chapter-1573
The array activated just in time and Huang Yueli just managed to scrap past the crisis.
She heaved a long sigh as she laid limp on the ground, looking at the outer electric currents sparkling as she felt super fortunate over this.
At least her luck wasn’t that bad. If not for this array which could just nicely be activated, it probably would be difficult for her to escape from this round’s death!
Three magical beasts discovered that their prey had actually escaped and all of them were raging with anger as they kept on howling outside the array and using up all their strength to make their moves. Bolts after bolts of electric currents crashed onto the array as though it didn’t require any Profound Energy.
For a moment in time, Huang Yueli was worried that this ancient array would suddenly become ineffective. But she rejoiced at the result because. under such intense attacks, the array patterns kept on releasing dazzling rays, reflecting all the electric currents back!
“The Senior who created this array must be an Array Grandmaster! To be able to deflect three powerful magical beasts attacks, not many people are able to set this up eh?”
Huang Yeuli looked left and right. If it wasn’t for the fact that the current situation wasn’t suitable, she really wanted to do a thorough research on this array.
To be able to deflect ninth levelled magical beasts, this might probably be a god grade array.
But now was not the time for her to be distracted.
Very soon, Huang Yueli realised that although this array was able to block out the magical beasts outside, but the depletion of the magical beast cores was simply too fast.
The handful of magical beast cores which she threw out earlier were all seventh or eighth levelled magical beast cores, and those were from Li Moying who hunted for those magical beasts in Violet Sun Valley. This kind of single attributed, pure energy and high grade magical beast cores were very durable in maintaining ordinary arrays.
But in this array, it was merely less than one hour and its energy was nearly depleted completely.
Huang Yueli had no choice but to change a new batch of magical beast cores.
But this wasn’t a good long term plan because she originally didn’t have many high levelled magical beast cores with her. As she was trapped in the array, she had no way to replenish it as well. In this way, it won’t take long before the array would collapse because of insufficient energy.
The only plan now was to pray that these three magical beasts would lose their patience soon and return to their original position.
However, not knowing what was going on, even Heavens went against her.
Huang Yueli waited and waited, and changed several magical beasts cores but those magical beasts continued to stubbornly prowl in wait outside the array.
Huang Yueli put her hand into Sky Phoenix Ring’s storage space to discover that she didn’t have much seventh grade magical beast cores left as her expression turned extremely grave.
“These magical beasts are really too much, haven’t they seen any beauty before? Don’t they know that they look very ugly? Why must they keep following me!”
Although she spat out these words of ridicule, Huang Yueli actually had an understanding in her heart.
This was probably related to the Sacred Phoenix Race.
The valley’s magical beasts seemed to be attracted towards fire attributed energy naturally. Previously when Little Phoenix exhibited it’s Profound Energy, it suffered a large group of magical beasts’ attacks.
Earlier when she was running for her life, as she had no choice, she had to exhibit her Profound Skill.
In this way, it turned her into a plate of tender fatty meat, luring those magical beasts appetites as they pursued after her relentlessly.
Huang Yueli’s brows creased tightly as she tried her best to think of corresponding ways to deal with this matter.
But this was destined to be solution-less. The array’s energy was about to exhaust whereas she…. had no place to escape to!
She only heard a loud “boom” and the array patterns suddenly lit up.
