James was caught in the flames, his eyes widening in surprise as he felt the heat dancing around him. Nyla, however, remained unaffected by the flames. This was the unique battle art technique that she had learned after reaching the red stage.

The heat from her yellow flames seemed to scorch the air around them, making James sweat profusely and struggle to keep up.

As the audience watched with bated breath, Nyla's calm expression belied the ferocity of her strength.

Without warning, Nyla's body tensed as she readied herself to strike her opponent down. She took a step forward, her movements fluid and graceful as she brought her fist forward with impeccable form. The power behind the punch was evident in the air, the sheer force of it causing a ripple effect around her.

As her fist connected with James, a shockwave emanated from the impact, sending him flying backward. The force of the blow caused the ground to tremble, and the grass beneath them became shaved, revealing the dirt below. James let out a pained groan as he landed hard, blood gushing from his mouth.

The bald man, their referee, rushed towards James to check if he was in any condition to continue the match. However, it was clear that James was in no condition to stand, let alone continue the fight.

"James can not fight anymore, Nyla Mailon wins the match and becomes the first one to enter the quarter-finals." The referee's voice boomed in the stadium, announcing the victor of the first battle.

The audience flared up into cheers as Nyla was declared the first winner to reach the quarter-finals.

It was clear that the international tournament was off to an explosive start, with battles that would leave the spectators on the edge of their seats.

Nyla made her way back to her seat as she was done with her match, however, she didn't leave the stadium, wanting to watch more matches.

As she sat down, her eyes glued on the arena, taking in the remaining matches but she was also looking for someone in the audience.

The stadium was filled with excitement as the crowd eagerly awaited the next round.

one more match passed in a blur, the victor moving on to the quarter-final.

The thrill grew as the announcer called out the names of the next combatants, Lily Havenglow and Hazel Cloven.

Both of them were famous in the human world, known for their beauty, and strength, and also for taking the position of the current generation's goddess seats.

In the first national military school tournament that was held almost four years ago, Hazel Cloven had lost to Lily Havenglow, however, most people knew about their duel that had taken place on the island and ended up as a tie.

Even though people expected Lily to be busy finding her younger sister, Rose, in the Land of Asura but her Grandfather didn't want her to lose this important fight and made her come.

As their names were announced, a girl with a black face veil walked into the arena, surrounded by an air of elegance and poise.

The audience blew up into cheers as they recognized their number one beloved goddess, Lily Havenglow.

Although the black face veil obscured her face, the serene yet cold expression in her blue eyes revealed her elegance.

As she walked onto the battleground, her every movement was graceful and looked artistic. While her body was curvaceous, her bosom was firm, well-rounded, and ample enough to be called perfect.

The girl was of the same height as Lia, and her ethereal beauty made her seem otherworldly.

As Lily stood calmly in the center of the battleground, a hush fell over the audience. The tension in the air was flowing to the brim, and all eyes were fixed on the entrance, waiting for the arrival of her opponent, Hazel Cloven. But as the minutes ticked by, it became clear that something was amiss.

The whispers of the audience grew louder as Hazel failed to appear, and speculation ran rampant.

Had she been injured in the Land of Asura?

Was she too intimidated by Lily's strength to show up?

But the truth was something that no one knew.

Despite the bald man's best efforts to find Hazel in the audience, she was nowhere to be found. As the allotted time of ten minutes passed, the referee announced the unthinkable.

With a disappointed tone, he spoke, "Hazel Cloven is absent. Lily Havenglow wins the match."

A wave of disbelief washed over the audience as they struggled to come to terms with this unexpected turn of events. They were excited to see two of their goddesses fight in the arena but one didn't show up.

Lily gracefully withdrew from the arena, her face veil fluttered by the cold breeze. The audience still erupted into applause and cheers once again, showing respect to their favorite, as Lily advanced to the quarterfinals without having to fight a single match.

People of the human world could not wait to see what she had in store for the quarterfinals as everyone knew she would definitely fight in the finals.

The big screen lit up with the next battle's participants, and the names of Rio Havenglow and Lex Magnus glowed in bold letters. The crowd hushed as the referee announced their names, requesting them to step into the battleground.

Lex Magnus, brown-haired boy, stepped forward, towering at a height of 190 centimeters. He was dressed in all black, and his face was concealed by a mysterious mask. The mask was a sleek, metallic design that seemed to glint in the light. As he walked toward the center of the arena, his aura exuded confidence and power.

Unsurprisingly, he was the heir of the Magnus family, one of the seven silver sword families. Lex himself was known to be a prodigy, having trained under Lily's grandfather and reaching the red stage. Not many people knew but this was only with the help of the Havenglow family's old man who had taken him as his personal disciple.

The news of Rio's death had dampened the hope for the battle between Lex Magnus and Rio Havenglow. People had already assumed that Lex would win by default, so they weren't particularly excited about this match. However, the referee followed the rules and announced their names to step into the battleground.

Everyone was waiting for ten minutes to finish so the boy could get the victory by default and they could watch the next match.

Just as the audience thought they had seen it all and Lex Magnus would be announced the winner of this match, something unexpected happened.

Suddenly, the audience saw a boy walking onto the stadium ground, his face obscured by a mask.

As the boy with crimson hair stepped onto the stadium ground, the air was thick with anticipation.

"Yeeeeeeeeee!!!!"

The Golden Seal Academy students stood up in unison, thunderous cheers of his name, ringing throughout the arena.

"Rio!!!!!"

"Rio!!!!!"

"Rio!!!!!"

It was as if the ground beneath them was shaking with the sheer force of their excitement and emotion. Goosebumps prickled on the skin of every spectator as they realized who it was - the missing Havenglow child, believed to be dead, had returned!

The boy strode calmly onto the stadium ground, his white mask hiding his face completely. The mask was adorned with stylish blue stripes that ran from above his eyes down to his jaw, giving him an air of mystery and danger. It was the same mask he had worn during his epic EastWind battles in the virtual reality game. Nyla had designed it, especially for her beloved boy to wear during the international tournament.

The crowd gasped in unison, their eyes wide with shock and awe.

The atmosphere roared with a wave of cheer, the air flowing with thrill, as the boy made his way to the center of the arena. The unexpected return of the missing Havenglow's adopted child surprised the audience, and a cheer erupted from everyone as they welcomed him back to the arena.

It was a moment that no one could have predicted, a twist that left everyone speechless and the finals just got a whole lot more interesting.

Lily narrowed her eyes, watching the boy with annoyance. Although she had no personal grudges against him, she disliked the fact that her mother wanted her to marry him which she was not going to accept.

Intrigue and excitement filled the air as the thrilling battle between two children of seven silver sword families were about to commence, not only were they the child from the famous families but also the champion of previous years.

The stage was set for an epic showdown between two formidable opponents, and the tension in the stadium was noticeable. The suspense among the audience was at an all-time high, as they eagerly awaited the two young warriors to begin their battle.

But as Rio made his grand entrance, the excitement in the crowd reached new heights. The roar of the crowd was deafening, far surpassing the enthusiasm they had previously shown when Lily took the arena field.

The atmosphere in the stadium was filled with thrill as all eyes were fixed on the adopted child of the Havenglow family and Lex Magnus.
