When Dio wanted to leave after his meeting with Scott, he was summoned by Stephen into New York Sanctuary out of his will. Dio was confused and annoyed, but he couldn’t tell why Stephen would want him here.

Was this about healing his hands?

“I saw a disaster!” Stephen said with a shocked face. Dio instantly frowned as he didn’t understand what Stephen meant by that.

“What disaster? Can you speak more clearly?” Dio said annoyedly. Did Stephen saw the future where Thanos attacked? Or was it something else?

“I don’t know. All I know is the Earth would endure three devastating situations that might destroy everything!” Stephen said bitterly. Dio was surprised because Stephen didn’t say anything about Thanos, meaning that he wasn’t one of the three disasters that Stephen foresaw.

“The Ancient One has already told me to prevent countless disasters in advance, but I am still confused. After all, how can it just happen one after another! But after forcing Dormammu out of our dimension, I tried to rebuild all sanctuaries and repair the shield. Then I started to foresee the future that might happen! As a result, I saw three kinds of disasters that would destroy the Earth! One included the demon attack you mentioned the other day, and the other two are some sort of weird alien invasion!” Stephen said worriedly.

“Therefore, I deemed it necessary to inform you as soon as I can as we need every help we can get to prevent these disasters!” Stephen said confidently. Stephen was the Ancient One’s student for only a brief period before he became the Sorcerer Supreme. Looking back on how he had a hard time banishing Dark Dimension out of Earth, it could be said that Stephen wasn’t confident of his own power just yet. Thus, he sought union with other people that he deemed strong enough to reassure him that everything would be okay.

After hearing Stephen’s word, Dio thought about it all for a second. Stephen had a fairly good point there as he knew that Dio was surely needed to defend the Earth. Dio himself knew that he couldn’t let the Earth fell as it was his home planet!

“Let’s put aside the ordeal with the demon first. I need to know what kind of disaster you saw in another two situations?” Dio asked curiously.

“I couldn’t see that well as it was blurry, but what I can confirm is I am sure that it was an alien invasion! One of them seems like a parasite that enters the human body before transforming into a very scary-looking monster that swallowed all lives on the planet! Then another one is an attack of Alien’s army that directly attacked the Earth, destroying it completely!” Stephen said worriedly.

Although Dio got a vague idea of what he would be up against, he didn’t have anything to confirm as it was just on Stephen’s mind. Nevertheless, it was a good enough warning that they needed to prepare for. It was always best to stay prepared whether the disaster would actually happen or not.

“I understand you’re worried. I will stay in New York until an unforeseeable future. Therefore, if you need something, you can notify me as soon as possible!” Dio said solemnly.

“I think we need more power for this. If the Avenger still exists, their participation would be welcomed.” Stephen said worriedly. He didn’t know that Dio was part of the Avenger, but he only spoke out his own logical mind as he knew that the Avenger has repelled an Alien Invasion in the past!

“Alright, those guys aren’t retired just yet, but they are like jobless people right now as there is nothing they can do. I will inform them and tell them to prepare for the situation to come. They won’t sit idly by after hearing something like this.” Dio said casually.

Stephen looked at him curiously as he didn’t understand how Dio would be so sure. He couldn’t comprehend how vast Dio’s network really was, but all he could do was trust him for now.

As for Dio himself, he didn’t really care about what Stephen was thinking. He just wanted all disaster to pass and go on vacation for a while. Therefore he wanted to talk with Steve and the others as soon as possible!

. . . . . . . . . . .

While Dio was talking with Stephen, Peter’s rich classmate, Eugene ‘Flash’ Thompson was driving his dad’s luxurious car to meet with his new girlfriend. When he got to his girlfriend’s house, he waited for a while, but his girlfriend wasn’t the one who came out. Instead, a young girl appeared in her stead, looking curiously at Flash.

Flash remembered that her girlfriend often talked about her cute little sister, so Flash deduced that the little girl was the aforementioned cute little sister! Although Flash liked to brag about everything he owned in front of Peter and his other classmates, he wasn’t a bad person. Thus he approached the little girl calmly and asked for her sister warmly. “You are Cindy’s younger sister, right? Can you call Cindy out, please?” Flash said with a smile on his face.

However, his eyes widened in horror as he watched the little girl suddenly spewed out a strange black slime that started to cover her body. Flash ran in horror as fast as he could while shouting horrifiedly. He immediately entered his car and drove away maniacally as he knew that no matter happened to his new girlfriend, his father’s car came first!
