Braval woke up with a blaring pain to the side of his head as well as a bunch of incoherent sounds of what sounded like people speaking.

"As long as you target them they get hit with nausea and migraine? Damn, no wonder this bastard has been able to kill so many people without anyone realizing," a voice said. "Wh... who?" he called, but his voice was too soft for anyone to hear him. Looking around, he noticed five people on a table next to him, looking at something he could not see.

"But he had to concentrate on the people who he considers a target," Jasmine spoke. "I was right in doing what I did. Giving him too many targets helped him lose focus on Tim, who got the dog to bite the guy!"

"You did good," Ning said and looked toward Braval. "Oh, you're awake, Mr. Serial killer."

"Who are you? What are you doing to me?" Braval asked, trying to stand up only to realize that he had been tied to the chair he was sitting in.

"Don't worry, we will resolve this in a few moments," Galamor said and turned toward the Book of Treasures that wrote about the gun.

"This book is incredible, truly. How did you guys come across this?" he asked the group.

"I had it for a while before I decided to give it to Tim," Ning said with a shrug. "I can't tell you where I got it from."

"Okay, I won't question," Galamor said. "I will question something else though."

He held the gold and silver gun in his hand and looked at the group. "What do we do with this?"

Ning thought for a moment. "It depends. Will it be useful at all? A bonded treasure needs its owner to die before it can be used by someone else," he said.

"With the crimes he has committed, it is very much likely he will be executed," Galamor said. "We just need to hear his confession."

"No... no!" Braval shouted. "Don't kill me. I beg of you."

"Beg harder," Ning said and took a chair to sit by the man. "And while you beg, tell me why you like killing people so much. What sorry excuse do you have to become a serial killer? Also, who were you planning to kill this time around? Surely you didn't come to Airan without any planning."

"No, I've never killed anyone. I don't know what you are talking about," Braval said.

"Hmm," Ning thought for a bit. "Tim, bring the book over."

Tim gave a surprised look and quickly brought the Book of Treasures over to Ning, placing it in front of him on the table.

Ning spun the book around so the man could read it.

He saw 'Bullet of Migraine' written on the page. He only read a couple of sentences when he realized he could see his name on the list.

"This is the Book of Treasures that tells you everything about every treasure it comes into contact with. That includes the owner of said treasures and what he did with it."

Ning pointed to the line where it wrote the names of people who had been killed by Braval using this gun.

"We have the names of everyone you killed," Ning said. "You cannot try to talk your way out of this. Even if you can somehow convince us that you are not who we think you are, there is a treasure with the Cardinal of Life that can force you to speak the truth. So, it is better if you don't claim that you aren't who we think you are."

Braval gulped and looked down at the page.

"Now, I want you to explain this to me," Ning said, pointing to a line on the page, "why you killed only the people who were related to the church. It almost feels like you have a vendetta against them."

"I... I..."

The man looked at the names and remembered the faces those names belonged to. Remembering, he felt the anger grow inside of him.

"They deserved to die," he said softly. "Anyone who follows Zurinus deserves to die."

His head snapped around, staring at the paladin. "You all deserve to die the most horrible death imaginable. I will pray for nothing but misery on you all."

Saying as much, Braval slammed his head on the table in front of him a few times until he lost consciousness.

The few people gathered around the table looked around with confused looks.

"What was that all about?" Jasmine asked.

Tanaya walked up from the side. "We should get him to the police station to get him to confess. Sir Galamor, you should deal with this quickly. The sooner we can tell everyone about his capture, the sooner the world can go back to feeling safer."

Galamor thought for a moment and nodded.

"I will leave. Sir Ning, I will talk to my father about meeting you. If he agrees, which I think he will, I will contact you," Galamor said.

"He will have to agree. I helped you guys capture a serial killer and all," Ning said.

"I will make sure they know that," Galamor said and turned to leave. However, before he walked away, he looked around. "Where's the gun?"

Tim was about to hand it over when Ning grabbed it from him. "I have decided to keep the gun," Ning said.

Galamor was taken aback a little. "I... suppose you earned it," he said. "Do you really need it though?"

"No," Ning said. "It's not that useful of a treasure for us. However, just because its effect is useless, doesn't mean the treasure is either."

Galamor was confused. "What do you mean?" he asked.

"Tell your Cardinal of Coins that I will give this gun to him when he comes to meet me, preferably in the same meeting as when I meet your father," Ning said. "Until then, I will be keeping it. Goodbye!"
