Chapter 314 - "Where did my bracelet go? Who stole it?" (3)
Seeing that, Fang Tian turned to the children’s parents and said to them, “You should watch your children and not let them run around like mad.”
The parents, who were chatting amongst each other, said disapprovingly, “All kids like to run around. What’s the big deal? Why are you being so hateful toward little kids, child?”
Fang Tian raised her brows, smiled, and said, “I’m streaming right now. Watch your kids or I am going to let the whole country admire their running around and also show them what kind of parents you are.”
The parents looked at her cellphone and their faces stiffened a little. They then shouted for their children to return to their seat disgruntledly. The woman in red even smacked her child on the back of his hand as she shouted, “I told you not to run around. You are making me look bad.”The kid began to shriek.
Fang JunRong rubbed her temples. No way she would take the train ever again. That being said, Fang Tian’s behaviors exceeded her expectation.
Perhaps because Fang Tian was streaming, the parents of the naughty children kept a watchful eye on them.
The train started half an hour later.
Fang JunRong looked out of the window and the scenes were moving backward. XinYun seemed to be a little sleepy by now and had her eyes closed. Fang Tian was still streaming happily but he had switched to texting with her fans instead of talking and disturbing the others.
The rowdiness inside the train died down a lot and, under the atmosphere, Fang JunRong noticed that even she was starting to get sleepy.
Suddenly, a lout shriek came, “My bracelet was gone! Who stole it?!”Opening her eyes, Fang JunRong saw the woman in red stared angrily at a girl. “Did you take it? I just went to the bathroom and my bracelet was gone!”
“No, it wasn’t me. I didn’t touch anything that’s yours.” The girl was a bit nervous but her tone was affirmative.
The woman hrumped. “Who else could it be if it wasn’t you? I was only gone for 10 minutes or so and my seat was on the inside. Anyone else will need to get through you to reach it. Tell me, who else had been to my spot?”
She looked around and raised her voice some more. “Say, you all, my husband bought me that bracelet and it close several thousand yuan. You better cough it back out or I am going to sue you. I can’t believe you are a thief at such a young age. How did your parents raise you?”
Everybody looked in their direction; some of them suspicious, some compassionate, and some contemptuous.
The girls’ eyes reddened and her voice choked up a little. “I didn’t take it. I never touched it. Your son touched the box.”
The woman turned to look at her son and asked, “Did you touch it?”
The kid who looked to be around 8 years old shrank back his neck a little and then shook his head violently. “I only picked it up and took a look at it. I put it right back.” Pointing at the girl, he said righteously, “She took it! I saw it!”
The girl was so emotional that tears began to fall. “No, I didn’t.”
The woman unleashed on her. “I am going to tear up that lying mouth of yours. Are you still denying that you are a thief?!
“Either give my bracelet back to me or pay me back!”
She leaned forward some and said in a vicious tone. “So you are not going to cough it up right? Fine, I will look for it myself, you shameless little tramp.”
A series of profanity came from the woman. Looking vicious, she was about to go pull on the girl’s clothes.
Fang JunRong couldn’t stand it any longer. She stood up and grabbed the woman by her wrist, not so gently either. “Pulling on someone’s clothing in public can be construed as intentional harm to a body and insult, punishable by fines and detention.” She didn’t believe that the girl had stole it. If she had done it, why would the kid not make a peep? For sure he would have made a fuss so loud that everybody would have heard. Fang JunRong leaned more toward the fact that the child was lying. As for why he was lying, most likely he was the one who took it. Nobody was paying attention to the corner and, even if they did, they had no evidence to prove it.
