The Flame Hog turned around and saw a human weaker than itself provoking it.

*Grunt*

The Flame Hog grunted as it charged towards Marcus with its head low to impale Marcus with its tusks.

Marcus smirked, seeing it charge at him. He merely twirled his axe as the earth near his feet instantly moved towards his legs and infused his whole body with the earthen materials, making him look like an armored hulk.

He took a deep breath and sidestepped as he swung his axe to hack at the hog while dodging its charge.

*Slash*

The axe found its mark on its neck but it merely only cut a faint line of blood and didn't even go deep. Marcus immediately moved back after dealing his attack but wasn't surprised that his attack wasn't much effective.

The hog made an angry grunting noise as flames slowly started to appear on its tusks. However before it could rush towards Marcus, he shouted,

"Leo, now!"

Damien saw Leo immediately getting up and firing a blazing arrow aiming for the back of the Flame Hog.

The hog got stunned by the sudden attack as it felt a scorching pain behind its back, making it fall on its side as it lost its balance.

Leo had already moved a bit far in the opposite direction of Marcus and the hog was now surrounded by two humans, one on its front and the other behind it.

It got up, roughly shook its head, and decided to go for the closest target despite being attacked by another person. Leo took advantage of the opportunity in front of him and fired three blazing arrows in succession.

The hog sensed those arrows speeding towards it and tried to dodge them while charging at Marcus. But it was only able to dodge a single arrow while the other two hit its vital points.

*squeal*

The hog let out a cry of pain as it was again forced on the ground before it could even reach Marcus.

"Emily!"

Marcus cried out and Damien saw Emily dashing towards the hog like the wind, aiming for its eyes with the sharp tip of her dagger.

The tip of the dagger pierced right into the hog's right eye and Emily instantly moved back swiftly before it could even counterattack.

*AWKKKKKK*

The hog, let out a shrill cry of pain as blood gushed out of its right eye. It somehow got on its limbs again and this time it madly charged towards Marcus without caring about the other two people who attacked it.

Marcus didn't falter and instead charged towards it. Leo instantly moved towards the side and fired another blazing arrow aiming for its left eye.

The flaming arrow pierced right through its left eye, scorching its whole eye socket which forced it to change its direction as it stumbled sideways crying in pain. Because of the pain from its right eye, it didn't even bother to avoid the flaming arrow in its crazed state.

Marcus saw the blind hog being stunned by pain. He used that chance to jump up high in the air and made a quick descent towards the hog, aiming for its neck with his axe.

With the earth empowering his whole body, the power he could apply on his axe was multiplied.

The axe lacerated its neck since its ethereal defense had already worn down and the hog had instinctively poured most of its ethereal energy towards its eyes.

Blood spurted out as it finally collapsed on the ground with labored breathing before finally letting out its last breath.

Damien was stunned witnessing two Middle and one High-Level Earth Ethereal Realm Cultivators bringing down an ethereal beast at the Peak Level of the Earth Ethereal Realm so easily without even giving it a chance to properly fight back.

He knew that the Flame Hog was a beast that no one in the same realm would be able to survive its unstoppable charge. It was said that once the Flame Hog had set its eyes on a target to charge at, they could only pray for lightning to strike down the hog if they wanted to survive.

'What superb teamwork.' Damien knew that it might seem simple when one witness their teamwork but he understood how precise they were in making every move and knowing when to make a move.

'Maybe they can really trick Low-Level Sky Ethereal Realm beasts.' He knew those three must have taken years of practice to coordinate their moves and also place their trust in each other.

But Damien knew that Marcus had no problem in trusting these two good-natured fellows while the other two obviously fully trusted him as their close friend.

Damien saw Marcus about to sever the neck of the hog and called out, "Wait!"

He knew that these three would take out its ethereal core and sell it, since it would be a waste to just simply discard the body of a Peak Level Earth Ethereal Realm beast as even its various body parts like its tusks can be sold for a good amount of Spirit Stones.

Marcus raised his brows as he wondered what Damien wanted, "Hmm, anything you need Sir Alchemist?"

Damien said in a gruff tone, "You three wouldn't mind if I buy its corpse?"

The trio exchanged glances and nodded to each other. Marcus smiled and said, "Of course, it's no problem, Sir Alchemist."

He knew that alchemists would sometimes use the body parts of the ethereal beasts as ingredients for some pills. So he wasn't surprised that Damien wanted to buy the Flame Hog's body from them.

As long as he gets the Spirit Stones, why would he bother whom he sells it to?

Damien transferred the required amount of Spirit Stones and transferred the corpse into his soul space.

After thinking that Damien had stored the corpse in his spatial ring, he went towards his friends to split the amount.

'At least he knows to pay well.' Marcus was pretty satisfied with the amount Damien gave as he expected Damien to be a bit stingy.

Meanwhile, Damien was inwardly jubilant on receiving a fresh corpse of a Peak Level Earth Ethereal Realm beast. He took in a long breath as he decided to test out something.

His face contorted with extreme pain but managed to not let out a sound and after a few moments, his facial expression finally relaxed. But if one could see his face, they would think that his complexion looked like he didn't sleep for weeks.

Marcus noticed Damien suddenly bending forward as if he was looking at something and his body slightly quivering. But just when he was about to ask something, he saw Damien return to his normal pose.

He didn't think too much about it and said to Damien, "Sir Alchemist, we are very close to the Wailing Woodland. So you wouldn't mind if he had a short rest of a few minutes to rejuvenate our ethereal energy?"

Damien didn't mind as he also needed a short break coincidentally, "Take your time."

Marcus thanked Damien and gestured to his friends to take a rest. Emily saw Damien resting against a big boulder and thought of asking him something after mustering up some courage.

She walked towards him and asked in a reticent tone, "Sir Alchemist, can I ask something?"
