Rank 4 Pill???

Everyone except Damien was shocked to hear Reva's words.

Damien's ethereal cultivation was only at the First Level of the Spirit Ethereal Realm, which was only good enough to concoct Rank 3 Pills at best. In fact, even the ability to concoct Rank 3 Pills with his cultivation should be astounding as that's not something an ordinary person can do.

How can one skip Ranks in alchemy? That was totally absurd and not even ever heard of.

They now had no idea if Reva was trying to make things difficult for Damien or if she wanted to see if he could skip ranks in alchemy just like his combat prowess.

Damien's expression didn't change, and he confidently started concocting a Rank 4 Pill by putting in the required herbs.

The others had even stopped their concoction in the middle to see if he could really concoct a Rank 4 Pill.

They didn't dare to believe he could. Still, they could feel the intense power emanating from his amber flames and felt that it was no less powerful than the flames of a Low-Level Earth Ethereal Realm cultivator!

Then they realized that probably Damien could succeed as his Fire seed's power must be truly touching the Earth Ethereal Realm. Only then would it make sense that he can fight practitioners a whole realm more powerful than him.

Within a few minutes, a pill flew out from the cauldron, and even an amateur in alchemy could feel the Rank 4 medical aura emanating from it.

They all inwardly cried why Damien had to be so unbelievably talented and impress their goddess.

Reva wasn't surprised to see that he succeeded and thought it was just as she expected. She nodded approvingly and said, "Very good. It seems like you won't be having problems in passing the practicals."

Reva was sure that Damien's ability to skip Ranks would come off as shocking as his ability to surmount a whole realm with just his combat prowess.

But she knew that both were related as Damien is using his Fire seed to concoct pills, and it would obviously reflect his extraordinary ethereal talent.

Damien put on a confident smile and said, "Didn't I tell teacher that alchemy is like breathing to me."

Reva felt like rolling her eyes, thinking that he must be feeling smugger about himself now that his talent in concocting pills is as marvelous as his ethereal talent.

But then she thought about the extra classes and felt that Damien would have no use for them anymore. She didn't want the extra classes to end yet as she wanted to learn from him instead.

She knew Damien's alchemy knowledge was probably more profound than hers and liked how he explained things so easily. She didn't even feel worthy enough to be his teacher and wondered why he even joined the alchemy class.

She thought that Damien joined because he wanted to work on his practical alchemy skills. And now, he had successfully mastered it as well.

Damien observed Reva's expression and guessed what she was thinking as he knew that he didn't need any more extra classes. But of course, he didn't want to cancel them.

So he said in a forthright tone, "Teacher Reva, for today's extra class, can you teach me how to understand some of the complicated medical formulas? I am having a hard time with some of them and would need your help. You won't refuse to help your poor disciple, right?"

Reva's gaze narrowed and wondered what Damien was playing at, especially why he even wanted extra classes now that he didn't even need one. And she knew the reason he said was complete nonsense as it was quite the other way around with him helping her out with the complicated medical formulas.

But she wondered if he was asking this to help her out as he knew that she needed his help.

Damien winked at her, indirectly telling her to just play along with him.

Reva sighed and said, "Okay, I will help you out." She thought that at least this way, she would be learning more from Damien, and it didn't matter if she had to spend more time in the afternoon.

Damien put on a satisfied smile and could guess the reason why Reva agreed.

The others were aggrieved that Damien still gets to spend time alone with the Ethereal Fairy. Only at times like these, they wished they were not talented at all and had more guts.

The class soon ended, and Damien was walking around the corridor when Luna mentally asked him, "Do you still think that Reva is an enemy?"

Damien answered after a brief moment of silence, "It seems like she is quite different than what I expected. Despite how reticent she seems, she doesn't seem like a sinistrous person who carries out underhanded schemes. In fact, her personality is quite cute in a way." Damien chuckled to himself as he remembered the face Reva made when he accidentally flashed his naked body before her.

"Ayee, don't tell me you are falling for her. I knew it was only a matter of time. Ha, falling for someone on the enemy side, your taste is no better." Luna said in a fanciful tone.

Damien's tone became serious as he said, "Of course not. I am merely telling what I felt. But that doesn't change the fact that she is the princess of the Xeton Empire and someone favored by the Xeton God. Maybe she is acting, and if she is, then she really deserves an Oscar for being able to fool me."

Damien decided to name the god residing in the Xeton Empire as the 'Xeton God' since he felt that the Xeton God was probably favoring the Xetonians instead of the Zirians.

He continued, "I have yet to find out what's the deal between her and the Xeton God. Just like Triton said, she can be my enemy as well. Maybe she is entertaining me because she needs something from me or because she is after something. Otherwise, it would have been a bit harder for me to get her attention."

Damien knew he might have had to try harder if that was really the case, as Reva wasn't someone who could be easily moved.

But inwardly, he was feeling confused about Reva, and the more time he spent with her, things just didn't seem to be as he expected.

Luna questioned, "Then what happens if she is really just an innocent girl who unknowingly is being played like a chess piece? And what if she really falls for you?"

After a moment of silence, Damien answered, "Then, at most, she would have a broken heart. But she would get over it soon enough as she anyway likes to be in solitude."

Luna asked whimsically, "Oohh? Do you really think so she would get over it? What if you leave a scar on her heart forever after breaking her heart?"

Damien said indifferently, "It doesn't matter. Why should I care about someone whom I don't have any feelings for?"

Luna irritably said, "Ughh, only if in these things you showed some kindness. A girl like her is a treasure you can't just throw away simply. If she willingly falls into your arms, you should accept her. Let's see how long you can play the straight and loyal man. It would only be a matter of time before you have at least two women in your arms. If I am wrong, then this goddess' name is not Luna."

"Huh? I don't think that sounds like a proper bet. Anyway, let's see who is going to lose." Damien said, but his tone surprisingly didn't sound determined or confident like he usually does.

He felt Luna was somehow manipulating him into having a harem with her constant provocations. At times, he wished he could use a silence button in his soul plane to turn off all transmissions.

He felt like he was having a headache thinking about these things and shook his head as he walked.

It was afternoon when Damien finished all his classes and headed towards the Alchemy Study Hall.

He entered the hall and smiled when he saw Reva sitting on a chair and diligently working on her medical formulas as usual.

"Hello, Reva. Were you waiting for me?"
