It had been about five months since Damien woke up in this world, and yet he already felt like he had lived here for years. He felt that it was because his true reincarnation took place fifteen years ago and that by now, his previous memories were already feeling like his own while his past life just seemed like a black and white dream.

However, thinking about how within five months he was able to achieve his current cultivation of the Fourth Level of the Earth Ethereal Realm, he felt that his progress was indeed insanely fast compared to others but still not enough for him to reach his goal.

If anybody else learned about his thoughts, they would curse him to death for asking for more.

There would be countless cultivators ready to do anything to make progress like Damien, and in fact, so many had died in pursuit of it.

This was why Damien felt very thankful to Anti-God and wanted to make sure his last remaining confidant, Kalypso, recovered to her prime.

Strangely enough, on his way to the Xeton Empire, both Luna and Kalypso were silent and keeping to themselves.

Kalypso was taking rest in her Crimson Death form while Luna was basically a shut-in, by staying inside her Shard of Essence and refusing to come out despite Damien trying to call her out.

He knew that even though Luna was knowledgeable about a lot of things, including how people's minds worked, her personality was still volatile, which he attributed to her memory loss.

Still, he didn't care too much about it and was fine with the way she was. Otherwise, she wouldn't be the Luna he knew.

Damien was resting along with Valentina on Haunter's back when Kalypso suddenly assumed her spirit form and decided to apologize to Luna for Damien's sake even though she felt that she didn't do anything wrong.

In her bewitching gothic black dress, Kalypso slowly floated over to Luna's Shard of Essence and slightly knocked on it after hesitating for a while.

*Knock, knock!*

Not getting any response from her, Kalypso knocked again consecutively, starting to feel annoyed by this so-called goddess' petulant behavior.

Even after knocking for a while, Luna wasn't still responding, and finally, Kalypso, who once reigned supreme among all other Spirit beings, couldn't stand this insult and said, "Hey! Open up! How long are you going to be a baby and sulk inside? I came here to apologize."

"Is this how you speak for someone who wants to apologize to me, hmph?" Luna suddenly barged out as she got into a heated stare-off with Kalypso.

Kalypso crossed her arms and, not wanting to lose to her, said in a calm tone, "At least I had the basic courtesy of apologizing compared to someone who is causing problems for no reason."

Luna pressed her lips together and put her hands on her waist as she said in a piqued tone, "Problems? You are here only because I told Damien to let you enter. If I wanted to, I could have made him think that you were someone with evil intentions like taking over his soul or something."

Kalypso's eyes widened, "Preposterous! I would rather die than do something to betray my Master. Even without you, Master would still choose me because of the connection we share."

Luna puffed up her cheeks before letting out a melodious giggle, "Tehehe, connection? You are no different than a stranger to him who took advantage of his benefactor's name to get yourself here. Damien and I share a stronger connection than you can expect."

Kalypso raised one of her eyebrows, "Oh, a supreme goddess like you doesn't mind forming such a connection with a mortal?"

Luna pulled her brows together and then realized what she had just said now and immediately said in a vexed tone, "Pull your head out of the gutter! What I meant was that Damien trusts me more than he trusts you, and this will remain true in the future too."

"You two...can I not have a moment's sleep?" Damien, who was peacefully sleeping, couldn't help but wake up after all this noise in his head.

"She started it, Master," Kalypso immediately pointed to Luna with an aggrieved expression, making Luna fume up and say, "Liar! She was the one who knocked on my door!"

"Yes, but I only wanted to apologize. You were the one who didn't come out when I kindly asked you to," Kalypso said in an indignant tone.

Luna, however, said in a dismissive tone, "Whatever. It's beneath this goddess to keep arguing with a broken Spirit Weapon. I am going back to sleep."

Luna immediately turned into a flash of light as she disappeared into her Shard of Essence, leaving behind an irritated Kalypso.

Kalypso also went back to rest in her weapon form, making Damien finally let out a sigh of relief, seeing how these two were silent again.

He couldn't help but wonder if these two were really supreme beings who were so old to keep count. He felt that this was due to their souls being injured and hoped that he never gets his soul injured like this.

Still, he could only imagine how his future days were going to be with these two inside his soul.

However, he was also glad that he had two superpowered beings to support him from within. And now, with the help of Kalypso, he felt that things were going to get less difficult for him.

Soon enough, Haunter was hovering above the skies overlooking the Xeton Empire, and Damien finally woke up again along with Valentina as he said, "We are back...but...we still have a lot to do…"

Valentina stretched her arms as she wondered what all things they were going to do now that they were back.

However, Damien's eyes immediately looked towards the most majestic building in the center of the imperial capital while thinking of a certain someone.
