When Kana and Dandan left the office, Dandan's happy go lucky expression disappeared. "Umm… Kana, you might not want to be friendly with me."

"Hmm? Why is that?" Kana asked, feeling a bit confused.

"Because of what I am. You may not know since you are new to the realm of gods, but I am what is called a chimera and am a failed experiment. I was created by some crazy harbringer doctor. I am not welcomed here..." Dandan felt depressed saying all this out loud, but she did not want Kana to be ostracized because of her.

Kana frowned when she heard this. She raised her hand and flicked Dandan's forehead. Dandan looked up at Kana in surprise. She saw the annoyed look on Kana's face and was about to say she could ask the dean to let someone else show her around but froze when she heard what Kana said next. "Who the hell cares about what some idiots think? If they can't see you for you, then they do not deserve to be your friend anyway. This just means they have shallow hearts. You Dandan should smile. You are a beautiful girl and have a beautiful smile. One that could steal the hearts of many boys or girls.

"Never look down on yourself and show these fools that you are not some useless piece of trash. So I will reject your offer to not talk to you. Since we exchanged names, we became friends, and I do not have a habit of ditching my friends." Kana said with a smile before turning around and began walking away: "Dandan, you still have a job to do, so make sure you do it well."

Dandan, who had tears welling up in her eyes, was so stunned she forgot to react for a minute. But when she came back to her senses, a big smile formed on her lips as she ran after Kana. "Sorry, I will do my job well!"

Kana saw the smile on Dandan's face, a true smile, not the fake one she was giving her before, and smiled back as she said: "Good!"

Dandan was very thorough with her tour of the academy. She knew every inch of the place and had good knowledge of each section. Sadly there was not a single forging class which caused Kana to pout a little, but just knowing she could still do it at home was enough. Other than that, she did find an interest in some of the painting classes. She had never done art before, so she was not sure how good she was at it, but she figured it wouldn't hurt to try.

One of the classes she couldn't wait to take though was the class that talked about divinity and what it does. Because she was late on such subjects as they looked around, Dandan gave her a simple explanation about divinity.

Divinity was basically how strong a god or goddess's power was. The more divinity one had, the stronger they were. This did not in any way affect someone's actual level or evolution. It was like a separate strength that was closely intertwined with the system. Your ranking from a lower god to a named god to higher ranks like a high god or supreme god had a lot to do with one's power and level. While normally this took on an evolutionary state. Kana, who had become a named god without actually evolving to be a lower god first, was an exception to the rule that governed the realm of gods.

She was given respect because of the type of god she was. Her evolution and her divinity were now completely separate, meaning she had to raise both. Her divinity could grow stronger by the second and still grow as strong as the top of the realm of gods. But she would never evolve past being a goddess. She would never step into the higher plane. So in order for her to get to that higher plane, she will still need to either find treasures with a strong element in them or an elemental. She would prefer to have an elemental since they could evolve and fight alongside her as well. Plus, she liked having extra little friends at her side.

As the two were walking down the hall a group of girls suddenly stood in front of them. Dandan frowned seeing this girl. Her name was Gisel Tansen, and she was from a high ranking clan with many high gods. "What do we have here? Dandan why are you not on your knees and shining my shoes when you see me?"

Dandan was about to do as she was told and began to lower her body but when she remembered Kana's words she stood back up and straightened her back: "Gi-Gisel don't go too far!"

Gisel seemed stunned when Dandan suddenly talked back to her like that. But this surprise quickly turned to anger as she crossed her arms across her chest and stared daggers at Dandan. "You dare talk back to me? Do I need to teach you another lesson!?" Gisel raised her hand and swung out at Dandan to slap her face but Gisel suddenly felt a sharp pain in her wrist before her hand could even reach Dandan.

"You! Who are you!?" Gisel had completely ignored Kana this entire time. But when she finally took a good look at her her face turned sinister. "Let go of me little bitch!"

Kana tilted her head to the side and tightened her grip, a cracking sound could be heard echoing throughout the hall. She didn't say a word back. She looked at the slowly healing black eye and knew this was one of the girls who kept trying to sneak into her property. In other words this woman in front of her was one of the ones trying to get her Handsome Husband to take them in as a concubine. Just thinking about it made Kana even more angry.

"Ahhhh! Let go! Let GO! My wrist!"
