chapter-641
However, Damien wasn't finished, "I know going up against the Xeton Empire, and their allies would be our final battle in this continent. I can't say if we will win or lose but what is important is that even if our numbers are few, our will and determination to win are way stronger than theirs. We also have so many talented cultivators among us, which they don't have. With all this, I believe we all can together make a difference. For the Forsaken!"
Damien's voice was cool and firm, instilling a surge of strength and determination among the Forsaken people.
If before they considered Damien to simply be their savior, now they consider him as a leader figure they can rely upon and look up to. Even if Damien was just a young man and younger than some of them, they just were unable to consider him as a junior.
His eyes, his demeanor, his words…they surely didn't seem to belong to an 18-year-old junior. Plus, when they included the fact that he felled an evil god, Damien was no longer just a mere person in their eyes.
Some were already looking up to him as the son of the heavens who had descended to the mortal world to save them.No matter how they thought about it, he revealed himself to the world at the right time. They were about to lose their young leader and princess, Reva, to Yohr when he saved her as well.
"For the Forsaken!"
All the Forsaken people shouted at the same time, their voices creating a feeling of fervor and instilling strength in each other.
After losing a lot of their friends and family, they thought their fates were destined to end in a cruel way. And learning that Yohr was the reason behind this only crushed their hearts even more.
But now, hearing Damien's words and seeing him close and knowing what he accomplished other than killing Yohr, especially how he gatecrashed the Great Hall and even abducted the two most beautiful princesses of the continent, they felt as if this man was capable of moving mountains with just a hand.
They felt that he was a man who wasn't all talk but someone who did what he said. Even his growth in strength was staggering since not long ago, he was only at the Spirit Ethereal Realm, and now already he was powerful enough to make the Xeton Emperor chase him.
Damien saw how the Forsaken people's faces had brightened up, unlike how gloomy it was before. He then took a glance at his women, who all subtly nodded at him with a smile, knowing what he wanted to say.
Damien softly smiled before looking at the Forsaken people and said in a loud enough voice, "And there is one more happy news I want to break to you all."
Everyone suddenly stopped talking as they wondered what kind of happy news it might be at such a time. Did their leader miss out on any information before?
Damien smiled, seeing their expressions of keen curiosity, and announced, "I am going to marry your young leader and princess, Reva, along with my lovely Lily and Yuria. We all have agreed that even if now might not be the best time to hold a wedding, it is something we all need…something that will make all of us happy. We don't plan to hold a big ceremony but just a small one to mark our wedding. And thus I wanted and requested you all to please attend our wedding," As Damien said this, he looked at Irene, Elor, and Marvin as well, who had baffled looks.
They totally didn't see this coming. Of course, they knew their daughters would one day marry Damien if things went well. But this was sooner than they expected, especially when they were still at war.
The Forsaken people had astounded expressions as well. They were already astonished to learn that the most beautiful princesses on the continent were in love with the same man. It was something a man might even find hard to achieve, even in their dreams.
Still, they didn't find it that surprising after remembering how Damien was not an ordinary man but someone sent by the heavens.
But marriage…that they surely never saw that coming and for a moment was too shocked to react.
However, the next moment all of them broke into smiles of happiness as their eyes were slowly being filled with tears, feeling happy for their princess to finally have the chance to be together with someone she loved.
After Reva revealed herself, they were heartbroken to know how much she had to struggle and suffer silently in the palace, especially with her evil father around to keep an eye on her. And despite all that, she risked everything numerous times to help her people, which moved the Forsaken people even more.
They felt as if they would never be able to repay the debt of gratitude they owed to her and could only offer their unwavering loyalty and lives.
Right when they were wishing their princess could live a happy life, this pleasant surprise came by, making them happy as well.
They were also happy for Princess Lily and Yuria since they knew about their situations as well, especially Lily, who was about to get sold off like a trophy or was supposed to within a few months, just like how Yuria was about to yesterday.
They were glad that these two princesses were able to escape from such a harsh fate and that they reunited with their lover along with their princess.
Marvin couldn't help but smile as tears rolled down his cheeks. He never thought he would cry like this. Even when Lily's father died, he didn't shed a tear to not appear weak before his empire, but now he was happily letting those tears roll down as he mumbled inwardly, 'Roland, Fiona…your daughter has finally found happiness. May your souls rest in peace now.'
