Reborn As A Dragon Girl With A System

chapter-1148
Kana stood four feet high as she looked at her surroundings. She looked down at her small hands and her white shirt and remembered it clearly. "Wasn't this when I first met Creige?"
Kana was slightly confused at her current state. She could have sworn she had stepped through the door of the room she was in and was ready to take on the next trial. She was starting to think everything up until now was a dream.
"Kana! Why are you standing there!?" Ceilie walked over and knelt down next to Kana, took out a piece of cloth, and began wiping Kana's face. "You have rabbit meat grease all over your face."
"Big Sister?" Kana tilted her head in confusion. "What's going on? Why are you not in Eden?"
"Eden? Where is that? We are on our way to the capital. We promised Tilia that we would take her to see the beast king." Ceilie looked at Kana with a bit of worry in her eyes. "Are you okay? Did you eat mushrooms again?""Mushrooms? I never ate such things!" Kana cried out. At least she did not remember if she had eaten such things before.
"Just the other day, you ate laughing mushrooms because they looked like meat!" Ceilie scanned Kana up and down and pursed her lips. "At any rate, you need to be careful what you stick in your mouth. You may be a dragon, but you are still young. You can't just go and eat everything you have. Not to mention, you can't just go pick up any random guy and make him your husband! What if you never see him again!? Men who would just accept any girl who forces marriage on them are no good! If he does show up again, just ignore him."
"No! Creige is very good! No one is allowed to bad mouth, my handsome husband!" Kana pursed her lips. Her handsome husband was the best!
"Alright, calm down." Ceilie let out a long sigh. She knew there was no getting through to this girl right now. "Let's go. They are waiting for us."
"Oh…" Kana nodded and followed after Ceilie. She did not know what was going on, but she felt like she had been through all of this before. She watched as Ceilie climbed into the back wagon and sat at the edge. She saw Tilia sleeping while Ceilie sat there with her eyes closed. She remembered the trip to the capital of the beast kingdom before. But what she did not remember was the people she was riding with. She never remembered using a wag all the way to the capital. After all, they stopped off in a trade town near the entrance of the beast kingdom. That was where she met Kaliffia.
"I guess this is the trial? If I am not wrong, the other me had said I would need to face parts of my past. I guess I will just play it out and see where it goes." Kana laid back on the back with her hands behind her head and looked out at the stars that were high in the sky.
The road was bumpy, and it brought back a bit of nostalgia from the days of her past. The days when she first arrived in this world were very exciting. She had been able to eat to her heart's content. She could run around and do as she pleased without a care. She met people she held so dear to her that she would give up her life for them. She fought in wars. She fell in love. She got married and had children. She played to her heart's content, and even to this day, she still continues to move as she pleases. When she finally reaches the upper realm, she will continue to do the same.
She can't be so overbearing as before, but she could at least learn and bring anew. She could go back to the days when she first arrived in this mortal world and enjoy life to its fullest.
"Kana, wake up, we are here," Ceilie shook the sleeping girl on the wagon floor. She was glad that there were only girls back here because Kana's sleep posture was not the best.
"Hmmm? What day is it?" Kana slowly opened her eyes and rubbed them gently. She looked around in confusion and quickly realized she was still in her trial.
"What do you mean, what day is it? We are about to stop for breakfast. We still have two more days before we reach the capital. Then we have to figure out how to meet the king." Ceilie replied. She was most worried about how she was going to get a foreign princess into the castle in the first place.
Kana nodded. She knew things were much different than before, so she could only take things one step at a time. She did not know what was ahead, but she did know that she wanted to see where things would leave. Since it seemed interesting, why not, right?
"Kana, can you play a game with me?" The mini Tilia walked over and sat next to Kana and leaned her head on Kana's shoulder.
"You can play after we eat." Ceilie was starting to understand why mothers aged so quickly. Kids were very tiring!
"Sure, but after we eat. What do you want to play?" Kana asked.
"How about we play hide and seek," Tilia suggested.
"I guess, but are you sure?" Kana looked around and saw nothing but grassland.
"No hide and seek. Tilia, we do not know if we are being followed. So we can not play games where you are running around. Plus, if Kana sees more mushrooms and eats them…." Ceilie was interrupted as Kana yelled: "I don't eat mushrooms!"
"You do! And it was no fun!" Ceilie remembered not being able to sleep until the damn girl stopped laughing!
"Humph! Not talking to you. Tilia, let's go get breakfast." Kana pursed her lips, grabbed Tilia by the hand, and pulled her along.
