Since she was a child, her parents didn’t really care about her. They had always favored her elder sister.

She was always alone and thought that she was unwanted.

It was only beside Yun Bixue that she felt that she was a valuable person.

Shui Qianqian still recalled how she had avoided talking to her roommates when school had reopened. It was probably because she had felt inferior.

She might have been afraid of society too.

Amongst the three of her roommates, Chu Fei’er would always look at her with a condescending look in her eyes. Although Chu Fei’er hid it well, she could still look through her at one glance.

After all, she had witnessed all kinds of people while growing up in the palace. She could read their true selves with one look.

Miao Zifu was indifferent towards her, and they hadn’t had much interaction. She felt that Miao Zifu was too stubborn and would easily hurt herself.

Yun Bixue was the only nice one. Therefore, she allowed herself to get closer to Yun Bixue.

Even if they didn’t speak, it felt nice to have Yun Bixue care for her too.

Thinking back on those days, Shui Qianqian’s eyes welled up with tears. Yun Bixue was the only source of warmth in her heart, and she mattered really much to her.

Before her second year in university, she had been forced to return to Country M.

Back then, she wanted to stay in Country A and be together with Yun Bixue. She had been happy there.

But in the end, she realized that there was no chance for her to return anymore. Even if she did, she would only be a burden to Yun Bixue.

Many people would be keeping a close eye on Yun Bixue, and it would be stressful for her. Hence, she accepted it and thought that she should just let Yun Bixue believe that she had died.

She thought that she wouldn’t be able to see her again, but had never expected Yun Bixue to come to Country M.

She was utterly excited and happy.

Yun Bixue was in Country M, and even if someone else were to find out that she had visited her old friend, she could say that as a queen, she was simply concerned for the flight crew. It was related to their country’s politics, so no one else would be able to argue against it.

However, if she were to secretly pay a visit, Rong Jin would be suspicious if he found out.

Although Shui Qianqian was excited, she still tried to think in consideration of Yun Bixue. She would never want to cause her any inconvenience.

In the end, Shui Qianqian left the room and said to her servants, “I’m going to rest. Don’t allow anyone to come in.”

“Yes, my queen.” Everyone had already grown used to it. When the queen was upset in the past, she would say the same thing too.

Therefore, no one found anything amiss nor suspected anything.

After closing the door, Shui Qianqian immediately took out a thick rope from underneath her bed.

She wrapped one end of the rope around the window ledge. After changing into a black raincoat, she slipped down the rope. Evading the guards, she escaped.

In fact, no one knew that Shui Qianqian had picked up some skills while in Country A. Her new skills had allowed her to be nimble in the rain.

Because of the torrential rain, the guards could hardly keep their eyes open. They let down their guard and didn’t realize that the queen had left her room.

Shui Qianqian arrived at the roadside and hailed a taxi to take her to Zhonglan Hospital.

Yun Bixue was sound asleep in the hospital now, and Xie Limo was waiting anxiously beside her.

In her sleep, Yun Bixue seemed to have heard something. A melody was played on the piano, and her body began to sway with the music.

She thought that she was floating amidst the clouds and felt like she was in heaven.

She saw a small house nearby and a young child sitting in the yard.

When she saw the little girl, Yun Bixue felt love well up in her heart.
