"It's sister Helia. She is injured." Nyla cried out in a worried tone as she didn't want to lose her and tried to struggle free from Rio's strong grip.

Helia's voice was barely heard by them because the sandstorm was making so much noise with its howling wind current.

"We can not save her unless the storm goes away. Our feet are dug deeper into the ground that's helping us to not get thrown away like her.

If we go now to save her, we would also get wounded and won't be able to help her later. Helia can withdraw from this place if it gets too bad for her."

Rio spoke using telepathy in her mind and tried to convince the magenta-haired beauty as she was resisting his grasp on her to save the lioness. He was holding her tightly to stop her from making a rash decision and harming herself.

Nyla hesitated but then stopped struggling to get free as she understood him and thought carefully that this could put both of them in danger. She wanted to save Helia but not at the cost of putting her Rio in a life-threatening situation.

The sandstorm was terrifying, with huge gusts of wind that seemed to be lifting the sand off the ground and throwing it at the couple with the force of a hurricane. The air was thick with sand, making it difficult to breathe but the duo was worried about Helia whose condition was unknown.

Rio and Nyla huddled together, trying to shield themselves from the sandstorm that was whipping through the desert.

The wind howled around them, sending sand flying in every direction. Rio coiled his arms strongly around Nyla's body, pulling her close to him and protecting her as best as he could.

Nyla clung to Rio, her eyes closed tight, and pray to heaven for Helia's safety. She could feel Rio's heart beating steadily against her own, and it gave her a sense of comfort in the midst of the desperate situation.

The girl knew that as long as he was with her, she would be okay but she was feeling bad for the blonde-haired beauty.

The sandstorm raged on for half an hour, and they were one-third deep into the sands as it also protected them from getting swayed away by the rowdy gale of dusty winds.

As the air got lighter and the howling sound went away from the duo, they opened their eyes and looked around them for their missing comrade.

The ground was drowned in sand, creating sand dunes and changing the landscape completely.

Rio helped Nyla to get out of the pile of sand before also coming out of it as they were stuck inside the ground.

As they both ejected of the confinement they both started searching their surroundings to find the Lioness...

"Where are you, Sister Helia!!!" Nyla shouted to call her, her tired voice filled with sorrow and worry. Her heart was aching in agony at the worse possibility, she totally ignored the warm sunlight that was burning her skin.

The duo stumbled through the sand, searching for any sign of the Lioness. They knew that Helia was out there somewhere, injured and in need of help.

Rio remembered from where her groaning sound had come, he started looking for her in that direction.

The aftereffect of the sand storm had caused the footsteps to already be covered beneath it and erased all the signs possible that could help him to find her.

As he kept looking with a bitter face, his [Life Sutra] was helping him to fight against the fatigue compared to Nyla, and [Heart Sutra] helped him calm down in this bad situation.

The boy spotted a haggard figure lying on the ground a few yards away, her head almost completely engulfed in sand.

"She is here..." Rio called out to Nyla who was searching in another direction as he sprinted toward the blonde-haired beauty.

As he got closer, the boy could see that Helia's body was partially buried in the sand, with only her head and arms visible. Her face was almost obscured by the sand, but he could see that her rounded chest was still rising and falling indicating that she was still alive.

Rio quickly started to dig Helia out of the sand, using both hands to scoop the sand away from her body, revealing her face and torso completely.

Nyla soon approached them with a hurried pace to help him. They could see that she had a slight gash on her leg and her clothes were torn and dirty. Her top was almost tattered revealing her bruised shoulder and pale neck.

As they freed Helia from the sand, Rio carefully pulled her in a hug and checked her pulse, it was stable.

"We need to stop the bleeding on her leg," Nyla said in a concerned tone.

Rio nodded as he tore his shirt's sleeve and used it as a makeshift bandage to stop the bleeding from her leg.

The scorching hot sun was making it hard for them to stay so he lifted her up and hugged her like a baby with one hand to support her pulpy butt and the second one behind her head to press again his chest as he carried her comfortably.

"We need to leave this place and find a source of water," The boy said,

Inspecting Helia's condition informed him that she wasn't in a life-threatening condition. Even if he wanted to send her out of this hot desert, He needed to wake her up first.

With Helia in his baby hug, Rio and Nyla made their way back in the eastern direction, grateful that the blonde-haired beauty wasn't badly injured and had found her before it was too late.
