Chapter 381 - "Are you saying that my mom only deserves to be with a man like your father?" (1)
“I could tell that she was trying to kiss up to me the entire time,” said Li XinYun. Ever since her identity as a young mistress had been exposed, more and more individuals had been trying to kiss up to her and she could pick them up easily.
She could tell which of them were after the benefits that they could gain from her.
Pausing a little, she carried on to say, “She gave me an odd feeling. Like the personality that she put up wasn’t her real personality.”Fang JunRong’s lips curved. “What are you going to do about it?”
Li XinYun said, “I want to see what her next step is, of course!” Liang AnQi was quite good at kissing up to people. She was the kind who was naïve and outgoing and made others not be able to say any harsh words to her.
Seeing that Li XinYun had her own ideas, Fang JunRong didn’t say any more.
Fang JunRong thought about the original Liang AnQi. She wondered what was the situation there. Did this Liang AnQi take over the body because the original Liang AnQi had died, or that the original consciousness was simply taken over by someone else?
If it was the latter, then she would hope that the original owner would be able to return. Putting herself in her shoes, if her body was suddenly taken over by another soul and that person had taken over her identity, taken away her friends and families, just the thought of it was enough to give her the creeps.
She pondered over it a little and decided to have someone look into Liang AnQi’s situation. Liang AnQi had always lived overseas and only returned this year. As Fang JunRong’s businesses had been expanded overseas in the last few years, she had plenty of resources that could help her out.
With her mind set, she quickly made a few calls.Three days later, a document with Liang AnQi’s information was sent to her by a friend from overseas.
Liang AnQi was 20 years old this year. Her mother Kong Shuang was a Chinese violinist who grew up overseas.
She visited China 20 years ago and met the Liang family’s Young Master Liang Hua. They two fell in love and had Liang AnQi together.
She only found out that he was already married after she had given birth to Liang AnQi and she left, bringing Liang AnQi with her.
Liang Hua had true feelings for her as well and had gifted her a few houses. The Liang family had always known about Kong Shuang mother and daughter.
Liang Hua never visited them because of his other children but he had always provided for them in terms of monthly stipend and material goods.
The Liang AnQi in the past was a quiet, somewhat reserved, and docile girl. About four months ago, Liang AnQi went boating with a few friends and fell into the water.
Because of the traumatic experience, her personality had changed since she had woken up.
Liang AnQi and her mother had always kept a distance from the Liang family and things had been peaceful over the years.
Liang AnQi, after the accident, reached out to her aunt Liang Feng proactively and became Liang Feng’s favorite niece in just a few months’ time. Liang Feng would bring Liang AnQi with her everywhere she went. Liang AnQi even applied to be an exchange student and returned to China.
Fang JunRong fell into deep thoughts. Would Kong Shuang, Liang AnQi’s birth mother, not noticed the changes with her own daughter? That was not possible.
From the investigation report that Fang JunRong had received, it had always been just the two of them and they were close with each other. It may not be that Kong Shuang failed to notice the change her daughter had exhibited but she would at most think that her daughter was possessed, not that her body had been taken over completely.
From Fang JunRong’s perspective, if anyone ever took over her daughter’s body, they would for sure be her most hated enemy.
It didn’t matter how cute or mature the transmigrator was, they were still not her daughter.
With that in mind, Fang JunRong wrote a letter in person, created a new account, and sent it over to Kong Shuang.
