Chapter 350 - She isn’t going to give them any wedding candies! They are hella expensive! (1)
What she probably didn’t know was that…
Should she want to leave him one day, he just might lose all of his self-control and have her locked up so he can have her savagely… …
The closer he got to her, the more difficult it was for him to control himself. This was not what he had expected of himself.
In the future, even though the law would allow her to leave, but he would never allow that to happen. If she knew how dark he truly was, she would probably be so scared that she would cry?
Standing next to the bed and looking at the seeming unsuspecting girl, there was a hint of bitterness on the corners of his lips.
“Mmm… so, will I be sleeping here from now on?”
Gu Shishi wasn’t one who could hide things.
Attentive, but also simple, that was the only way to be able paint the way that she did.
Huo Sishen’s dark eyes dimmed a little. Then, a hint of light appeared and was quickly suppressed again.
“Where would you like to sleep?”His magnetic voice sent shiver down her spine and she was screaming inside. She maintained a serious look; it wasn’t like she could blush any more than she already was anyway.
“I want to sleep where other wives sleep.”
And she wasn’t trying to be mushy.
Gu Shishi strongly believed that she was saying that in an effort to defend her own territory.
The only person in a relationship that doesn’t sleep in the master bedroom is the third person, right?!
“My dad had his own room too.”
Huo Sishen KO’d her with just one sentence.
Gu Shishi’s eyes widened and she was short of holding up her jaw with her hand. “That’s impossible!”
Huo Sishen’s lips curved a little. “Working into the wee hours, having international calls from time to time and having to go in and out of the bedroom will strongly affect the wife’s rest.”
Gu Shishi opened up her mouth.
A second later, she only wished she cold dig a hole and hide inside of it.
Alright, so she was the only one with a dirty mind.
“He would only sleep in his wife’s room during vacation time or when he didn’t have conferences at night.”
He didn’t even bother referring to her as his mother.
He was already showing his true side in front of her.
Huo Sishen smiled bitterly.
“You should go to bed early. If you are tired, you can take the day off tomorrow.”
“Why would I be tired?”
Gu Shishi grumbled in displeasure and casually tossed her cellphone next to the pillow.
Just those few words had sent shiver down Huo Sishen’s spine.
Any normal men would have interpreted what she had just said as an invitation.
She was taking on the role as a newly-wedded bride quickly.
Except that, did she true have feelings for him or was it more just a vague feeling of looking at the first person whom she had run into as her protected after she had been abandoned by her families?
What if she met more people in the future and learned what fondness truly was…
Huo Sishen frowned.
Gu Shishi, on the other hand, had no idea what was going through his mind. Otherwise, she would roar inside of her:
Live in the moment! Why worry so much??
Which couple could guarantee that they would be in love for life? Of course one must live in the moment when it comes to romance. As for the future, much like what the system had said, the two of them would just have to work on their relationship. Why would they worry about things taking a change for the worse now??
Granted, had she known what was going through his mind, she would have agreed with the system’s understanding of Huo Sishen.
Her husband was like a problem child who lacked the confidence that someone could possibly love him.
She had no choice but to work on him patiently!
“Hmm, it’s late now. Have you showered?”
Even though she had no idea what was going through Huo Sishen’s mind right now, but she seemed to feel that she had said something seductive.
And, eager to salvage the situation, she had said something even more seductive…
Hot dang. Tears streamed down her face and she was about her give herself a thumbs up after she had said it.
