Bass left angrily, having not just lost 20 thousand Fire coins, but also the weapon he owned. He wanted to attack Ning, and destroy his shop, but if he did so right now, it would only come to backfire.

He needed to wait, just for a while. He needed to wait so people didn't have any reason to place the suspicion back on him when the shop went up in flames a few days later.

The next few days, Ning worked hard in making the weapons that the Mayor had requested of him. They were easy weapons to make, but it took some time. He wanted to make them the best he could, so he had to work hard for it.

On top of that, with the shop's artifacts getting lower and lower in amount, he needed to make more of it. Rova wanted to make some too, but she had to work at the front of the shop.

She couldn't help him in this case.

Ning sighed. Maybe it was time to bring someone else into the mix. He would have to think about it. He didn't want to bring just anyone in, but he also didn't want to leave Rova to have a terrible time with the purchase.

Maybe they could automate it? No, there was no such system here. If he started automating such a thing, that would bring confusion and questions.

Better to leave it be as it was.

Rova came from the front. "Boss, aren't we leaving?" she asked.

"No, WE are not leaving. I am leaving," Ning said and put into his storage the staff he had just made.

"What do you mean?" Rova asked. "I have to be there to watch you in the Arena."

"I'm afraid the shop has grown just that much more, so I cannot let you come," Ning said. "You'll have to stay behind and take care of the shop. Isn't that what you joined the shop for?"

Rova frowned. "I told you we need more people," she said.

"That we do," Ning said with a sigh. "I'll be going alone today. Ask Umbra if any help is needed."

Rova nodded in resignation. It seemed she wasn't going to see what weapon was being sold today. She would know later on.

Ning went to the Arena and showed off his weapon in a simple battle. Even his opponent seemed to welcome him and give him ample opportunities to show what he wanted.

Ning's weapon was simple and yet at the same time a terribly strong artifact when it came to combat.

It was a silver staff with the power to create a small fist opening in space that could create another opening of the same size anywhere in a 500-meter radius. A simple stabbing motion from 100 meters away, was now suddenly capable of striking straight into a person's heart.

A Spear that transcended Space.

Even without looking at the cheering people, Ning knew this spear was going to gain him a lot of money.

"Its a 1000 Fire coins to all 6 of us together if we just burn the building down," a man spoke in a low voice inside an abandoned building. He held in his hand a piece of paper and in his other hand a small pouch with 300 Fire Coins. An advance for a job where the rest would come after the job was done.

The piece of paper wrote their mission and their target.

"And 1000 Fire coins for any of us that manage to kill the man himself," the man finished. "I suppose you don't need to see what he looks like?"

"I think we all have seen what he looks like. He's hard to miss when he's the talk of the town on most nights. Those tavern whores won't shut up about them," one of the other men said.

"So are we doing this boss?" a shorter man asked.

"1000 Fire coins… just for burning a building," the man said. "That sounds good enough. We won't go after the man though. I have a terrible feeling it won't go well."

"He's just a man, boss. And we're 6," another man said.

"Who knows what sort of artifact that bastard has," the shorter man said. "It will be better to take caution. No attacking the man. Just arson and run."

"Are we all in agreement?" the boss asked.

"Yes," the remaining 5 answered in unison.

"Let us go then."

Unbeknownst to the 6, they weren't the only ones making their way to Heeran's love at the moment.

Despite being close to midnight, the Mayor's manor remained bright with many people standing outside in waiting.

A beautiful carriage arrived through the gates, coming all the way to the front of the house before stopping.

A man with a confident stride walked out of the carriage once the door opened and walked out. Behind him, 3 women walked out as well. One of the girls had red hair, another had blonde hair, and the final one surprisingly had white hair, despite the youthfulness her face showed.

"Welcome, High lord Randal, ladies" the Mayor gave a bow. "It is our utmost honor to have the four of you in my house. I hope your journey was easy."

"Easy?" the girl with the red hair scoffed. "We were attacked by bandits 3 times, and were stuck in a long carriage slog because the roads were muddy due to the rain."

"Bayona," the young man said softly, holding her hand intimately. "It's alright." The young handsome man turned around and looked toward the Mayor.

"I'm sorry our journey took time and we made you wait for us until midnight. I hope you accept our apologies," the young man said.

"No, no, no," the mayor said quickly. "I'm sorry about the infrastructures of our cities instead. Please come on in."

The young man nodded and was about to take a step in when he heard something deep within in head.

The young man smiled. "This might just turn out fun then."
