Peerless Martial God 2
chapter-820

“Let’s go,” Lin Feng said to Jing Wu Hen and the others. He walked down the main street towards the city gate. He really wanted to leave the Lun Bi Empire.

Many people were dumbstruck. Nobody dared stop him, though. He was too strong, and the news that he had had an incredible fight against Chu Lin Feng spread around very quickly. Those who initially despised Lin Feng were now afraid of him. That was what happened when someone was extremely strong.

Chu Chun Qiu watched Lin Feng disappear into the horizon. They hadn’t met for a hundred years, but Lin Feng was still extremely strong, and just as aggressive as back in the days.

Wait. Wait until we meet again. I will thoroughly defeat you then!, thought Chu Chun Qiu, clenching his fists hard.

The Third Master was standing next to Chu Chun Qiu, but he remained silent. He knew that his disciple needed to calm down. He also needed to find his purpose in life.

The Third Master hadn’t thought that Lin Feng would be so strong. He was stronger than Chu Li, and even faster at recovering his Qi. He was a terrifying opponent. If Chu Li and Lin Feng had fought in the finals of the Great Competition, Lin Feng would have ranked first!

Of course, that’s only what the Third Master thought. He hadn’t seen how strong Lin Feng really was, after all. That’s the conclusion he had come to after analyzing a few things…

——

In the imperial palace of the Lun Bi Empire…

Lun Bi Sheng Tian looked flustered and exasperated. Chu Chun Qiu was calm after taking off his mask. He looked resolute and steadfast, despite the twenty-centimeter scar on the face. It was already pale, but still visible.

Lun Bi Sheng Tian watched Chu Chun Qiu icily. He grunted coldly and asked, “Who told you to let Lin Feng go?”

“I decided it myself,” Chu Chun Qiu replied nonchalantly.

Lun Bi Sheng Tian looked furious, but what could he do? “What made you think you could do such a thing?” said Lun Bi Sheng Tian icily.

Chu Chun Qiu grinned scornfully and asked, “What makes you think you could keep him here?”

“Because I am the leader of the Lun Bi Empire; I am Lun Bi Sheng Tian!” replied Lun Bi Sheng Tian, sticking out his chest confidently.

“But he’s not from the empire.”

“I am a cultivator who has the strength of the legendary cultivation layer, I can do whatever I want! I can kidnap people if I want to!” said Lun Bi Sheng Tian, smiling scornfully and staring at Chu Chun Qiu.

“The legendary cultivation level? Is it that amazing? The Great Imperial God level is divided into how many layers? The half-Great Supreme God layer, the first Great Supreme God layer, the second, and the last is the eighth… They’re all legendary cultivators, but you only have the strength of the first Great Supreme God layer. Is that enough to be proud?” asked Chu Chun Qiu, smiling scornfully. He didn’t show any respect to the leader.

“You really want to die!” shouted Lun Bi Sheng Tian, clenching his fists. His eyes were filled with flames of fury.

He really wanted to crush Chu Chun Qiu, but Chu Chun Qiu had become the symbol of the Lun Bi Empire, so he couldn’t. The relationship between the ancient sect and the empire would deteriorate if he did. How could he kill the champion of the Great Competition?

Chu Chun Qiu looked at him tauntingly and countered, “What? Did I say anything wrong? You are really just a cultivator of the first Great Supreme God layer; my teacher already has the strength of the third.

“Don’t forget that the Lun Bi Empire’s purpose is to protect him, not you,” said Chu Chun Qiu, smiling widely. Lun Bi Sheng Tian paled and his cheeks burned.

The Third Master seemed worried, but then he thought of his teacher and relaxed again. Everybody knew about the three masters of the Lun Bi Empire: the Third Master, the Second Master, and the Great Master.

Chu Chun Qiu had progressed extremely quickly thanks to the Great Master. The Third Master didn’t teach him too much; the Great Master taught him most of what he knew. Chu Chun Qiu respected the Great Master a lot, and even admired him.

Even though Lun Bi Sheng Tian was furious, he had no choice but to admit Chu Chun Qiu was right. The ancestor of the empire already had the strength of the third Great Supreme God layer; he was the real protector of the empire!

In the outside world, there were rumors that there was a cultivator who had the strength of the legendary cultivation layer in the Lun Bi Empire, but who knew that they had not just a cultivator with the strength of the first Great Supreme God layer, but that there was another one with the strength of the third?

“Alright, anyway. The Great Master is a holy man. Nobody should mention him,” said Lun Bi Sheng Tian. He still feared the man, even after he had broken through to the first Great Supreme God layer.

The atmosphere became tense. Chu Chun Qiu left the imperial palace, ignoring Lun Bi Sheng Tian.

The Third Master followed Chu Chun Qiu. It became quite cold in the palace.

Bam!Lun Bi Sheng Tian hammered the table in front of him. It exploded into pieces. Many people outside were startled when they heard the sound.

And still nobody had found his throne yet…

——-

A night passed. Lin Feng and the others had already left the territory of the Lun Bi Empire. They were at the border of Ze Country. A few more millions of li and they’d arrive in the capital city of Ze Country.

“Lin Feng, I’m going back. We’ll meet again,” said Jing Wu Hen in midair. He wanted to return to Yuan Hall.

Next time they’d meet, maybe he’d be as strong as Lin Feng!

“Wu Hen, thank you for everything, brother,” answered Lin Feng, bowing hand over fist. Jing Wu Hen had done his best to save him from the Ancient Demonic Clan. Lin Feng really considered him like a brother.

Lin Feng considered him his best friend, his brother, just like Xiao Qing was his sister.

“Take care, guys,” said Jing Wu Hen, nodding at Chen Guang Yu and Jiang Xuan. He didn’t know Jeston very well.

Lin Feng watched Jing Wu Hen disappear in the distance. He was a bit sad for a few minutes.

“Lin Feng, where do you want to go?” asked Chen Guang Yu. He was excited. He hoped Lin Feng would go to the Tai Qing Sect now. Qing Xin Yue had invited him, after all and she was really beautiful, so how could Lin Feng refuse?

But Lin Feng replied, “I need to go to Lang Xie City, and then I’ll go to the Fa Lan Empire. I’ll go to the Tai Qing Sect in six months.”

Lin Feng was sorry, but he couldn’t do things based on what people expected from him. Besides, Qing Xin Yue looked like Yao Yu Yan, so Lin Feng didn’t really want to see her. It made him feel sad.

“Alright, I’ll wait for you in Jin Lun City then. If you don’t come back in six months, then you can come straight to the Tai Qing Sect yourself. Here is a map,” said Chen Guang Yu. He didn’t insist, and just gave a map to Lin Feng. If Lin Feng didn’t come back within six months, he could go to the Tai Qing Sect himself.

He wasn’t worried that Lin Feng wouldn’t keep his promise. Lin Feng never did such things.

“Alright, I will do my best to come to Jin Lun City first,” nodded Lin Feng. Since he had agreed to go to the Tai Qing Sect, he would definitely keep his promise.

“Since it’s that way, I’m off. Jin Lun City is safe with the four protectors. I will do my best to help them manage Jin Lun City,” said Chen Guang Yu. He left and flew south.

Jing Wu Hen had left, and Chen Guang Yu had left as well. Only Jeston and Jiang Xuan were left. The boy probably wanted to stay with Lin Feng. What about Jeston, though?

The atmosphere was a bit tense because Lin Feng was staring at Jeston. Jeston looked confused. He turned his head and smiled widely, then coughed a few times and said, “Eh, Lin Feng… I also want to go and travel around the continent. Bye-bye!” said Jeston. He got ready to leave, but Lin Feng was faster and flashed in front of him.

“Tell me, are you responsible for what happened in the Lun Bi Empire? What’s your plan?”
