Damien didn't seem to hear her feeble words and was busy tasting the delicious skin on her neck with his lips.

He held her shoulders as he softly kissed along her neck and her alluring collarbones.

"Damien!" Reva suddenly became flustered and nervous as she couldn't handle the stimulation and quickly slipped out of his embrace, making Damien come out of his dream world.

Reva saw Damien's confused expression and feeling that she might have hurt his feelings, she said, "I am sorry...Right now is not a good time...not this place anyway."

Damien didn't feel bad since he knew he might have pushed this pure and innocent beauty a bit too much. However, he was surprised to hear that she was more worried about doing such things in this ice cave where they were standing right now.

So he asked, "What's wrong with this place? Is there someone else here?" Damien became alarmed as he again used his senses to check for any other people in this place. But he got no feedback from his senses just as before.

He was worried since his relationship with Reva couldn't be exposed right now, and that was why he was feeling happy that Reva found a secret place for them to meet together, only to find out that this place might be just more than a secret meeting spot.

Reva saw how vigilant Damien suddenly became and reassured him, "No, don't worry. There aren't any other people here but…"

"But what?"

"Remember when I asked you if you believed in gods?" Reva asked with narrowed eyes.

Damien's brows pulled together as he asked, "Yes...you did. What about it?" Damien already began to speculate things as Reva suddenly mentioned this topic.

"Well...it is indeed true a god lives in our empire, and his resting place is right here...in this cave," Reva said while wondering if Damien would be able to believe such absurd things since, in the eyes of other people, beings like gods were just myths who governed the heavens and hell from a higher realm.

So how could anyone expect to even see them in the mortal realm? All they could do was only pray and worship these supreme beings.

"Oh my god…" Damien mumbled as he looked around this icy cave, not expecting the Xeton God he had been looking for all this time to be resting in this place!

'Luna, did you hear that?? We have finally found him!' Damien didn't know if Luna already knew or not since she was a goddess herself.

"Hmm, maybe. Since I can't spread my spiritual senses too far, I can't confirm. But I can feel some divine presence...the same feeling I am getting from this girl's soul. So that Xeton God must be resting here indeed," Luna said in a contemplative tone.

Kalypso, who wasn't privy to any of this, asked in confusion, "What are you and Master talking about? Who is this Xeton God, and why would a god rest in a mortal plane? It doesn't make sense, nor is it possible for a god to exist in the mortal plane for a long time."

"What do you mean it isn't possible for a god to exist in the mortal plane?" Damien asked, wondering why a god would have such restrictions.

"Well, that's simply because gods are too powerful, and their presence alone could make a mortal plane crumble into nothingness after a while. But if they want to badly visit a mortal plane, they would do so by creating an artificial mortal shell and then wandering around. They obviously wouldn't visit with their original body unless they get rid of their powers or most of it anyway," Kalypso explained.

"Damien? Are you finding it hard to believe what I said?" Reva asked, seeing that Damien seemed to be a bit out of it.

"Ah, no...of course not. I mean, I have always felt that beings like gods exist. Otherwise, how did life come to be? Somebody should have created us and the world we live in, right? But, still, is there really an actual god resting here...I mean, can that god see us right now? Is he right here or…?" Damien now understood why Reva seemed so concerned about being intimate with him here.

How could she possibly do such things in the presence of a divine being? That would be too shameful and embarrassing.

Even Damien felt it embarrassing, wondering if the Xeton God saw him being intimate with Reva. He just didn't have that much thick skin.

Reva replied in a slightly embarrassed tone, "Yes...Master can see and sense everything in here," She wondered how she was going to show her face to her one and only master, who was a divine being.

"Master? So he is the one who has been teaching you cultivation and everything?" Damien asked to confirm his guesses.

Reva nodded, "He was the one who passed down his divine ethereal art to me and also helped me a lot in my cultivation. Without his guidance, I wouldn't be where I am now."

"So...why did you bring me here? Isn't this place supposed to be a big secret?"

Reva looked at Damien and said, "I trust you, and it's also because Master wanted to meet you. In fact, he wanted to meet you earlier, but the situation was not good, and we had no idea about who you were. I don't know why Master is interested in you but considering that you are the most powerful genius I have ever seen, it doesn't seem surprising. Master does not have much time left, and that is why I brought you here now instead of waiting for a good time."

"As I expected...this divine being must be in a weakened state like us. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense," Kalypso said in a tone of certainty.

"Okay. I want to meet him as well," Damien said while wondering why this world had so many divine beings falling here after getting weakened.
