The eighteen, nine-sided round blades spun in the air at varying speeds.

“Break!”

Xia Fei yelled as all the disc blades gathered before shooting toward the invisible air wall like a meteor across the sky.

The nine-sided disc blades spun at incredible speeds like a chainsaw, spinning so fast that only its afterimage could be seen.

A spinning attack like this was one of the best against a wall of compressed air. It was like an electric drill, ripping apart the densely packed air.

Pang Hai was utterly shocked. He then put his hands together, superimposing the first wall with another to prevent it from breaking under Xia Fei’s disc blades.

Unfortunately, Pang Hai had still underestimated the power of psychokinesis.

*Whoosh whoosh!*

The disc blades broke through the air walls after clashing against it for a few moments. These walls were like paper against such a powerful display of skill.

*Crack!*

Xia Fei ripped through the broken air wall with his hands as if he were tearing fabric apart before he walked through the walls.

“Return.”

The spinning disc blades returned onto Celestial Moon as the weapon reverted to its original, incredible form.

“He’s a psychokinetic ability user, too.”

“That means he has two abilities; how is that even possible?”

Pang Hai knitted his eyebrows. He never would have thought that Xia Fei not only possessed speed ability but psychokinesis as well.

There was an unwritten rule in the Alliance: If one wanted to become an elite warrior, they must not have multiple abilities. Nobody had ever managed to cultivate two completely different abilities up to the same level. One could not eat the cake and have it, but Xia Fei broke this unwritten rule.

Not only did he have two abilities, both abilities were evenly trained to Star Domain rank.

One person bearing two abilities was not just a case of one plus one would equal two, but rather a case where the sum was greater than its parts.

Qin Mang had previously managed to detect a change in Xia Fei’s temperament. He thought that Xia Fei had acquired a new technique and gained a bunch of confidence from it, possessing the calmness of a true warrior, but he was only half right.

Xia Fei did indeed become stronger and was now calmer than before, but his strength was not built on the basis of new techniques but a whole new ability, instead.

Psychokinesis.

This was the biggest power behind Xia Fei; he was now an incredibly unique dual ability user.

Although he had not managed to realize both abilities to their fullest potential, he now had more resources against a stronger foe.

Battle experience from countless near-death encounters.

The horrifying combination of two abilities.

All these allowed Xia Fei to possess an incredible confidence and calmness.

Xia Fei spoke calmly as he pointed Celestial Moon at Pang Hai. “I’m meeting Avril no matter what, and nobody can stop me.”

Aura.

Incredible aura.

An unstoppable aura emanated from Xia Fei.

The rage was still brewing within Xia Fei. There was no question that anyone who got in his way would be blown into smithereens sans mercy.

Pang Hai’s surprise could be seen on his face, for he was truly utterly shocked by Xia Fei’s aura. However, he quickly managed to regain his composure.

Psychokinesis was one of the countless abilities that humans possessed. Xia Fei’s newly acquired ability could be used for manipulation, allowing him to control anything he wanted with his second ability as long as the item’s weight and volume was what he could manage.

In truth, even Xia Fei himself did not know that he had been training his mental powers since he started cultivating the Beast Spirit Codex. Beast Spirit Codex was not just an ability that allowed for control of beasts but also a cultivation handbook. Not only would its learners eventually be able to communicate with beasts, but they could also develop a new mental ability through it.

It was only after all the bloodshed on Heritage Planet that his ability to manipulate had been fully realized, and from then on, Xia Fei had become an actual psychokinesis ability user.

Xia Fei picked Celestial Moon as his new weapon for it was made with a material called Crowe alloy. Crowe alloy resonated with human brainwaves, making it suitable to be controlled using mental energy.

“This is Sunset Villa. Do you know what happens when you trespass here?” Pang Hai showed great manners as he spoke with a smile.

“I don’t know, nor do I want to know.”

“You and the mistress are completely different people living in different worlds,” Pang Hai said deeply.

Xia Fei had heard the same phrase so many times recently that he had gotten sick of it by then. It was as if everyone thought that he would use Avril for her money.

“I know,” Xia Fei replied with furrowed eyebrows.

“Yet you’re still insisting on meeting the young mistress.”

“I’m not looking for your young mistress; I’m looking for Avril.”

“Avril is the young mistress, and the young mistress is Avril.”

“I know.”

“You know?”

Xia Fei asked back with a dry laugh, “What are you trying to say?”

“I hope that you’ll stop harassing the young mistress,” said Pang Hai after a few moments.

“Harass?” Xia Fei curled the corner of his lips. “Avril will be the judge whether I’m harassing her or not; you guys just need to stay out of it.”

After saying that, Xia Fei continued up the mountain.

He did not run this time, instead walking up the steps slowly and purposefully, as though nothing else in Sunset Villa could stop him.

Those guards who had retreated down the mountain as well as those guarding the peak and the halfway point, started gathering.

They had weapons in their hands as they stared at XIa Fei from afar.

Xia Fei did not say a word as he got surrounded. His face was stoic and his footsteps were just as resolute as before.

“Get him!”

Who knew who yelled that command, but the guards quickly charged toward Xia Fei with their weapons raised, hoping that they could take down Xia Fei through sheer numbers alone.

Pang Hai shook his head and let out a dry laugh. He walked toward the peak behind Xia Fei with no intent of stopping the guards or Xia Fei.

Not long after, the first seven or eight guards who had led the charge fell onto the ground under excruciating pain. Xia Fei was quite measured with his attacks, disabling their ability to fight but not to the point of incapacitating them for life.

The remaining guards quickly retreated, taking one step back each time Xia Fei took a step forward.

Xia Fei, who was presently like an enraged beast, had his bloodshot eyes wide open as he struck fear into the surrounding people’s hearts with his cold, emotionless face.

“Mr. Pang, what should we do?”

“Yes, Mr. Pang, we need to stop him; the master is going to be angry otherwise.”

“Mr. Pang, come up with something!”

The guards all turned to Pang Hai for help, but the elderly butler did not respond to any of their pleas as though he had gone deaf.

It was a weird scene. Hundreds of people had Xia Fei surrounded, yet nobody dared to make a move, allowing him to walk freely around Sunset Villa with no one to oppose it.

Meanwhile, Xia Fei had a’ look on his face that seemed to declare ‘I would do what I want’. He was not going to listen to any voice of reason anymore. He was as stubborn as a mule, doing whatever his heart desired.

Suddenly—

Xia Fei was shocked.

His superhuman perception picked up a dangerous aura; it was as if something odd was happening at the peak of Half Moon Mountain.

“There’s a violent aura.”

At this moment, almost all the guards had him surrounded, meaning that the defense on the peak had become the weakest. This was the best chance for someone to pull something sneaky.

“Avril!”

Without missing a beat, Xia Fei stomped his feet into the ground and traveled to the peak as fast as he could.

“Get out of my way!”

With only Avril in mind, he did not care about showing mercy anymore.

With a sweep using Celestial Moon, the dozens of guards who were blocking his way got raked away.

At this moment, Pang Hai also sensed that there was something wrong at the peak and quickly followed behind Xia Fei.

“Get to the peak; hurry!” yelled Pang Hai.

Everyone was shocked. Why did Pang Hai and Xia Fei become like two peas in a pod in the blink of an eye, both saying the same thing?

All of them were clueless and incredibly confused as they followed Xia Fei and Pang Hai and rushed up to the peak.

*Whoosh!*

At full speed, Xia Fei could travel over 3000m/s, reaching the peak in two seconds.

The peak of Half Moon Mountain had been flattened long ago. The floor was paved neatly with stone slabs and three majestic buildings stood there in a row. The one in the middle was five stories high, and the ones next to it were four stories high. In addition to the rocks, trees, and shrubs, there was a flat spot at the side of them to park small spacecraft.

Before he even regained his balance, Xia Fei felt numbness in his scalp. There were a few guards lying on the ground with cuts in their necks. Blood was still gushing out of their wounds, and it appeared that they had died not too long ago.

“Crap—an ambush!” exclaimed Xia Fei quickly.

Phantom kneeled on the ground to examine one guard’s fatal wound. “Not good! Phoenix Tail Feathers. Was this done by the Plumagers?

“Anyway, there’s no time to explain. Plumager is a professional hitman organization just like the Assassins. We must find them as soon as we can,” Phantom said in a deep voice.

Xia Fei nodded, retracting Celestial Moon to three sections long before using Breath Control to sneak to the largest building. His instincts were telling him that the enemies had most likely gone inside it.

Without the protection of the combat suit, Xia Fei felt pain on his body when he came dashing over at high speeds. Luckily, he was much more resilient than before as Heritage Planet had brought him plenty of new techniques and experience in the year he spent there, and traveling at supersonic speeds without his combat suit was just one of them. However, it was unavoidable that traveling at these extreme speeds would cause some damage to his body.

Suddenly—

The doors to the building opened. Out came four men in black; all of them wielding weird weapons in hand.

The weapons were like a spurt of flame, all of irregular shapes, their violent blades gleaming in dazzling silver.

One of the men in black carried a rolled up quilt on his shoulder with someone seemingly bundled inside.

Just as they were leaving the door, Xia Fei charged in. Both sides noticed each other.

With less than a few dozen meters of distance, it left Xia Fei 0.0001 second to react.

The four men in black seemed to have tacit understanding as they split into two groups at once. The man in black who was carrying the rolled-up quilt on his shoulder, retreated inside, whereas the other three charged at Xia Fei.

From their looks, Xia Fei could tell that these people also had skills similar to Breath Control, able to make their aura be as undetectable as possible. However, their technique was not as good as Breath Control, so they could not completely hide their killing intent.

It was evident that these were professional killers.

“Release!” Xia Fei yelled, and fifteen disc blades rolled out, heading straight toward the three men in black in fifteen distinct, beautiful arcs. The blades were just like hurricanes, cutting off all their chances of escaping.

Only

*Whoosh.*

In an instant before anyone could notice, Xia Fei made it past the three men in black, leaving behind three bodies.

Xia Fei killed one of them by hand, and the other two were killed using his psychokinesis.

When the man in black inside the building saw his subordinates get killed, he let out a cold snort and hopped out of the building toward the mountain. At the same time, he pressed a tiny device on his arm as if to send a signal somewhere.

It should be made known that behind this building was an incredibly sheer drop; anyone who fell from it would meet certain death.

Xia Fei did not even have time to hesitate as he followed him down to the valley.

Although he did not know if the person being carried by the man was Avril, Xia Fei would never give up even a one-in-ten-thousand chance.
