--AN) Only one extra long chapter today.--

After Kana and her family left the mystic realm, she waved her hand causing the whole air space in the area to vibrate as it began to crystallize into a crystal orb that quickly shrunk down and landed in Kana's outstretched palm. "With this, we will have a mobile home."

Creige, who was standing next to Kana, smiled and pulled her close. "I will go back now. I will see you in a few nights?"

Kana looked up at her Handsome Husband and nodded her head. "Mmm…" She stood on her tiptoes, threw her arms around his neck, and kissed his lips, her tail wagging back and forth as she did.

The two spent a few minutes saying their goodbyes before Creige tore a hole in space and left. Kana stood there in the middle of the valley and pursed her lips. She felt slightly lonely now that Creige was gone, but she knew she would see him soon. "I should prepare to bring some things to Big Sister Ceilie…." With this thought in mind, Kana tore a hole in space and left, but before she did, she flicked the crystal orb in her hand with her finger, sending in a steam of her power before storing it away.

Within the mystic realm, thirty people suddenly fell to the ground, both men and women. They died instantly with no known cause to those who saw it. These people were all people who yelled out certain things earlier during the match between their clan ancestor and Creige….

In a ghostly palace sitting on a couch, a black haired cat girl was kicking her feet up into the air. "Nyahahahahaha! Ceilie, this novel is amazing."

"Nergal, you need to get to work!" Ceilie looked at her wife and sighed. After things had slowed down a bit, Nergal had gone from work mode to lazy mode, and now work was piling up again.

"But we just did like a few hundred years' worth of work! I can't do anymore!" Nergal whined as she hugged the book in her hands and flopped over onto her stomach. "I will just read about my Lexy-chan and live a life in another world!"

"Who is Lexy!? No, never mind. Put the novel down and get to work!" Ceilie walked over and went to pick Nergal up, but Nergal latched on to the catch as if her life depended on it.

"Nooooooo! I will ready Lexy-chan" Nergal cried out but was eventually pried from the couch and dragged into the office, but she still held onto the book for dear life.

"Why are you acting out the character in the novel? Stop that!" Ceilie did not know whether to laugh or cry. While she did find it slightly cute, she did not wish to be stuck doing all the work alone!

"You don't find it cute?" Nergal asked as she looked at Ceilie with big round eyes. She moved up to her and rubbed her body against hers. "Not even a tiny bit cute?"

"Alright, it's cute, but Nergal, I need your help!" Ceilie replied as she reached out and scratched the cat girl's ears. Nergal grinned and purred as she hugged Ceilie.

"Alright. Let's get this done." Nergal said as she went into work mode. She only wanted to play around a bit since she did not get to do it much. Ceilie and her were locked in the palace so that their souls would stay firm and so that they would not end up getting absorbed by bigger, stronger souls. There were many powerful souls in the land of the dead, and one had to be careful to not become a victim of soul consumption.

While Angelica had banned such a practice, there were many who still did it in secret, trying to become more powerful. Of course, this did come at a cost. If they were caught, their souls would be used to feed the river of reincarnation. They did not have the chance for reincarnation, they were completely consumed even if the river of reincarnation was full at that time.

The steady stream of souls into the land of the dead never stopped. And those who tried their luck, even knowing they might never reincarnate, was never ending. So the river of reincarnation never ran out of souls to keep it going.

"Why does our niece put such a heavy burden on us?" Nergal asked as she looked at the stack of papers in front of them.

"She is with Kana trying to grow more powerful. Once Kana is able to wield her life element, we will all be able to live together again. Although I do wonder who will take over our jobs once we do get a rebirth, I guess you could call it." Ceilie had no idea how long it would take to return to the world of the living, but she also did not mind her current life, even though it was very tiring some days with all the work. She had her silly cat girl wife at her side, so she could say she was fairly content with her current life. But she still wished to return to the world of the living so she could be with everyone again. She also wished to have a family of her own as well.

"This is true…. Although Angelica can probably just split herself to do the work." Nergal replied with pursed lips.

"That is true…. But then again, we were the ones who offered to do this for her so she could have her full strength to work hard on powering up. As her aunts, we need to support her as best as we can." Ceilie did not mind helping out because it would allow them to stay busy and safe at the same time. The Ghost Empress's palace was actually quite comfortable and was a soul's dream as it did strengthen the souls who lived here. So for Ceilie and Nergal, who had been here for such a long time, their souls were quite strong. But sadly, it was not a method that was quick. Soul consumption was actually far quicker at strengthening one's soul, but it came with the side effects of turning into a monster.

"What you said is true! Ahhh! I want to be on vacation forever." Nergal cried out as she stretched her arms and legs at the same time and put her face on the desk in front of her.

"We will soon have a chance, I am sure. Once Kana is ready." Ceilie knew Kana would never forget about them. She knew that Kana was also trying to become more powerful so she could finally have the power to do what she promised.

"Mmm… I know." Nergal sat up and smiled as she began flipping through the paperwork in earnest.

Back on Kana's side, she stood there in a ghostly field, looking around, scratching her head. "How did I get here?"

She recognized the place she was in. Because she had been here before, it was the same spot she popped out of when she went through the trial on the mortal plane. But she did not understand why she would come here when she tried to arrive at the castle. Scratching her head, she opened another tear in space to where Angelica was. "Mama?" Angelica, who was now relaxing after a bath, looked at the tear in front of her and watched as her Mama's head popped through it.

"Angelica, I am in the land of the dead, but it wouldn't let me go directly to the castle," Kana complained.

"Ah! I forgot to mention that there is a kind of barrier around the castle, and only I can come and go as I please there. Do you want me to bring you to the castle?" Angelica asked. The land of the dead was different from the living world, so some of the barriers were only able to be adjusted by the ruler of the realm.

"Hmmm… No, I want to look around. I am coating my living body with a thin layer of my soul, so I can walk around without any issue." Kana replied.

"Okay, but be careful. If your soul begins to feel a strong pull on it, leave right away." Angelica warned.

"I will. See you later!" Kana smiled as she pulled her head through the tear in space and closed it.

Angelica smiled as she stared at the space in front of her. "I wonder how Aunty Ceilie and Aunty Nergal will react when they see Mama walking around in her real form."

Angelica could tell them their Mama was there, but she decided to leave it as is because it seemed her Mama had purposely concealed her power to not allow those who were strong enough to detect it. "I will monitor the situation, and when Mama is about to enter the castle, I will take a peek so I can see their reactions!"

Angelica smiled broadened when she thought of how surprised those two will be. She knew that her Aunty Ceilie really missed her Mama. And now that they had a bit of time to relax, it was a good time for a reunion like this. In a good mood, Angelica opened up a scroll and began reading it.

"Miss…. Please, you just bathed in our sect's spiritual spring, and now you are reading our sect's techniques! Please leave!" The old man, who looked bruised and battered, was on his hands and knees, wondering why this devil came to his sect. She had kicked everyone out of the spiritual spring and put a barrier around it so no one could look inside, and now she was lounging around the sect's forbidden library, reading the techniques only a few people were allowed to learn!

Angelica frowned as she glanced at the old man and asked: "Can you be quiet, or do you want to be thrown out again?"
