The whole village was silent. Not a single person spoke up. Kana was starting to get annoyed that no one was stepping forward. "Do not think I am stupid enough to think that this disgrace of a human is actually your village elder. Who is in charge of this village, or do I need to start making others feel the same pain he is right now?"

"Wait! No need to get violent. I am in charge of the village. The man you are holding is in my son." An older man walked out from a side road with what looked like a deer on his back. He looked at Kana and then at this son who was howling in pain and asked: "Little Lizard, can I ask what my son did to deserve such treatment?"

"Nothing much. He only tried to force himself on my friend Melinda. She has a young daughter and has it hard enough as it is. Does your son need to bring his disgusting genes to her house and try to do that in front of a little girl? Sir village elder man, let me tell you this now. If your son goes anywhere near Melinda's house again, I will chomp off his head and spit it on your dinner table. Melinda is a kind woman doing what she can for her child. She does not need any more hardships. Also, if anything happens to her or her house, I will see it as everyone's here responsibility and hold you all accountable for it. Young and old, I do not care." Kana was not going to let her newfound friends be harassed any longer. She planned to stay with Melinda for a while and would make sure she is safe.

"You talk big for an oversized lizard but are you really able to back up your words?" Gary's father asked as he put the deer on his back down and readied his axe. But before he could even take a step forward, he found himself face first in the rocky ground. His nose instantly broke as it slammed off a large stone.

"I will not say it again. If anything happens, I will make you all accountable do you understand?" Kana's voice filled with killing intent felled Gary's father's ears. His whole head was being held down by Kana's right paw. "I am being nice and only giving you all a warning now. Do not try me."

"I-I understand… We won't bother the woman and her child..." Gary's father gritted his teeth as he said this. He couldn't believe he was being man handled by a damn lizard. But he knew he could never fight against it since he never even saw it move before he was face first in the dirt!

"It's good that you all understand. Now then, I will be raiding your house for furniture as compensation. You see, because you all are heartless, a single mother with no other means of survival was forced to sell everything she owned just for medicine for her child." Kana said as she stood up.

"What!? That can't be! I sent my so… That bastard no wonder..." Gary's father yelled out but stopped himself.

"Umm, Miss Lizard? Gary's father is actually not a bad man. He did indeed send medicine up to Miss Melinda, but Gary, he probably…." An old woman spoke up for Gary's father.

"I see... So most of her suffering all this time was due to that man. Gary's father, I will leave you to discipline him, or else I might chomp his head off sooner." Kana snorted before walking down the street and stopping to look at an old man. "Which house is his?"

s

"T-The one at the end." The old man stuttered over his words.

"Mmm, thanks!" Kana nodded and continued down the street. She kicked the door down that was locked and began ransacking the house of everything she felt was useful. She piled it all up in a large pile on top of a blanket, tied the blanket before stacking furniture on top of that. "Hmmm… This won't fit through the door… Well, they are fit men. They can just fix the front of the house."

Kana kicked the walls to the front of the house down, causing part of the roof to cave in. All the villagers stared in disbelief at how brutal this lizard was. What shocked them even more, was the big pile of things it was carrying in its little paws! The lizard only stood about four feet tall on its hind legs, but here it was carrying a stack of things ten times its size!

Kana paid no attention to the stares of the villagers as she made her way back to Melinda's house. "Mel, it's me. Come help me bring things in."

s

"Huh?" Melinda peaked out her window only to see a huge pile of things, some of which she recognized! She quickly ran outside to see half the stuff she was forced to sell sitting in her front yard! "Kana, this is!?"

"Oh, I asked for compensation for what happened, and they were nice enough to let me take what I pleased. Oh, wait, go ahead and bring what you can in. I forgot something in the village." Kana suddenly disappeared, leaving a blank faced Melinda to try and figure out what was actually going on.

Gary's father was finally climbing up off the ground and was going to go pick up the deer he had killed when suddenly the white lizard appeared in front of him, spun around, and smacked him on the face with its tail, sending him flying back a few meters before picking up the deer and disappearing again. "Damn, lizard!" Gary's father was so angry he couldn't help but curse out loud. But it seemed he was too fast to say such things because Kana suddenly reappeared in front of him and smacked him in the face again with her tail before disappearing again. The whole scene was witnessed by the villagers, leaving them all stupefied and at the same time trying hard not to laugh!

When Kana returned to Melinda's house, Melinda looked at the large deer Kana was carrying and asked: "This is?"

"Oh, the village elder was nice enough to give this to me too!"
