Fang Lin felt a slight loss of balance as the location drastically changed. One moment he was at a wide courtyard, the next moment he was in an enclosed building. With his constitution, he was able to regain his bearings after a moment’s rest. He then gawked at the 3 paintings that hung the walls of the building they were in.

Fang Lin then realized a common topic on the paintings. On one painting, what he saw was white-robed immortals soaring through the clouds while countless people worshipped them from below. The other painting showed an immortal ascending to leave the planet, with the immortal’s back having a golden glow. Just like the first painting, there were people worshipping the immortal from below.

The third and last painting showed the most eerie imagery to Fang Lin. The painting showed a person wearing Daoist robes sitting on a golden throne. The daoist also wore a golden crown studded with countless jewels. He held a white sceptre on his left hand while his right hand pointed below him.

And just like the other two paintings, countless worshippers were below the golden throne.

Everyone in the building gulped audibly as they realized the message of the paintings.

“The Immortals have become Gods….”

……..

Fang Yu felt that something was wrong with the planet that she and Tang Li landed in. It may be just instincts telling her, but something feels… off.

Even with her suppressing her energy, she can still use her divine sense to look around. What made her confused was that she detected to signs of human life around her. According to Andromeda, there were around 13 billion humans on this planet.

With that amount, some of them should have been detected by Fang Yu already.

“Hey Andrewmeda, I think something’s wrong here.” Fang Yu called out to Andromeda. Fang Yu received no reply from her. “Hey! Why aren’t you answering?” Fang Yu was about to storm to Andromeda when she saw Andromeda’s body dissipating into a mist.

Upon seeing this, Fang Yu realized that the Andromeda that she was talking with earlier was actually just a fake!

“S**t!” When did the real Andromed got swapped with the fake one?” Fang Yu knew that the Andromeda that Fang Yu talked with at the ship was the real one. The swapping must have happened when they entered the planet’s atmosphere.

“Fudge! So am I trapped now?” Fang Yu looked around her, realizing that her surroundings also changed. Instead of the wide land that she was in earlier, she was in an extremely large room that was covered with white walls.

This room was empty, only filled with a white mist.

“Am I in different place now?” Fang Yu thought to herself as she coated her whole body with mana. Whatever happened that brought her here must not be an accident. It was intentional and the one that did it surely had the strength to damage Fang Yu. Fang Yu of course would not want to be defenseless now. Fang Yu had to make sure she’s well-protected at situations like this.

Suddenly, her eyes glowed as he realized something.

“If I am in a different place, then that means I can use my full power!” If the place that Fang Yu was in right now was a different place, she had no problems using her power. If however, her theory was wrong, she will still exceed the suit’s limits that will forcefully get her ejected from the planet, away from her kidnapper. Using her full power will still give her good results no matter where she is.

Mana swirled around her as she prepared her spells. She sighed in relief when she felt no expulsion forcing her out. She then looked at the value of her current mana conversion. After all, higher mana conversion means higher power for a practitioner.

She clicked her tongue when she saw that it was only 16%, meaning that her 6 months of meditation changed her mana conversion from 15% to 16%.

Even with her Godly Divine Beast Bloodline, she was only able to improve her mana conversion by 1%! That means that if she continues this trend, it will take her around 42 years and 6 months to reach 100% conversion!

“I must find a way to improve my conversion quickly!” Fang Yu thought as she prepared the spells that she had on her consciousness.

Due to the uniqueness of her breakthrough, Fang Yu was still not able to access her core spell on her consciousness. This core spell was created at the moment she accepted the Law of Duality. But due to its profoundness, she still had no way to use it. She can only wait until her insights were high enough in order to use it.

But even if she cannot use her core spell, this core spell still put a foundation on her consciousness to allow Fang Yu to imprint spells related to Duality.

Due to the nature of her insights, she can only use spells related to duality like life-death or ice-fire.

With Wang Hao supplying some spell scrolls to Fang Lin, Fang Yu was able to learn an assortment of spells that she can use.

The spells that a Mana Materialization Practitioner can use can be divided into ten ranks, with the first one the weakest and the last rank as the strongest. Each rank had a name that aptly describes their power:

-Basic

-Advanced

-Expert

-Legendary

-Ancestral

– Phantasmal

– Exalted

– Divine

– Heavenly

-Apocalypse

The spells that can be learnt by a practitioner depends on their law grade, while the one they can use depends on their mana conversion. With her Earth Grade Law Insight, Fang Yu was able to learn Legendary Rank Duality Spells.

But due to her low mana conversion, she can only use a Legendary Rank Spell around 3 times. As such, she can only rely of the first three ranks of spells on her combat. Legendary Rank spells and the Dual Marks will be her trump card for the moment.

Since she was covered by mist, Fang Yu decided to illuminate her path.

“Dark Light!”

All the light around Fang Yu’s left hand disappeared as they were sucked by her left hand. This made her left hand appear as a mini black hole. All this absorbed light was released as a light beam on her right hand. Fang Yu focused this light beam in front of her, just to see what was on her path.

Dark Light was a Basic Ranked Spell that utilized the ability to create darkness by absorbing light and creating light by releasing the absorbed light. This spell usually can only be used by those with mastery on the light and dark dao. But Fang Yu’s Duality Godly Divine Beast Bloodline allowed her to learn this spell easily.

Because it was a Basic Ranked Spell, the Dark Light had no offensive purposes. Its goal was to guide a practitioner on places that needs an instant illumination.

Fang Yu clicked her teeth when she realized that her light beam only passed on more and more mist.

It was now clear to her that she had to venture blindly. Even her divine sense seems to be restricted by the mist.

Fang Yu put Tang Li on her storage as she slowly inched forward. Moving slowly forward was better than not moving at all.

“!!!!” Alarm bells rang on Fang Yu’s mind as she felt a dangerous presence approaching her from her right side. Even though she felt the threat of death from this presence, Fang Yu knew that she had no choice but to fight.

Fire and Ice Serpents circled her body as she faced the incoming attacker. She gave a fearless grin as she said,

“Come on!”
