Kana pursed her lips but did not reject his offer. She walked over to him and let him lead the way. She stayed a few steps before him, watching his broad back and listening to every word he said. "This whole floor is designated for you and me only. Around the corner are the personal servants' rooms. Each one has their own room and bathroom. I do not wish to treat the people that help me live every day poorly.

"Down the hall that way is a separate kitchen for the servants to do as they please. They can cook anything they want in there, and it is always stocked. The only rule is that it must be kept clean at all times. There is also a recreation room as well for them to sit back and relax in their down time. It is equipped with a library and a few board games as well. They, of course, can go out to the town just outside the castle if they so choose.

"Down this way, we will find a guard room. This is not as nice as the servants' rooms, but this is because they work on shifts and can return home after their shift." Ar'en continued to explain each room and what it was for. Kana listened to each of his words and committed them to memory. She was quite amazed at how well things were thought out. Not a single person was mistreated. Even the lowliest jobs were set up in a way that they would be rotated, so not one single person was stuck doing something like cleaning the bathroom day after day.

When they walked to the end of one of the hallways, the area opened up to a large indoor garden. Kana instantly took to this and stopped to look at some of the flowers. "You like them?"

"Mmm. They are beautiful. One day I wonder if I will be able to touch a flower without it withering away." Kana sighed. She was not talking literally. She could easily touch the flowers in front of her. She was already doing it as she spoke. She was referring to the curse that she felt she carried.

Ar'en frowned and knelt down next to her. He reached over and grabbed her hand and held it in his. "If you were cursed, would I not have been dead a long time ago? Kana, you have only experienced misfortune due to some coincidences. I am proof that you are not cursed."

Ar'en lowered his head and kissed the back of Kana's hand, causing her to blush. Flustered, she quickly took back her hand and stood up."You are too perverted for you to be cursed."

"Haha!" Ar'en let out a laugh as he took Kana's hand into his one more. This time interlocking his fingers with hers. "Then doesn't that mean I can hold your hand as much as I want and never worry?"

Kana pouted and regretted saying her words just now. But she did not try to take her hand back, instead, she lowered her head and blushed. Ar'en smiled and pulled her along as he began showing her the rest of the castle. All the servants that they walked by smiled and bowed their heads in greeting. Word had spread many years ago that their king was courting his wife. And now, he was happily walking around with her hand in hand. This, of course, would spread like wildfire.

As the two walked hand in hand, Kana couldn't help but smile a little. This was the man she loved after all, and she had dreamt of holding his hand like this as well. But she never dared to do such a thing because she was afraid he would be cursed otherwise. But after hearing that maybe those things were just coincidences, she wondered if this could be true. She decided to allow herself a bit of happiness and believe in Ar'en words. If things ended up the same as before and Ar'en lost his life, she would end her own life to follow after him.

Ar'en was extremely happy that his beloved was willing to walk hand in hand with him. He would not push it further than this for the time being. He was too afraid of scaring her away if he did. But he was determined to show her that she was not cursed, and he hoped he could do so little by little.

When Kana returned to her room, Trez was smiling away. Kana pursed her lips and asked: "What?"

"Nothing!~ I just heard you and His Highness were walking around hand in hand. That the two of you walked all over the place showing your intimate love for one another." Trez answered teasingly.

Kana blushed and ran to the bed and hid under the sheets. She couldn't handle such teasing. Trez smiled brightly. She felt that Kana was very cute. But she was also happy. She would rather Kana to be like this than how she was before. She walked over to the bed and sat down on it, and asked: "Sooo… Did you have a good time?"

Kana peeked her head out from under the covers and nodded her head. "Mmm… This place is beautiful."

"You know it was never like this before. Everything here came about because of you. Before, things were never managed in such a way. But you changed his highness. Because of you, things around here changed. Not so much for us servants but the castle itself. There were never gardens or anything else like that. His Highness spent a long time researching for a way to grow plants inside the castle and have them not wither away. Of course, he would kill me if I said this, so don't tell him." Trez joked. She found Kana to be very easy to talk with. As someone who was to be queen Kana was perfect. No servant would think differently on this aspect. Because of her, His Majesty seemed to finally break out of his normal cold emotionless self. Because of her, new life was instilled into His Majesty. Trez could not ask for more.
