"Ahem… Can we not get too violent here?" Another of the old men asked. He looked at the group in front of him and knew it would not be good to anger these people. He was unable to judge just how powerful they were, and the only person who had been able to escape his discerning eye was the lord himself.

"Hmm? He attacked my wife, so why are you even talking!?" Nergal had always been unruly, so hearing someone speak up for the old man angered her. However, she did not even say close to the truth of what had really happened since the person he had attacked was Camlia and not Ceilie.

"Just so you know. Both Camlia and Ceilie are my sisters, which makes them Grandpa's granddaughters as well. And Nergal here is grandpa's daughter in law. So let me ask you this…." Kana finally spoke. "What right do you have to say anything about anything in front of us?"

The three old men still standing all went quiet. They did not seem to think of that until now. "As I expected. I wish you good luck. If you wish to stay in Eden and still lord over the other families, then I suggest that you watch your actions from now on. MY sister Camlia likes to torture people, so you might want to be careful, or you will end up wishing you were dead."

With these words, Kana helped Ceilie up and walked forward with the others. Nergal made sure to swish her tails at them and even stuck her tongue out while pulling her eyelid. She hated these old men already!

After Kana and her group left, the old men stood stock, still unsure of how to handle things. Only after a while did the one on the ground finally get up with a belly full of anger. "I will fight them to the death!"

"You can't even win! They are all stronger than us! Just one of them can destroy our entire family! Did you not notice that when you were shoved to the ground just now, she only used her strength? She did not even use any magic, but her body was overflowing with it! I can't even tell just how strong those four are. Kana is one thing, but the others are different. They had all disappeared for a hundred years, but now…." Such a drastic rise in power made the old man feel jealous. "We should befriend them, and maybe we can figure out how they became so strong…."

"You are right. We should figure out how to apologize to them. If we can get the method of raising our strength to be on par with them, then we can think of plans to overthrow Eden and bring it under our control." The old men were filled with many schemes. Sadly for them, an eyeball with ears attached to the sides floated above them. Camlia, who was a distance away, snorted and began planning how she would teach these old men a proper lesson. They dared to scheme against her, the original queen of hell!? Then, she will show them what it means to anger the ruler of hell.

A large courtyard appeared after Kana and the others passed through a bamboo forest that had many colorful flowers growing alongside the path. The place was surrounded by a barrier that blocked others from ever entering. Only those whom the creator allowed could pass through unhindered. Of course, this meant nothing to Kana since she could just pass through it even if the old man wanted to keep her out.

"Grandpa, I am here!" Kana yelled out. Her voice rang across the entire courtyard.

The old man, who was half asleep lying next to a large pool of water, was so startled by the sudden loud sound that he almost jumped out of his skin and ended up falling off the bench he was lying on. "Ouch! Damn, it! Can't that girl just wake me up normally!?"

Although he complained, he had a big smile on his face as he quickly got up and adjusted his clothes. When it came to Kana, the old man lost all his opposing aura and just became a simple grandpa. He walked out to the main room where Kana was already being seated by one of the servants and smiled brightly. "Kana!"

"Grandpa!" Kana got up and gave the old man a hug. "I have come to bring your new heir and her helpers. I think you will be very happy with their changes."

"Oh?" The old man looked at Camlia with narrowed eyes before they suddenly widened. "This!? How!?"

"They battled me day and night with no option but to progress, or they would end up being beaten to the ground every time. If they slacked off, I would beat them. So they quickly grew. Camlia's strength is enough to fight me for many days on end, even in the face of my nothingness. She is someone you can count on to take over so you can retire." Kana explained.

"I see… So you are really going to this higher realm?" The old man was shocked at first when he found out about the existence of an even higher realm. But when he thought about it, it made a lot of sense. Kana was the goddess of oblivion. Someone who was born from chaos. The same thing that created life. It explained so much that had eluded him for so long.

"Yes, I will be going. I need to know my true origins. Where I truly came from. So much has happened since I was reborn. I have experienced so much. But now it is time for me to continue my journey and see where the true end is. The thing I learned most on the cultivation world was that power was the only path to allow one to protect those they hold dear. I will grow stronger. I will get so strong that even those upper realms will not be able to stand a candle to me. This is my path. I will see it to the end…."
