A month passed, and it was time for Creige to head off. He had planned to start his training earlier, but Kana wouldn't let him. The main reason for this training was so that when he came back, he would be much stronger than he was now. He wanted to match up to his wife. He wanted to be able to protect her and his own children.

"You have to come back at least once every six months," Kana stated firmly. "I will also contact you once a day when you are not in a fight. If I see that you are in trouble, I will come and save you no matter what you say. I can't lose you no matter what."

Creige smiled helplessly. He could see Kana's eyes welling up with tears. He pulled he into a hug and agreed to everything she had to say. "I will do my best to make sure you can contact me no matter what, and I will protect my life as well. I need to go through more hardships in order to advance in both my abilities and my cultivations."

"Mmm…" Kana nodded as she pushed her nose into his chest and took a deep breath. "I created a cave for you to use as a base camp. It has everything our cultivation room has. So you can freely use it. I will also be going on a journey soon. I want to take a look at what lies below the clouds."

Creige frowned. He had heard that there was nothing below the clouds. It just went on infinitely. "Kana you have to promise not to get lost down there."

"I promise." Kana nodded. "I can always teleport home anyways so it's not like I will get stuck there. I am just going to take a look for a few days to see if there is anything interesting there."

She could just ask the old man but the excitement of adventure would be ruined if she did. She wanted to check things out for herself and see what was down there, mainly because she wanted to know if the old man was hiding any secrets.

"Then I will be off." Creige kissed Kana on the lips. The portal behind him already reflected the cave in which he would be living in. Kana had gone all out and created a very luxurious base with a full bath and even a kitchen. A bedroom and a living room. The cultivation room was the thing that had the most work done to it, and it even had mood lighting, a comfy cushion for him to sit on, and the soft wave sounds of the ocean.

When Creige stepped through the portal and saw this, he could only helplessly shake his head. But he was also thankful at the same time. He knew Kana wanted his downtime to be as comfortable as possible.

As the portal closed Kana pursed her lips. She turned to see Nancy standing there with a smile and red cheeks. "Master, I can assist you at night if you would like."

"No, it's fine. Thank you, though, Nancy." Kana waved her hand. She was used to Nancy offering to have a slumber party with her, but she did not plan to stay today anyway. Of course, the others that were there all shook their head. Rain and Angelica looked at one another and giggled. They were only now realizing that their mother was able to even move the hearts of other girls.

"I will be setting off on a journey of my own. Angelica, Rain, Yana, You girls are in charge, so make sure nothing happens to our territory. Well, not like anyone can do anything to it with the barrier I set up but just in case." Kana had made many preparations since she did not know how long she planned to be gone for.

"Mama, don't worry; we will protect what is ours." Yana patted her chest. She planned to brainwash….. Teach Tina many things about being her daughter.

"Alright, I love you, girls. I will be back soon." Kana smiled before walking out of the house. She only took three steps before turning around to see a small tail standing there. "Francessca what are you doing?"

"Hmmm? I came to spend time with you, so where you go, I go." Francessca replied honestly. "Plus, if I go home, they will just try to marry me off. I do not want to get married."

"Alright, but you know if you get lost, and I can not find you, you will be on your own, right?" Kana wanted to make it clear that she might be able to protect Francessca within the clouds. There was no telling what lay below.

"I understand," Francessca replied with a nod. She also knew this was true, but she also knew that without risks, she could not grow stronger as well. She had always been locked up in the academy or at home, so now that she had escaped, she wanted to do more things and take the risks she needed to gain more strength.

Kana sighed and waved her hand. A blue magic circle with ancient runes formed in the air before shooting towards Francessca and imprinting it between her forehead and disappearing. Francessca was not scared at all and even closed her eyes to receive whatever Kana was doing. "This is a tracking imprint. It will allow me to find you no matter what. If we get separated, stay still and do not move. I will come to you. That is unless your life is in danger. In that case, run with all you have, and I will come to rescue you."

"Hehe!" Francessca grinned and hugged Kana's arm. "I knew my bestie cared about me."

"Let go of my arm! Who are you calling your bestie!?" Kana was saying this, but she had a smile on her lips. She and Francessca got off on the wrong foot but the girl was very caring and would help anyway she could. The difference between the Francessca from before and the one now was like night and day.

Francessca stuck her tongue out at Kana before letting go of her. She took a few steps back and bowed her head. "I will be in your care bestie."

"Enough! Let's go!"
