[Experiment Note #2: The Professor]
[To ensure the constant observation of his experiment, the professor would send his assistant along with the invasion team to continue the experiment on-site, it's a necessary act to prevent any side effects and improve the potency of the serum, all for the glory of the Aryan empire future]
[Hidden mission activated]
[Find the Experiment note #3]
The discovery of the second note ignited a renewed sense of determination within Alan. The hidden quest had become a personal mission, one he couldn't afford to let slip through his fingers. Yet, despite this newfound motivation, Alan remained true to his commitment to fulfilling the skirmish tasks he had promised to the group. On that particular day, they embarked on their mission to track down and engage two more Nazi patrols. The first was a smaller, more manageable group, while the second posed a significant challenge with its staggering 120 soldiers. The encounter with the larger patrol proved to be a grueling test of their combat prowess, and it left several of their comrades heavily wounded. It was a harsh reminder of the unforgiving nature of their circumstances. Fortunately, their preparation had included a generous supply of the newly acquired [Medicated gauze], which proved to be a lifesaver as they tended to their injured companions.
These skirmishes served as invaluable training opportunities. The group's combat skills continued to evolve, and their experiences in the field contributed to the accumulation of both experience points and survival points. As their proficiency grew, so did their confidence, transforming them into a more formidable and cohesive fighting unit.
Meanwhile, the crafting team back at the farm worked tirelessly to produce an array of essential items. Leather armor, swords, and shields were manufactured in abundance. there were also the new products that were made possible by Alan's diligent salvage efforts, the medical gauze and bows. These items were strategically set aside for sale at the military camp, bolstering their reserve of survival points.
As night blanketed the town, Alan embarked on his hunt once more, his ambitions soaring higher than before. With relentless determination, he successfully eliminated seven SS Elite soldiers. However, his eighth attempt proved a bit too reckless, leading to a failed assault that forced him into a harrowing battle against a dozen enemy soldiers. Despite the odds, Alan managed to escape the city, albeit an hour earlier than planned.
The night's endeavors had not been in vain, as they yielded additional experience points and survival points. Yet, despite the valuable rewards, the elusive third experiment note remained frustratingly out of reach.
[3 days left to stop Nazi Invasion]
[Updating current players: 3880]Day 12 unfolded in a manner similar to the previous days, with the seasoned group setting out to confront three Nazi patrols. Their efforts were bolstered by the intelligence provided by the US military through their [Military radio], which pinpointed the locations of the Nazi patrols. The first engagement occurred in the morning, targeting a regular patrol, while the second, more audacious ambush took place at noon on the outskirts of town, where they confronted a group of Nazi soldiers.
The third encounter proved to be a considerably greater challenge. A massive Nazi patrol of 200 soldiers, accompanied by an armored car mounted with a formidable machine gun, presented a formidable foe. A single misstep could result in instant death, courtesy of the heavy machine gun's relentless firepower.
In a calculated move to increase their chances of success, Merle's team feigned defeat and fled into the forest, luring most of the Nazi soldiers away from the armored car. This left the armored vehicle guarded by around three dozen soldiers.
Seizing this opportunity, Alan leveraged his mastery of stealth and activated his [Lightstep] ability. In a swift and calculated maneuver, he silently dispatched the soldiers manning the machine gun. Following his lead, Vicky's team charged in, swiftly eliminating the remaining guards.
The sound of the skirmish echoed through the area, drawing the attention of all the Nazi soldiers who hastily returned to secure their prized vehicle. However, to their astonishment, they were met by the sight of a stunning blonde girl. Vicky had already clambered atop the armored vehicle, enthusiastically channeling her excitement from one of her past movie roles.
"Die you all Nazi Scum!!!"
Simultaneously, Merle's unit charged forth from behind with unwavering determination. Caught in a pincer movement between the two militia forces, the hundred-plus Nazi soldiers found themselves in a hopeless situation. They quickly succumbed to the relentless assault, one by one, as the militia forces systematically picked them off.
The triumphant cries of the militia units rang through the air. "We did it!! Yes!!" they cheered, celebrating their hard-fought victory.
On that momentous day, the group not only secured much-needed XP and points, but they also returned home with an unexpected prize—their very own armored car, a formidable addition to their growing arsenal.
"Nina Bonita? What a beauty," Luis exclaimed the moment his eyes fell upon the impressive vehicle. With the armored car now in their possession, the Mexican was eager to rejoin the fighting team once again.
With their recent successes fresh in their minds, the group's confidence soared during their evening meal. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as they shared stories of their triumphs on the battlefield. It was during this lively conversation that Vicky introduced the idea of creating a distinctive brand for their battle-hardened militia unit.
"We need a name that's more formidable than 'Militia 17,' don't you all agree?" she asked, her eyes gleaming with determination.
Cheers of agreement resounded throughout the group, their voices echoing in the twilight. As they contemplated potential names, the excitement in the air was palpable. Suggestions flowed freely, with options like "Alan's Militia" or "The Teacher Militia" being considered. However, they collectively decided that a name with greater gravitas and intimidation factor was in order.
One player proposed a name derived from their group's distinctive animal skin armor and their famous leader was recognized by his wolf capes.
"Wolverines!"
The name conjured images of a creature renowned for its ferocity and relentless spirit, capable of taking down prey many times its size. It was a name that symbolized their determination to overcome adversity and emerge victorious in the face of daunting challenges.
"Wolverines!! We are the Wolverines!!" they chanted, their voices filled with pride and unity.

Author Note
Although some might find the name a bit cringe-worthy, it serves as a tribute to the classic movie that inspired this second round arc: "Red Dawn" (1984) and its 2012 remake. This film was the first to make me contemplate a world plunged into apocalypse by the ravages of war.
