Chapter 319 - "Yup, she can have her moment." (2)
“That is not true. My dad is not that kind of a person. I have trust in him.” Chen MingZhu’s lips were tightened, her chin tensed, and she looked wronged.
Fang JunRong said, “Right. I trust that he must have his reasons as well. Those who had never met him had no rights to opine on this.”
The woman had a disapproval look on her but she had just eaten the snacks paid for my Fang JunRong and Fang Tian so she did not rebut like she did earlier. She opened up a bag of peanuts and dived into it. She would eat one and peel one for her son.
Fang JunRong felt that this girl was quite brave. Taking the train on her own and going to an unfamiliar place to look for her father. That being said, considering that her father hadn’t been home for over a year and she didn’t even get to see him over the New Year, it’d make sense why she was nervous. But a decent look and fragile girl being alone in a city could be very dangerous. She might be kidnapped if she wasn’t careful. Her family would be very sad then.Their destination was City D but they could always get off sooner. They might as well see the girl to her destination. The few of them had no specific plans and could be as spontaneous as they would like.
Fang JunRong didn’t want to give the girl too much pressure. It was obvious that she was not a girl who liked to trouble others. She texted XinYun and Fang Tian. Both of the girls felt bad for Chen MingZhu and it was decided unanimously.
Putting down her phone, Fang JunRong smiled at Chen MingZhu and asked, “Our destination is City C as well and just might be heading in the same direction as you. Where does your dad work?”
Chen MingZhu pulled out a piece of paper and, written on there, were an address and a phone number.
“Oh, it is the same direction. Let’s go there together.”
“Thank you.”
Fang JunRong placed her palm over her forehand and her look turned serious. “You can’t be this trusting to people. You will be kidnapped at this rate.”She was lucky to have ran into them today. But what if she ran into bad people in the future?
“We take the bus then?”
Fang JunRong smiled and said, “Alright.”
XinYun obviously had a lot of curiosity toward the girl and would ask about her family from time to time.
After the initial excitement had died down, everybody had quieted down.

After tolerating it for 12 hours, Fang JunRong swore that she would not take the train ever again. Not only was it noisy and none of them could get any good rest, the cabin also had a lot of strange odors. Even Fang Tian, the one who was excited about experiencing the train was not looking very well.
Once they had arrived at the station, they couldn’t wait to get out of the train.
Once they had walked out of the train station, Fang Tian went with the woman to have the contract printed out at a supermarket close by. The contract had been waited done a while ago and just needed to be signed.
Fang Tian fetched the boss of the supermarket and read out the contract line by line. The woman’s name was Lu XiuHua. She listened to the contract impatiently. It basically stated that Fang Tian was paying for all rights to the interview and could use it however she pleased, commercially or noncommercially. And she would also have the rights to uploading it.
“Sure. I have no questions. You just need me to sign and press my hand print, right?”
Lu XiuHua ccouldn’t wait to sign and stamp the contract before she turned to look at Fang Tian. “Where’s the money?” She sounded like she was about to tear up the contract if Fang Tian didn’t pay her right away.
Fang Tian transferred the money over to her. Lu XiuHua had on a big smile after she saw the 2,000 yuan in her WeChat account.
“Do contact me next time you need to want to have an interview. I have a lot of experience in child-rearing. I raised my few young brothers too when I was a child. All of them were healthy and active.” She added, “I can always babysit for you when you have children.”
She felt that rich people just had more money than they knew what to do with. All she needed to do was to talk some and got paid. She didn’t mind doing something like this a few more times.
Fang Tian’s lips twitched. Hire her as a babysitter? In her dreams!
The woman happily headed home with her son in toll and her luggage slung over her.
Watching Fang Tian putting the contract away, Fang JunRong asked her, “You plan to upload the interview online?”
Fang Tian nodded, “Yup. Let her have her 15 minutes of fame.”
One could not communicate with people like that. They had their own set of logic and would not change for anyone. The only way to go was to have other to help with the “communication”.
