehh…I feel a familiar aura from you. What's your name, Little girl?" The statue's voice asked as he could see the white-haired beauty was knowledgeable about this name.

"I'm Lia Devlin…" She responded, and her voice was respectful.

"Another Devlin…" The man spoke in an astonished tone.
