"Drink this and absorb it," Ning said as he handed her a bit of his Aether liquid. Merasi had fought with him for a while and used up a good chuck on her Aether reserves.

He couldn't send her to fight not one, but two Aether Supremes while at a disadvantage.

Merasi saw the glistening dark purple liquid in front of her, and her hands slowly moved forward towards it without even thinking.

Ning let her grasp it and slowly opened the vial of Aether liquid. Like taking a shot, she downed the entire vial in a single motion.

The guard outside looked in horror as he saw it all. As an Aether artist, he would recognize Aether no matter what form it was in.

"You good?" Ning asked after a while, to which Merasi nodded. Then, Ning took her hand.

Merasi looked as Ning grabbed her hand. She could see the cramped prison walls and the terrified-looking guard outside of it.

The next moment, she was in a large, open room with a high ceiling and deep blue walls with a lot of light.

"What?" she shouted in surprise at the sudden change in location. What was going on? Had she been teleported?

"We've got company," Ning said while looking at something that Merasi didn't see.

So, she immediately turned around to find her sister and subordinates tied up to some chairs.

Mercy's eyes propped up with relief when she saw her sister. She tried to speak but there was a metal chain wrapped around her face on top of a cloth to gag her from speaking.

There were tear stains on her cheeks and even Ning started feeling heat in his eyes.

Alekor had a swollen face, likely from getting hurt when trying to escape. Similar to Mercy, he too was wrapped around in metal chains, which was likely enforced with Aether to stop them from leaving.

Silvers on the other hand had given up already and was slumped on the chair.

Merasi's eyes blazed with fury when she saw the three of them and her eyes slowly drifted towards the right corner of the room where a small man was sitting on a chair with an unpleasant face.

"How the hell did you get in here? Why did no one notify me?" Tristan said with a frown on his face.

"You dare tie up my sister?" Merasi got angry all of a sudden and got ready to attack.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk! Don't get hasty. They are still my hostage, you know?" Tristan said.

"Can you deal with him?" Ning asked from behind Merasi.

"Yeah, he's easy to deal with, but I will need your help with saving my sister," Merasi said.

"Don't worry about your sister for now," Ning said. "I can save her easily. Worry about defeating him and then going to fight Jason, can you do that?"

Merasi's eyes shook a little. "He will be easy, but Jason… he… Jason will be a little harder," she said.

"You don't have to fully think of defeating them, Just keep them busy while the other guy takes gets the lord busy," Ning said.

Merasi didn't answer but nodded.

"What are you two ta—" Tristan was halfway through his words when Ning vanished. He quickly turned his head around to look at where he could have possibly gone.

And only then did he notice that his 3 hostages had gone as well.

"You really dared to try and take my subordinates as your hostage huh? You've grown some balls, Tristan," Merasi said with her hands crossed over her chest.

"Tsk," Tristan couldn't help but feel angry. He didn't even notice when his hostages were taken away. And now, he had to fight with a battle maniac.

He had chosen the task of looking after the hostage because it was the one that took the least bit of work.

All he had to do was threaten Merasi into following the lord's orders with the threat of her sister and subordinates, but even before that could come into play, they were gone.

Merasi's eyes shined with a glimmer of excitement, as well as hatred. 'How the hell did I end up in this situation?'

In a dash, Merasi shot off from where she stood, leaving cracks on the floor where she stood. This was not one of the training grounds that were specially reinforced to sustain heavy fights.

This was just a normal floor.

As he thought that, Tristan enforced himself, bracing for an attack. At the same time, he noticed some sort of gravity manipulation happening behind him.

He wanted to close it, but the juggernaut in front of him wouldn't let him. When Merasi struck Tristan, he felt the force of a mountain slam onto him.

He tried to stand his ground, but the ground was too weak for him. It easily got crushed beneath him and he was pushed back towards the gravity well behind him.

He was worried about something happening. However, when he did touch the gravity well, he realized that it was a portal that sent him elsewhere.

When he came out of the portal, he could see nothing but a bright sun in a clear sky, and trees beneath him.

Tristan looked around, but he didn't recognize the place at all. "Where are we?" he asked out loud.

Merasi's grin widened. "A place where we can fight to our content."

"You crazy bitch!" Tristan cried out and created a massive spear in his hand. With the force of an enforced Supreme body, she sent the spear flying at Merasi.

The spear went straight for her head. She could even feel gravity attracting her head toward the spear tip.

With a flick of her hands, Merasi cleared the gravity on the spear and twisted her neck at the last moment.

At the same time, she reached out the spear and grabbed it by the shaft as it flew next to her.

She hefted the spear in her hands and looked at the sharp spearhead as well as the excellently durable spear body.

"You were going for the kill, weren't you?" she asked. "Good. Makes me feel better now that I will get to kill you."
