"Your Majesty, I was just about to meet you. I didn't think you had already reached here," Damien said with a cheery smile as he bowed respectfully.

"Hmph. Since you are already family, I have no choice but to let this go. Also, didn't I tell you to address me as your father-in-law?" King Krisen said with a magnanimous bearing as he stroked his chin, not expecting someone as gifted and powerful as Damien calling him 'Father-in-law' would feel so good.

Without even others telling, he could already feel that Damien was shockingly more powerful than him now. At first, he expected his potential to reach somewhere around Ruthren's level at maximum, but now even he couldn't fathom how far this boy could go.

Even if it meant that his son-in-law would surpass him in power, King Krisen was excited to see his growth and his future achievements. Since Damien would be his daughter's husband, Damien's achievements would make him proud and happy as well.

King Krisen stepped forward as he placed both his hands on Damien's shoulders and said with a softened expression, "Damien…without me telling it, you must know how precious my sweet little girl is to me, right? Now, I know in our world there will always be unknown dangers out there, including people themselves where they are jealous of those stronger or better than them. All of them will try to bring you down or bring pain to your loved ones, thinking that it will weaken you. But as a man, it will be your responsibility to make sure you become powerful enough that nobody would dare to touch you or anybody you love. It is just like how nobody other than the Forsaken dared to go against Ruthren. You either have to be the strongest or risk getting eaten by the wild animals around you. That is how savage our world is. You already know all this, but I just had to say this since it's my duty as well. Yuria is my soul, and I am entrusting her to you," As King Krisen said all this, his eyes already began to mist up, and he turned his head away in embarrassment as he wiped away whatever had gotten into his eyes.

He never thought that his daughter would suddenly become mature so fast and leave her home, away from him. He knew someone like Damien can't be tied down to one place, and as his wife, it would only be right Yuria had to follow him wherever he went.

But the fact that he wouldn't be able to see his daughter every day like before was making him sad yet happy since she has finally found her place.

"Father-in-law, I consider Yuria as my own heart. I already know the pain of losing someone you love, and that is why this time, I will make sure I become strong enough to keep her safe and happy always," Damien said as Yuria's death in his previous life flashed in his mind, making him shake it away.

Even to this day, he couldn't bear to think about it, nor could he accept what happened to others as well. But other than Yuria, something was telling him that those girls whom he was close with in his previous life might not be lost forever.

"I know you will, but Yuria is a strong girl on her own as well. And I don't want to say this, but you have to let her help you no matter how dangerous the situation is. Because without you, she wouldn't be able to go on. I know my own daughter, and that is why I also know how much she loves you. She considers your life as her own. Other than that, wives exist not only as people to comfort us in tough times or manage the family but to be pillars of support that we can lean on. It goes both ways," King Krisen advised.

Damien nodded, "I won't forget your words."

King Krisen smiled proudly, "That's my boy. Now let's not keep them waiting."

It was already the time for the wedding event to start as all the people gathered around, the entire place filled with their excitement and happiness.

There were a lot of chairs, but for certain reasons, it wasn't possible to let everyone sit. So the seniors, especially the most powerful ones directly related to the brides like Elor, Irene, Marvin, King Krisen, and Leon, sat in the frontmost seats with pleasant smiles.

There was a small platform built up front for the wedding to take place, and since Yuria was the one who came up with the idea of the setting, Damien wasn't surprised to see that the whole thing seemed a bit similar to the weddings in his past life.

But this was perfect. Even if Damien was okay with just a simple and small wedding, he was only happy to see the setting made to look so beautiful and grand.

He stepped onto the platform as everyone, especially the women among them, had stars in their eyes upon seeing such a dashing and handsome man.

Since Damien was dressed in elegant blue robes with dark blue embroidery on the sides, it only made his charms stand out even more.

Some of the women among the audience slapped themselves for having inappropriate thoughts about their savior and also since he was going to be a married man soon.

Damien was greeting everyone before him when his eyes got distracted by three beautiful palanquins being carried towards the platform.

He knew obviously who all were sitting in these three palanquins and eagerly looked on as those three palanquins were placed on the platform.

The curtains on the palanquins parted as a pair of pretty feet was revealed from all three palanquins.

Damien held his breath as all three women came out of their palanquins; his eyes lit up with astonishment to see how tremendously beautiful all three were looking.
