Fan Ji frowned. He wanted to know why this good brother of his would not just play a proper wingman! Why did he have to go and ruin the set up! He glared at Commander Hammerson before turning back to Kana. "Miss Kana. May I speak to you?"

Kana frowned. Why was this man so instant? Why did she have to read those damn CEO novels!? Now her mind was trying to push an overbearing CEO on to her. That was when it came to her… 'What if I just kill him?' She thought for a moment and realized this might not work. As her mind was running as it would if it was a real world, she would end up losing her chance to train if she messed up. "Mister, please leave me alone. I have a husband." After saying this, Kana turned and left, not looking back. Shela couldn't care less about the others, so she went after Kana yelling, oneesama this, oneesama that.

As for Fan Ji, he was frozen in place. He stared at the purple hair that bobbed up and down with each step and the tail that swayed back and forth blankly. "Married…. Husband…." Fan Ji's eyes slowly became dark. He didn't understand it. He finally met a girl that he liked, and she rejected him so coldly, even lying to him about being married! He knew she was never married. The damn girl had just grown up over the past few months! "Heh, if you want to play it like that, then we can play. In a few months' time when I have you sent to the battlefield, you will be crying for me to come help you."

In a huff, Fan Ji stormed off, leaving a bunch of bewildered recruits and Commander Hammerson standing there. Jay the antman looked over at Commander Hammerson and asked: "What do we do now?"

"Training today is canceled. You can all go back and rest." Commander Hammerson waved his hand. He looked at his poor training field and suddenly felt hate for that damn big mouthed drill sergeant. Now he had to call the higher ups and explain things. He, of course, would leave out who caused it and blame it on a bomb someone stole.

Kana went back to her dorm room and immediately hit the showers. She ignored Shela, who kept following her around. It seemed the girl did not mind being ignored as she continued to chat away anyways. Kana didn't mind her, though. She would never push away a beastkin unless they were trying to cause her harm. She felt that maybe others were not so nice to Shela, which was why she had latched on to her. There was just one thing that bothered her, and that was...

"Oneesama, are you listening!? How can you not be interested in such things, Oneesama! Oneesama! Oneesama!" It was this way of her calling Kana that caused Kana a head ache.

"Shela, can you not call me that? It is highly annoying." Kana finally couldn't take it any more.

"Oh..." Shela's ears flopped down as she lowered her head, pouting slightly. Seeing this, Kana let out a sigh. "Fine, just call me whatever, but don't keep repeating it over and over. By the way..." Kana reached over and poked Shela's huge breasts. "How are these so big?"

Shela frowned and poked her own breast. "Those damn old men in the lab gave me some kind of pill, then the next day, I woke up with these jugs. They suck. They make my back hurt!"

"Why are they so squishy?" Kana was squeezing away at Shela's breasts while Shela was complaining about her back when two other girls walked in. "Ummm…. Are we interrupting something?"

"Huh? No, are you also staying here?" Kana turned and asked.

"Yes, I'm Amy, and this is Ren. As You can see, I am part Insect, and Rei is part Shark." Amy replied as she walked over to her bunk. "Shela, I heard a loud explosion come from the training area early. What happened?"

"Nothing much, just a stupid instructor angered Oneesama." Shela answered without giving any more details.

"Oneesama?" Amy looked at Kana, who gave her a wry smile. Amy smiled back and gave a knowing nod. "Shela is a bit out there, but she is a good girl to us halfbreeds."

"I know she is. Amy, do you know why there are so many halfbreeds here?" Kana had been wondering about this. She never had any knowledge of beastkins besides novels, so they should not show up like this in her mind.

"You didn't hear about the great fall?" Amy's eyes opened wide. "Actually, not that I think about it, many wouldn't know since it is a world government cover up. Every nation is dealing with an influx of halfbreeds appearing. You can think of us as mutants. We were all once humans. But a few years back, that all changed. There was an astronomical event that happened where the skies across the world lit up as if it was day time. The skies were changing many different colors, and the event lasted an entire month. After that news cast of people changing into a half human, half animal began to appear. The government quickly swept in and covered it all up. Calling it a rare disease. We were some of the first. Shela, Ren, and I all escaped from a lab after Shela went crazy when one of the researchers drugged her and forced himself on her. Since then, Shela has..."

"Hey! I am not nuts!" Shela yelled and pouted. But you could see her eyes were beginning to water up. It seemed remembering such a thing was very hard on her.

"Sorry Shela, that's not what I mean! You have no idea how grateful me and Ren are for helping us escape. We owe you our lives. We will always be sisters." Amy quickly tried to rectify the situation.

"Mm! Sisters for life!"
