*Roar!*

Although the huge plant monster did not have high intelligence, it still had its natural instincts. When Creige appeared, it felt an intense pressure from the man. But at the same time, it was angered by the fact that its prey that killed many of its kind had been saved before it could devour it.

"Oh, you wish to fight? Heh..." Creige sneered as she waved his hands, creating multiple fireballs in the air two times the size of the huge plant monster. With no hesitation, he sent them flying at the huge plant monster.

*Boom!*

The impact was so strong that the whole area for hundreds of kilometers shook violently. The ground around in the impact area had turned into a deep crater. But as the dust cleared, what should have been the charred remains of the huge plant monster was a large blue barrier that surrendered a perfectly unarmed huge plant monster. "Hmmm? Pretty tough… This might be a little troublesome."

Creige frowned as he waved his hand once more. The perfectly clear sky suddenly began to darken for many thousands of kilometers. Just outside the edge of the darkening clouds, one of the other students from the academy just finished off a monster with elongated arms and legs and looked up at the sky. "I have been feeling vibrations for a while now coming from that direction. I have no idea what is going on, but I hope the others are okay. The battle over there doesn't seem like anything a mortal could do..."

These were the same thoughts for the other students who were just outside the range of the dark clouds. Inside the area where the clouds were darkening, there was one young woman who frowned as she looked up at the sky. "Am I really going to get caught up in this shit!? I already ran away when I saw that damn monster appear." This young woman had actually teleported near Kana. Although she did not know the water dragon who was fighting off a bunch of plant monsters was actually Kana as she only stood by the side watching the show. But when the huge plant monster appeared, she had quickly escaped the area, no longer wanting to stay. After being caught up in a lot of the aftermath of all the destruction, she was still able to escape far enough away. But now, with the looming threat of the black clouds overhead that did not seem to be forming naturally, she felt something big was about to happen and that she needed to find cover quickly. "I will not die here!" The young woman quickly sped off in search of a place to take cover.

Back where Creige and Kana were, Creige was writing strange golden runes in the air in front of him. The huge plant monster had gone from defensive to offensive and was currently attacking Creige with everything it had. But no matter how many attacks it through at Creige, the barrier he had around him was impenetrable. "This should do it…." Creige suddenly spoke as he finished the last rune. He waved his hand, causing the runes to expand and rise up into the air. The runes merged into the clouds, making them light up and fine rays of golden light down onto the ground. "[Demon Art: Extermination]"

*Boom!*

A pillar of lightning suddenly fell from the sky following a thunderous boom of thunder. This pillar of lightning started off the width of the clouds but quickly converged on to a singular point, the huge plant monster. The huge plant monster had sensed danger and quickly erected its barrier, but it was of no use. The barrier shattered as the pillar of lightning fell onto the plant monster vaporizing it into nothingness. Creige watched as the last bits of the plant monster turned to dust in the wind before waving his hand, canceling the spell. After inspecting the area to make sure everything was over, Creige held Kana in his arms and flew over to a rocky ledge on the side of the mountain that had a cave.

"Creige..." Kana, who was quiet this entire time, finally spoke up. "Thank you once again…. It seems you are always saving me…"

"It is only natural for a husband to save his wife. You just rest. You are almost fully healed." Creige reached up and caressed Kana's cheek with a warm smile on his face. "It seems your water element is close to evolving. When you are fully healed, go ahead and evolve. I will watch over you. "

"Mmm… But Creige… how did you get here? This an entirely different realm..." Kana asked. She was very curious as to how her handsome husband was able to even reach her.

"There is no place in this universe that will keep me from coming to you when you are in danger. I would have been here sooner if not for the fact that I had to rip open time and space to reach you. Enough questions, just sleep." Creige replied. He sat down on the ground and laid Kana down beside him, keeping her head in his lap, so she had a pillow. Kana closed her eyes and began to slowly fall asleep as Creige stroked the top of her head.

"That is the final one..." Ceilie stood in the center of many dead monsters. Blood was splattered all over her. She had just fought with twenty second evolution monsters. Although she had many wounds on her body she was still smiling. "I am one level away from reaching my second evolution! Once I evolve I will head to Faegrocari."

Ceilie chopped off a leg of one of the monsters and rested it on her shoulder as she headed to her camp that she had set up in a well hidden cave. In the past five months she had suffered a great deal and almost died many times but no matter how perilous her situation had become she never gave up. Even if she was bleeding out she still did not give up. Her determination to become powerful and her promise to Kana had pushed her to her limits allowing her to progress quickly.
