Reincarnated as an Energy with a System

chapter-704
Ning didn't go into the spaceship again. Instead, he hung around the outside and looked at it fully.
"I don't see any name," he said out loud.
<Would you like to learn the ship's name?>
"No," Ning said. "Instead, can you fix the whole ship? Return everything back to the way it was when first made? Throw everything that wasn't here into the ocean."
<Yes>The damaged ship shined for a moment before turning back to how it was previously.
Ning had to step back as metal arms appeared in places where they were ripped off.
Ning took a few steps back and saw the whole ship finally.
It was a long ovaloid capsule-like ship, fully silver-white in color. It was completely smooth from start to finish with glass windows only at the front.
The tentacle-like arms hung out from the midpoint of the ship and there were exactly 14 of those.
The back of the ship seemed to be the small end of the ovaloid ship, and that was where the fuel output was.
"ZSS Unity III, huh?" Ning thought as he read the words that were written on the side of the ship. "So that's the name?"He looked at it for a bit and put on a confused face. "Hey system, what does ZSS stand for?" he asked.
<Zypherion Survey Ship>
"Zypherion… I think I know this name. What is it again?" he asked.
< It's the name of a planet. The place where this ship was made>
"Ah, right. I saw it in the star chart," Ning thought. He quickly opened the star chart and suddenly everything around him changed to look like the solar system he was in.
He saw planet Nulwurn, a blue gem floating through space. He saw its two moons revolve around it, always opposite to each other.
He saw the sun of this system, and beyond the sun another planet.
Ning willed the planetary system to shrink and it did. He shrunk it until the sun was but a tiny little star in the vast cluster of stars that was this galaxy.
"Where is the planet exactly?" he asked the system.
The star chart zoomed in until he saw a planet, that wasn't so blue, towards the center of the Galaxy.
"So this is the planet huh? This ship was made there?" Ning asked.
<yes>
"How far is this place from here? What the hell were they even doing here?" Ning was slightly confused.
<It is approximately 4500 lightyears away from here>
'So far away,' Ning thought.
"What were they even doing here?" he asked as his eyes moved slightly to look at something that had light coming off of it, but there wasn't anything on it.
He was distracted immediately. As he saw the bright ring around the giant object and felt a deep chill inside of him.
Even without asking the system, he could tell that he was staring deep into a black hole.
'They live near a black hole?' Ning thought when he saw that there was maybe a few light-years of distance between Zypherion and the black hole.
<They were here to survey the planet and see if life was advanced enough to join their federation union>
Ning was jolted back from his thoughts as the system answered his previous question.
"A federation? They were here to search for new recruits?" Ning shook his head when he thought about it.
These people had yet to go through industrialization, let alone be modern and then become capable of space travel.
"Wait, if there is a federation and these people are scouting for planets to join their ranks then… how many planets are there that are capable of space travel?" Ning asked.
<Currently, there are 92 total planets in this galaxy that are capable of space travel.>
"That's… not a lot," Ning thought. Given how large the galaxy was, he would've assumed a lot more.
"Alright, now let's go see how this ship is even capable of space travel," Ning thought and walked towards the…
"Wait, how do I get in?" he searched around, but there was no opening to enter.
<The ship has an entrance on its underbelly that will only show itself once it is turned on>
"Turn it on then."
The ship suddenly came to life as it started glowing all around. The arms around the ship moved and clawed onto the ground as they hovered the ship about 5 meters away from the ground.
Then, a section at the bottom of the ship opened up.
It was towards the back of the ship, so Ning climbed up the stairs to some sort of cargo area.
"Give me a map of the ship," Ning said and he was immediately given a structure of the ship.
The ship was split into 3 different parts.
The front third of the ship was the control area. That was where they controlled the ship, and had medical stations, battle stations, and other things.
The middle third of the ship was for resting and storage. The cryo chambers were also in this place. Other than that, there were recreation rooms where people could have fun during the voyage.
Finally, the third half was where the fuel was stored for the thrusters, as well as the Space Drive was located.
The ship needed a lot of fuels that were used to start moving the ship in a certain direction or change direction itself.
The real bulk of the travel was handled by the thing known as Space Drive.
Ning turned to look towards and door and knew if he went through, he would see it.
So, he did. He went through the door and then another door. Finally, he had to go through a location that asked for his credentials. He opened that door and finally entered it to find a room full of weird machinery that he did not understand.
At the center of it was the main source of space travel, a cylindrical tube that was inserted onto the device.
The Space Drive.
