Bloody Chariot went to the communication formation.

On the other side, Thor's image is visual. A tragic one actually. His clothes and armor are tattered. He has several injuries which shouldn't matter much for the man of his strength. So, the gloomy and sad expression on his face can only be a result of something else.

"They died."

That is his opening statement.

"Who died?"

"The kids, everyone that went to the expedition. Everyone that was on the planet. Except for the elders that went to accompany them. They all died."

Bloody Chariot's spine shivered. He felt the chills run all over it.

"What happened?" He asked in quivering tone.

"The formations became odd as we kept on solving them. After that, the domes for some reason started acting weird. They got charged with unstable energy which threatened to explode. We tried to stabilize it, but it was too late.

The whole planet imploded on its own. From what we saw the formations that exploded caused a disturbance in the numerous energy veins and spirit mines that are present on the planet. With their destruction, the instability extended to the core.

Once its energy became unstable, everything imploded. We were thrown into the vacuum. The kids are unable to withstand the implosion and died before they could activate the transference token.

Even if they did, I doubt they could have withstood the turbulence in the spatial pathways that are opened in that area.

Bloody Chariot, we have been set up.

The Hub is behind this. I just came to know what happened in your city. I am sure the rest of the academies are trying hard to go at the Hub. If the news of these expeditions come out, the families of the students are that are involved….

The shit is way out of our hand. We can't handle this without suffering some losses. We need to find out the culprit as soon as possible to withstand the heat."

"Do you have any leads, then?" Blood Chariot asked.

"No, our team already started dismantling the bird puppets at hand. We are not having much luck. These are much more difficult than the ones used for luring us to the expeditions. But there is some progress.

Anyway, you didn't mention anything about how your expedition went. But from your expression…"

"When we encountered something from that grade 2 planet, the elders suggested that we evacuate it. We did exactly that. After some time, when I tried to go back…"

"It didn't work" Gungnir finished the sentence. There is a pause.

"Bloody Chariot. I don't have any leads. But right now, I am grabbing any straw that I could find, and I found out something. A grade 1 student from Gambler academy. The only academy that wasn't affected by the managers. The only academy that wasn't involved in this whole scheme.

Sam.

His connection with Ivar. It is a small lead. I guess every academy investigated, but they couldn't find anything regarding his background.

However, this is the only lead available for us and I need to make sure that we hold on to it. So, I want to know, where is this Sam right now?"

"I know that he is the only lead. Even I didn't have much on his background. But one of the students was investigating his background. He might have found something on him."

"So, where is that student?"

"In the academy. He was one of the students sent on the grade 2 expedition and he was lucky enough to come back from it."

"I am coming to Zeus academy."

The call was cut off. Within a few minutes Gungnir came from the Thor academy using the space gate.

Bloody Chariot and Gungnir went to meet Christos who was in the healer's room.

"I need all the information you gathered on Sam. I knew that you manipulated his twelfth labor. I need to know what is happening."

Christos became silent for a moment and said.

"I indeed manipulated the twelfth labor of his. But I don't have complete control over it. Because I made a deal with the Telchines. The oung master of the Telchines, Krejin is in charge of his twelfth labor and I gave him authority over the Shadow Cavalry.

The goal is to have Sam captured at all costs."

Bloody Chariot held his forehead in distress.

"You made a deal with the Telchines? That mad fucking race? Those prideful punks?" His voice sounded distressed.

"Why? What happened? I know the Telchines are bad, but you are Bloody fucking Chariot." Gungnir spoke.

"I have history with Telchines. The head of the Telchine clan… the moment I step in their territory, he will be alerted and he will be after my life. Trust me, the moment I am involved with Telchines, it will rain literal hell fire in the academy realm."

That conversation ended there. Gungnir didn't really want to expand any more on that. However they had to wait until something of consequence came from Sam's labor.

But they don't have to just wait and be sitting ducks here.

Because the deans of the other academies are already plotting something. And Bloody Chariot is preparing for it.

Meanwhile, in the Sanatan Realm.

In the hub branch, which was completely empty, in active and almost… dead. Virat, a first grade student is leading the massive team filled with elders, seniors and experts in all kinds of artisan arts, formations.

"Virat, what do you think? Where do we start from?

We have been at this for hours now and we still haven't started."

One of the instructors asked in a cold tone. He is very dissatisfied since he has to follow the instructions of a first grade student of all people.

"I get it that you want to deal with this situation as fast as you can. This must feel like you are in a heaven of your dreams, Instructor. But what I understood, at least from the manufacturing and style of design this bird has, the equipment here will all be connected to one core.

We need to find the core first. I need to understand how the network between all these things were established. If we don't find that and mess with an equipment, the whole network might just crash."

"No Virat, as you said, you believe that this is the way this hub has been wired. We don't know if it was actually wired that way. So, stop being an amateur and make a decision. We can't just look at these things on a surface level."

The instructor yelled out loud. Virat felt a bit nervous. He clearly felt more at ease when he actually spent his time with the machines instead of these whiny people. The egos are raising high. However, he is very sure that there is a way to approach the Hub.

His original plan is to activate it first and examine the core of the Hub, which should be the carrier of intelligence that actually handles the operations of the Hub. He is sure that the mental energy and capacity should be at least on the level of a Divine Plane Consummate state, that too at the peak.

He is also sure that there is no such cultivator operating the hub. To have so many branches running, just to use that level of cultivators be the passive brains of these hubs? That will be a waste of an incredible resource and to have such a wastage, the organization has to be brimming with people like that.

And there is no way the academy realm is not aware of such an organization.

At least be believed that the academy realm and the gods behind them are that omnipotent. So, he needs to understand this and operate it with a greater caution. To damage any of this set up would be a sin greater that committing a genocide in his opinion.

Of course, not everything goes according to a plan.
