Yaksha was silent. The smile on his face melted quietly like the ice and snow in spring. He dared not look straight into Shen Yanxiao's insightful eyes, so he turned his head away.

Shen Yanxiao sighed, "The root of all the grievances in your heart is the thought that the Lord God has abandoned you, and so you act wilfully, thinking that as long as you rebel using the undead, the Lord God will be forced to come out; unfortunately... He's missing."

Yaksha remained silent, the hands hanging on his sides clenched into fists.

But his silence confirmed Shen Yanxiao's speculation.

Earlier, Shen Yanxiao thought it was strange. Yaksha's strength should be about the same or even higher than that of the Dragon God, but when Xiu attacked him, he did not display any resistance at all. Rather, he even held a twisted smile on his face and a hint of hope and expectation of finally getting freed.

Xiu was very powerful. Shen Yanxiao had seen the image of Xiu beating the Dragon God unilaterally, where he had almost no room to fight back. But this did not mean that there was no possibility of even struggling.

The moment Xiu grabbed him, Yaksha even removed the death energy around him, allowing the divine aura of the room to cause countless wounds on his skin.

This was clearly an action of seeking death.

His previous furious roar was just to vent his resentment over the years and to stimulate Xiu to kill him.

Shen Yanxiao suddenly felt that Yaksha was just like the race of the undead, created by the Lord God and abandoned. Just like a child that was expecting his parents to guide him to grow up. But in a twinkling of an eye, he found that not only had his parents abandon him, but they even wanted to kill him.

Such a revelation was indeed unacceptable to anyone.

"He shouldn't have lied to me." Yaksha squeezed the six words out of his gritted teeth. A short six-word sentence, but it completely revealed his sadness.

"I can be an undead, I can give up the identity of a god, but... but why did he abandon me in the end? Since he isn’t willing to accept the Undead, why would he have me come here? Why give me hope, and then let me despair! " Yaksha's two eyes were bloodshot; he punched the floor underneath him.

Blood flowed out of the back of his hand and dripped on the cold ground, just like the glimmer of hope in his heart; little by little, all that remained was resentment and despair.

"The Lord God did not abandon the undead... He didn't. Many times, other superior gods put forward the idea of eradicating the Undead, but Lord God had always come forward to prevent it. It’s just that, the resurrection of the dead is really too evil!” The Dragon God looked at Yaksha with a complicated look. He felt that Yaksha was both hateful and pitiful at the same time.

"Where did the Lord God go in the end?" Yaksha looked up and asked.

"I don't know... No one knows where he went." The Dragon God answered honestly. The disappearance of the Lord God was the greatest mystery in the world.

"I've been a god for a short time, I like to cause trouble and was often beaten up by the War God. The Lord God told me that when he saw me like that, he missed a god named Yaksha. He didn't abandon you. Although I don't know why he stopped contacting you, you always had a place in his heart." The Dragon God tried to explain. Most of his knowledge of Yaksha came from the Lord God.

Yaksha was stunned, and a hint of surprise appeared on his wan face.

He still remembered that when he was still in the God Race, he often compared notes with Di Xiu, and the Lord God always broke into laughter whenever he saw it.
