Sam opened his eyes again.

Chorus and the Dean of Zeus Academy are still in a stalemate. Even with all the talk the Dean is very hesitant about to fighting against Chorus. Sam couldn't help but wonder just how strong Chorus really is.

Back in the Norse region and now, the Deans are practically showing their fear in front of him.

Then his thoughts went to Dean Wharton. If Chorus is this strong, then what about Dean Wharton?

As he was wondering, one of the instructors got a call from someone from the city. Sam knew his plan finally worked when he noticed the panicked expression on the Instructor's face. And as he guessed, the call was about Raios.

"Sir, one of the city guards spotted a battle not too far away from the city. When they went to check, it is Raios. Right now, he is there unconscious. The perpetrators have already fled."

Dean frowned.

"He didn't come here yet? I sent him a long time ago."

Dean asked and then shook his head before giving the instructions.

"Send someone. Tell them to bring him back to the academy if his condition is serious."

"Wait!"

Chorus yelled grabbing the attention of the Dean and the Instructor.

"Isn't Raios the one that got first place in the pocket dimension? Why is he allowed to leave? Why did he even leave in the first place? And now you are taking him away because of the injury? Please. You are just keeping your good eggs safe while trying to spoil ours."

"Well, that is actually their plan." At this moment the voice Sam has been anticipating for a while has appeared. The voice of the one and only Icarus.

He very much liked to go and bash Icarus about being late, but judging from his expression, it seems like the problem could be solved.

"What the fuck are you doing here? This is the matter of Zeus Academy and doesn't have anything to do with common public. You better back off or you will pay." One of the instructors yelled. He is very pissed right now.

Because he is one of the few who is being subjected to the twelve labors.

In fact, the difficulty of the twelve labors is much higher compared to some of his peers. He had that big of list of crimes.

Icarus just smiled and said.

"Indeed, you would like to think so. But the people you are obstructing right now are not exactly part of the Zeus Academy. Most of them are normal citizens and by virtue of the contract with Hub, they are affiliated with us.

The same goes for the other academies.

You have no right to detain them here because of some crazy theories that you cooked up. For all we know, this is just your desperate attempt at revenge for being constant losers in everything that you came across in recent times."

"Icarus, I know you have your grievances with the Academy, that is why I am letting you run wild. But don't you dare run your mouth? You will have to face some serious consequences."

The Dean spoke and all he got in return was a snort from Icarus.

Icarus' gaze swept through the instructors and the seniors in the spot. He activated his wrist band and soon a notification popped up in the wristbands of these instructors and seniors. They all had a bad feeling.

They all got a written message and it read the same.

"From this moment onwards, the student/instructor <name> is banned from the Hub for participating in immoral activities.

This decision has been made because your behavior has breached the seventh clause in the special training contract you have signed with the Hub. The clause clearly states that you shall not perform any activities that go beneath the basic moral code.

You have used your superior strength against the grade 1 students outside the pocket dimension, forcing them to undergo soul-damaging interrogation.

For that reason, your ban will be applied indefinitely until the management of the hub investigates further and confirms your actual involvement in the matter. If the involvement is confirmed, you shall be revoked from the hub permanently."

And that was it.

"FUCK"

"OH MY GOD"

"What the fuck is happening?"

"No, you can't do this to us."

People started yelling. Particularly the seniors. Soon there is going to be the interacademy tournament for the seniors, they were all training like crazy in the hub. If they are kicked out now, they will be left behind by a huge margin.

They know for sure that their rivals in the other regions will not let this chance go.

Dean frowned deeply as he looked at Icarus.

Since the start, only he knew how much of an influence the hub wielded. At least, he is the only one that too precautions after being aware of it, but he didn't expect this kind of attack.

"You cannot do this. Joker will not allow this." Dean said to Icarus.

"I am the acting manager and if Joker indeed decides that it is indeed my fault, then he will be the one to punish me. It is between us, the employee and employer, and not for the general public to interfere."

Icarus looked at the instructor who said similar words to him.

The next few seconds the place held a complete silence. The elders and the instructors were not ready for a situation like this.

They were prepared for instructors intervening, they were prepared for Elders defending, they even prepared for these kids weeping like babies.

But threats were not something they prepared for. Particularly, a threat that could impact the future of their students and in turn their academy.

The Elders started whispering with the Dean.

At first Dean's expression was stubborn. It was clear that he didn't want to give a shit. He looked like he wanted to press forward. However, after some time, the elders finally managed to persuade him. He didn't speak a word.

He just turned around and left.

The encirclement ended.

Sam heaved a sigh of relief and so did the rest of the students. All of them felt lucky. They believed that their luck was the reason they escaped. After all, before there were many students who got subjected to the interrogation and Icarus wasn't there to save them.

However, before their turn came, he came and saved them from this precarious situation.

If only they knew that the difference is not luck, but Sam's presence, well, in a way, that could be considered as luck as well. They are lucky to be in the same place and time as Sam.

Sam messaged Icarus that he will meet him later and went to the Gambler Academy along with the rest of the members. He knew there would be some discussions and since he is the one that summoned Dove, he is needed there.

And just like he expected, there were some meetings. Mostly it is some consolation from the Elders and apologies from the instructors for failing to stop the Zeus Academy.

After that, Sam was invited to a special meeting of the student council.

It was like an auditorium this time and there are a lot more people than before.

Dove stood at the front and wrote something on the board.

'War on Zeus Academy'

That was what she wrote.

"From this moment onwards this is our only goal. Technically we already started the war and won the first exchange. The only we stopped it is because we wanted to respect the timings of the pocket dimension.

However, they obviously don't respect that time. So, let's not either. For every pocket dimension, most of the students from the other academies leave and since the attacks from other academies are also less, they can only maintain minimum security at some points.

Our first goal is to capture as many first-grade resource points of the Zeus Academy as possible.

Of course, there are many limitations in capturing first-grade resource points. But Gambler Academy does have something unique and we are going to use it to the utmost advantage…."

Dove went on to narrate the plan while drawing it on the board. She was serious and her demeanor is that of the military strategist.

Sam was impressed beyond words. After the meeting was over, he went to meet Icarus and his friends.

"The Dean of the Zeus Academy is one piece of work. He forced my freaking hand."

Sam said with a sigh. Even though he got out of the situation easily, he had to push the plans forward a bit. Particularly, using the threat of banning students from the Hub.

There is a reason why the conditions were both strict and vague. Sam left it open to have control over the students in cases like these. But now that this is revealed, the retaliation from the Deans should be expected soon.
