Rise of Humanity

chapter-767
“Children!” The little flame shout in anguish, “I want children, rooms of them!”
Zhong Yue replied in a mumble, “It’s negotiable, but a few rooms of them is too many…”
Xin Huo roared back, “If you don’t agree with it, then pay me back my lost lamp oil!”
Zhong Yue’s eyes brightened up, just the three to five years of lost lamp oil?
In stark contrast, this sounded like a much more easier task than having rooms of children!Xin Huo gave a cold sneer, “But to do that, you have to first find an ancient galaxy, one that has a spirit in it. Then, you have to refine the whole galaxy, along with its spirit before they can be used as my lamp oil.”
Zhong Yue was stupefied, beads of cold sweat raced down his forehead while Xin Huo continued, “The years I speak of are different than those you’ve used in the Ancestral Star. A year of mine equates of at least three hundred million years of yours, if not, even more. So, three to five years of my lamp oil makes up to roughly nine hundred million to one and a half billion Ancestral Star’s years. If you pay them back to me, then I’ll not force you into making rooms of babies.”
Xin Huo ended with a frigid smile, “In stark contrast, you are well versed in making babies.”
“Xin Huo, let us negotiate on the number of children.” Zhong Yue winked his eyes as he said.
“There’s nothing to negotiate!”
…
Then, the young human and mystic fire further discussed the minutia of what Xin Huo wanted. Suddenly, Xin Huo said, “Now there’s a lady right beside you. She is a good one. If it weren’t for her risking her life, and also mine, to plunge into the darkness to find you, you’d be long dead already.”Zhong Yue’s heart skipped a beat, he then looked over at Yi Wanjun where the young lady later left and return in her male scholar’s attire. When she was in her male scholar’s robe, she took the identity of Jun Wudao. By doing so, she was telling him by action that women weren’t the men’s play dolls but they also deserved to share an equivalent position as the men. Thus, if Zhong Yue had coerced her into doing things she doesn’t want to, she would resist to the end of her life.
Zhong Yue knew she was prideful. Although she was in love with him, her independent personality wouldn’t make her submit to every decision he made. Given that she had now changed into her male robe, Zhong Yue would naturally respect her decision.
“Go, go! Do it! Now!” Xin Huo hurried the young man.
Zhong Yue shook his head and ignored the little flame’s instigations while moved on to inspect his lifespan. As he now shared a part of his own life to keep Xin Huo existing, the expenditure of his lifespan was twice as fast as usual. Which meant that he now only had half of his total lifespan left.
However, that didn’t bother him at all as long as Xin Huo was kept alive. However long he was able to live didn’t matter much to him.
The Heaven Origin Reincarnation Mirror was still flowing in the teleportation light, they were still some distance away from the Tuo Shan Six Paths World. Zhong Yue calmed himself and continued to refine the Huaxu ancestral blood given to him by Goddess Shen Hou to extract and purify his Fuxi bloodline.
His innate dragon scales were awakened, the Fuxi bloodline purified greatly, and the divine blood awakened by more than 40%. After the encounter with the evil presence, he could sense his limits now higher than before and there was still more room for improvement.
The energy in the ancestral blood was nearly unlimited, but its effect waned as time passed. This was because the Fuxi Clan’s blood was composed of a near 50% of Huaxu innate divine blood and another near 50% of Leizhe innate divine blood, along with another 10% divine blood remaining unknown to Zhong Yue.
However, Zhong Yue’s spectaculation on the divine blood that was somewhere near 10% was the prenate blood instead of the innate ones. He hadn’t encountered any seals from the divine blood, but only those from the Huaxu and Leizhe innate divine blood.
My bloodline power is capped at 50% with the help of the ancestral blood. From there onward, the Fuxi bloodline will not be purified further.
With a change of thought, the innate dragon scales emerged out from his waist. The innate totem patterns of the scales were naturally acquired when he awakened the innate dragon scales. The scales could be said to be the greatest gift, they could reflect the abstrusities of anything on them, its uses were far beyond Realm Monarch Bo Luo’s scale.
The last Fuxi Heavenly Monarch’s imperial sword was crafted from his innate dragon scales. Wherever, whatever the sword rays have shone upon, they could see themselves decomposed in the purest, tiniest form of particles.
Those that the sword ray could reflect them into the tiniest particles would be killed by it, with no exceptions.
Zhong Yue’s innate dragon scales have the same effect. But he was too weak to do what the Heavenly Monarch could. Even so, the innate dragons scales were still powerful, he could use them to discover the weakness in his cultivation and also his opponents. In addition to his Yin and Yang divinatory calculation technique, he would be almost undefeatable!
It’ll take time for me to integrate my divinatory calculation technique with the innate dragons scales. Zhong Yue thought and decided to delay it. Instead, he turned to study the skills and techniques imparted to him by the Heavenly Monarch. The last Fuxi Heavenly Monarch didn’t only use his body to contend with the evil presence, he also passed his knowledge down to Zhong Yue.
The last Fuxi Heavenly Monarch’s cultivation art was the [Fu Min Dao Venerate Heart Sutra Scripture], Fu Min was the appellation to his reign and Dao Venerate the title to his achievements. When the legends said the Fuxi created the Six Paths, the Fuxi was exactly referring to him. He was the one who created the Six Paths, while Hou Tu completed Reincarnation; hence, the Six Paths Reincarnation!
The birth of Six Paths Reincarnation was deeply related to this Fuxi Heavenly Monarch. Back then, he was the Earthly Sovereign of the Earth Order Era. He gathered the strongest cultivators in that era, including the innate gods, the heads of the sovereign races, monarch races, and the smartest and most intelligent cultivators of the many races.
It was the greatest team that was ever formed with one consolidated goal—the creation of the Six Paths Reincarnation that could extend the living beings’ lives five times more, as long as the lifespan of their souls!
Then, they did it. Heavenly Monarch Fu Min gathered the knowledge and created the sixth wheel, the sixth secret realm that connected the lifespans of the mortal body and soul together.
However, the opening of the sixth Yuan Shen secret realms wasn’t something that anyone could do, only a minority of geniuses could achieve it. But that didn’t satisfy Heavenly Monarch Fu Min’s end goal.
That’s when the Reincarnation came in, it allowed the cultivators’ souls to be reincarnated, to start over again. Another round of experimentations and researches were done, and countless experts tried to perfect the idea before it was finally completed by Goddess Hou Tu.
All of these, the Six Paths, the Reincarnation, were all done under Heavenly Monarch’s lead.
Thus, Heavenly Monarch Fu Min’s [Fu Min Dao Venerate Heart Sutra Scripture] contained incredibly profound insights into the Six Paths and Reincarnation!
As Zhong Yue studied the cultivation art, he realized just how grand and boundless it was. There were so many things he had never heard of, so much knowledge he never knew existed. He could spend a million years on it and still remain clueless at it.
Every single bit of knowledge in it could be made into a top-leveled mystic cultivation art that shaped the future of a glorious race.
Attaining too much, too wide wasn’t particularly a good thing. I should focus on just one area . Zhong Yue thought , It is impossible to fully understand it all with my current cultivation base and insights, instead, it will waste me even more time studying things I won’t know nor understand. However, if I can just select the knowledge that fits me the most now and turn them into my own attainments, I can increase my strength greatly and come back to the other knowledge once my horizon expands.
Although he was now officially the Xin Huo inheritor, he didn’t ask for any cultivation heritage from Xin Huo. After all, he knew very well that biting off more than he could chew would only bring even more troubles.
Furthermore, one might as well have a pool of knowledge that they understood than having a sea of knowledge that they didn’t have a clue about.
It was exactly the case for the [Fu Min Dao Venerate Heart Sutra Scripture]. If it would take his whole life to fully understand it now, why not just pick out those he could understand and nurture himself first.
And when he grows stronger, he would be able to understand the rest easier.
In the [Fu Min Dao Venerate Heart Sutra Scripture], there was a volume that explained the Fuxi Celestial Race’s cultivation heritage. It was also a volume that recorded Heavenly Monarch Fu Min’s best utilization of his own power. This was exactly what Zhong Yue needed most at this juncture.
For the following days, Zhong Yue soaked himself in the pool of knowledge, attaining more of the Fuxi Clan’s totem patterns. At the same time, his mortal body, Fuxi blood, and Yuan Shen were strengthened greatly.
Zhong Yue sat quietly like a piece of wood unmovingly for days; but his thoughts had never this active.
In his psyche ocean, there were countless incarnations of him experimenting on a different type of innate totem patterns. After he grasped the abstrusities in the different totem patterns, they would be reformed into skills unique to him.
As time passed, more and more Zhong Yue incarnations were visualized in his psyche ocean. They were battling with each other.
It was truly a spectacular scene to see millions of his incarnations visualized in his psyche ocean, some tangled in bloodshedding battles while the others quietly attaining the innate totem patterns.
Every second, countless Zhong Yue would be killed, but with one death comes another that was visualized to replace the fallen ‘brother’.
As such, his attainments and skills were getting perfected at a tremendous speed.
If it were any other Qi Practitioners, visualizing just two clones of themselves would be an experience terrifying enough. Other than the immense depletion of psyche, the visualized subjects would require the Qi Practitioners to control as well. If one visualized more than he could control, the visualized subjects would follow duplicated thoughts and that eventually rendered them useless.
But this was precisely Zhong Yue’s advantage. He was able to run different thoughts simultaneously at the same time with the help of the Yin and Yang divinatory calculation technique. Making it possible for him to visualize over a million clones of himself to attain the innate totem patterns and perfect the skills with greater expedience.
If only I am a Creator, I will be able to visualize over a million of me with flesh and blood mortal bodies. Simulations like these are closer to reality and thus are able to lessen the flaws as well as speeding up the process!
Zhong Yue lamented in his heart and suddenly grew envious of the Creators. But in fact, unbeknownst to him, visualizing over a million versions of himself in his psyche ocean was somewhat a means only achievable by the Creators, something that not even ordinary gods could do.
Whereas beside him, Yi Wanjun in her male attire was also cultivating. However, little did Zhong Yue know that the young lady didn’t visualize anyone else but him.
When Heavenly Monarch Fu Min battled with the evil presence, the picture of a Fuxi war god was left in her mind.
The [Fuxi Dao War Art] pictured a Fuxi in a battle and the linings of the picture formed the word ‘Dao’.
However, the Fuxi in the picture was none other than Zhong Yue. Thus, as long as she cultivates the [Fuxi Dao War Art], she would have to visualize Zhong Yue.
Yi Wanjun knew it didn’t felt right to do it. If she had been visualizing Zhong Yue during her cultivation for a long period of time, she would inadvertently love him even more to a point she couldn’t distance herself from him and would grow incredibly reliant on him.
The idea itself contradicted her personal dogma, she didn’t want to become his woman by just relying on Zhong Yue. She wanted to be able to stand on her own without relying on him.
Although she loved him and wanted to be by his side, she didn’t intend on letting go of the pride and independence just to become a beautiful vase.
If that were the case, then how would she be any different to the Realm Monarch’s innumerable concubines whose existence revolved solely around their husband’s affection?
