Six old ladies with similar features to Kana stood high in the sky as they looked at the young girl appearing out of nowhere. "Which of us gets to test her?"

"I will do it!"

"No, I will!"

"No me!"

"You're not strong enough!"

"I'm stronger than you!"

The six old ladies glared at each other before getting into a circle facing each other, balling up their fists. "Rock! Paper! Scissors!"

"Haha, I win!"

"Damn it! I should have thrown paper!"

"Why did I pick rock!?"

"You cheated!"

"Yes, I call cheat!"

"Humph! You five are just not as good as me. Why else can none of you win against me? But to be fair, if I tested her now, she might just die. So let's do this. I will pick you."

"Me!? Yay! Hehe… It's been so long since I moved these old bones."

As for the strange conversation going on above her, Kana had no idea. She looked around her to find she seemed to be in some kind of a bamboo forest. The sounds of birds filled the air, and the fresh scent of clean air filled her nose. She put on a smile as she took in a deep breath. A gentle breeze blew by, causing Kana's hair to flutter lightly. "This place is a really refreshing sight compared to the last level."

Kana brought up her menu and looked at her stats. She wondered how much she leveled after all that.

"Let's see [Meteorite Dragon] went from level 75 to level 120. This gave me 1350 more status points combined with the 2150 I had before making 3500…. Should I use these points now…" Kana debated. She did not know if she should dump her points into her stats now or wait until she really needed them for something.

As Kana was thinking, she felt a thin shred of killing intent being directed towards her. Not wanting to become something's prey, Kana quickly dodged out of the way.

*Boom!*

"Hoho! You actually dodged! So you were able to pick up on that tiny bit of killing intent I sent towards you. Not bad. Not bad." Kana stared at the deep hole that was created just now and gulped. Because if she really did not move in time, she felt that she would have been instantly killed! But more shocking than that was the old lady walking out of the crater. Although there was dust and debris flying everywhere, her clothes were still perfectly clean. "Now then. Since you passed, you have a choice…. Learn from my sisters and me."

Kana was confused. She just said choice, did she not? Why was there only one choice? "Umm… what is the other choice?"

"Hmm? What do you mean? You can only choose to learn from my sisters and me. Is there something wrong with your head? Did you really not dodge my attack just now and was actually tossed out on impact?" The little old lady asked. She began to become suspicious of Kana.

"Sister Tu, if you act like that, she will become scared. We can't have that." A voice came down from the sky, causing Kana to look upwards. To her surprise, five more old ladies came floating down from the sky. Kana felt a strange kinship with these old ladies as she looked at them. Each one with tails like her's and wings on their backs. The only difference was the horns on their heads were slightly different.

"You are?" Kana asked. Although these old ladies were smiling at her, Kana still kept her guard up.

"We are the six sisters and the masters of this level. In order to pass on to the next level, you must train under us and master the six weapon arts. But before we can begin your training in these arts…. Bring her to the pit!"

"To the pit!"

"The pit!"

"She might die!"

"So what!"

"If she dies, so be it!"

The six old ladies began talking amongst themselves as if Kana was not even there. As for Kana, who wished she could run away, she suddenly realized she was unable to move as if some kind of invisible shackles were placed on her body. To top it off, she was even unable to speak. She had even felt Naru and Aoi being forced back into their summon space.

"Now, whose pit will she use?"

"My pit is the best! She won't die as much."

"No, no! Mine is better. She will only die a little."

"No mine!"

"Mine!"

The six oldies once again stared at each other before balling up their fist: "Rock! Paper! Scissors!"

"I win again! Ahaha!"

"Damn, I even picked paper this time!"

"Meto!"

"So did I!"

"I call cheat again!"

"Yeah, you cheated!"

"Humph! I won, so she will use my pit! I told you all before that you can never beat me!" One of the old ladies said proudly. She then turned towards Kana and waved her hand, causing Kana to float up into the air. Kana was still unable to speak or move. She could only watch helplessly as she was hauled away. Where she was being taken, she did not know. She only heard something about a pit and dying… At this moment, Kana really wished she could shed tears, but alas, even those were out of her control at this moment.

The tops of the bamboo trees passed by as they rose up into the sky. Kana was really beginning to worry about what was going to happen to her. "Hehe, little one, do not worry too much. We sisters, have been bored since no one has come to this level in a long time. What you're about to undertake will turn you from a worm who has no idea how to fight to a master of weapons and hand to hand combat. But before that you will need to strengthen your body. Levels are not the only thing needed for a good body foundation."
