The Conquerors Path
chapter-771

The pressure of the other 'Austin' started to pile up, 'Austin' having the advantage in this present situation as the other Austin was being forced to the ground, the world seemingly turning to be his enemy. In contrast, the chance of achieving anything started to dwindle down; the pressure only kept doubling as the other 'Austin' looked down on everything. "Once I get full control, I will make sure to drive those women to their limits, break them and recreate them to my liking; it won't be hard seeing how much in love they are with you."

There was a swirling darkness in his voice as he spoke of this, a desire that could not be stopped as he said this, while this Austin started to be covered with the madness of the other 'Austin,' no way forward could be seen since this 'Austin' has been saving his mental health for a long time, waiting for the right moment to strike.

"You will only destroy what we have right now, just like how you had destroyed something beautiful that was blooming beautifully for us, taking away our life with it."

The words Austin spoke did a hit, a hit powerful enough to rattle the darkness for a moment, seeing this, Austin, who was on his knees, slowly started to regain his balance as he kneeled, his eyes finding toward the other 'Austin' who had an ugly expression on his face as Austin spoke.

"You know it better than anyone, we died because of you, because of your arrogance that you could control them, your god complex that you could do anything thats why we died, we died because of your stupidity!"

Austin's shout filled the whole place, shaking the darkness. The winning mental battle fell into the hands of shaking as the situation took a small turn, and Austin's eyes now had a firmer resolve as Austin spoke.

"We are not gods, we aren't even fully qualified to understand the minds of people around us, and you thought you could, which led you to mess with those people within the underworld, controlling their minds. And where did it get us? DEAD!"

The world trembled at that, for the truth was held in it. The true 'Austin' had his arrogance that he could control anything and everything around him, which wasn't the truth at all, for he had died at the hands of the very ones that he had tried to control, killed at point-blank and now they were here, just due to that arrogance.

They had to leave behind their parents and their loving brother all because 'Austin' couldn't keep himself in control, and that was the truth, not everything was in his control, and no matter how much he tried to spin things, he would never reach that situation where he will be able to control all their actions or thoughts.

"People are mixed, everyone is born unique, and their actions can never all the time be fully predicted or controlled, there will be situations where they break from characters you understand or control and that's why we died, or are you dumb enough to not even allow that?!"

His shout shook the mental world, Austin gained some more control as he was finally able to stand on his own, the two of them facing each other with sparks running around, 'Austin's' gaze felt a bit lost, for there held several truths in the words of Austin, which meant that he no longer had a lead on the situation.

A stifling silence fell into the mental world, the two fighting against each other, with 'Austin' still having the lead, yet his mental stance was not as powerful as before, he was being taken advantage of by Austin.

"For all your gifts you call godly, you refuse to accept the fact that we are human! We aren't omniscient or omnipresent, we are just humans, thus, we will never be able to stop everything from proceeding as it should proceed!"

His shout made 'Austin' take a step back, 'Austin's' gaze flashing with a certain drive as he started to take deep breaths, his gaze turning rigid, the madness within him sprouting out even more as 'Austin' held his heart, his eyes gazing at Austin as he spoke.

"You are right. I failed back then, which led to our deaths, but it's also due to us gaining the emotions we should have never got back! The fault is mine and yours! A miscalculation that is why this time I can't allow for you to even exist!"

A loud shout that shook the mental space took place, Austin took a step back while the darkness started to press down on him harder, bringing him to his knees as Austin started to speak.

"Urgh!...you are wrong! The majority of what's happening is still your fault!"

That only had a small effect, as 'Austin' replied.

"That doesn't matter at all, as you said, I am human, and as a human, I will learn from my mistakes and grow, this time I will bend those bitches to my will and turn them into the perfect puppets, this time, I won't be making any mistakes! Especially when you aren't with me at all!"

With that shout, the power started to press down on him, the darkness starting to slowly invade Austin's body and start to corrupt his mind, trying to join this Austin within to the other 'Austin,' with 'Austin' having full control over how things would go, the situation taking for a major change that cannot be dealt with.

The dark, hollow thoughts that don't make him human started to spread through his mind of Austin, trying to take over him, trying to change him, ideas which would make his conquest easier for him flowing within his mind, but every one of them came with either hurting and controlling fully the girls around him.

He knows their darkness, and the darkness within him was whispering into his ears to use their darkness to his advantage, to make them submit to him, to break them and fix them together in ways they cannot be fully fixed, ways to make those girls into his full-time puppets flashing here and there within the depth of his mind.

The form of Austin started to get lighter, and his mind started to get lighter, seemingly the integration going better, pushing forth all the right buttons, but as this kept happening, a thought kept flowing through his mind, a thought that brought chills to Austin's mind.

'Why does this feel a lot like corruption?'

Austin asked himself, the situation of his hollow self, that madness that haunted him his whole life, feeling more similar to the corruption that fills this world, the corruption that he is able to deal with and fully remove from himself, lots of questions arose within Austin's mind at that situation but as they did the call of the one sounded out.

[So you finally got the clue?]

The voice of the system sounded more humane and alive than ever, and with that, the ability that Austin was trying so desperately to allow into his body activated, the blue gentle light of the ocean started to surround him within the darkness and, along with it came the power to fight against it, 'Austin' who kept smiling at the situation that was unfolding paused.

The smirk that had lost his face turned impassive as the gentle blue light started to turn everything upside down, the power level that was being held broken, with Austin finally standing on the water, the black darkness that had surrounded the place had disappeared, while the gentle blue light of the ocean surrounded the whole place, one fighting against the

corruption.

The two beautiful sides were quickly formed, one of gentle blue surrounding Austin, which covered over his side to all the back of him, while for the other 'Austin', the darkness surrounded him, clashing against the blue, but now Austin could clearly see the extreme amount of hidden red within that darkness.

Him with his blessing, he could see that red inkiness that he had seen corrupt a lot around him, but this red corruption energy was on a completely different level than Austin had ever seen in his life, this type of corruption reaching the level of purity he had never seen before in his life, it was as if this level of corruption was almost divine.

'Wait...divine?'

A certain chill passed through the back of Austin as that thought filled his mind, and no true thoughts can be hidden from each other within this domain as a chilling smile started to fill the face of 'Austin,' his gaze holding nothing but darkness as he spoke.

"So you have finally started to figure it out?"

The words confirmed some of the doubts that had been plaguing the mind of Austin, whose expression didn't look good at all as he spoke.

"The game was a relief, it was supposed to get rid of the corruption that had taken full hold of me, and when t was almost succeeding, I died, didn't I?"

His question was present to especially no one as Austin continued.

"And coincidentally, as I reached this place, the boost of power went to you, to the corruption

to take hold, isn't it? As if my death was meant to stop me from being fully humane, as if my

death was meant to help the corruption..."

'Austin' didn't reply to it, but his silence spoke much more.
