The Great Thief
chapter-1508-30041322

The other Paladins didn’t have a pleasant expression on their faces; no one wanted to give up such a powerful item.

However, no one had a lot of DKP, so what could they do?

Lu Li didn’t have anything positive to say. Actually, he was a bit worried – this Skill Book had already gotten everyone into an argument. What would they do if they found Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood?

They needed to know that the saying “When there is AL, there are no more brothers” was not just a joke.

This Legendary two-handed sword not only ruined friendships, but its qualities were even more amazing. One of its special features was that when in use, it could attack twice. Although it was strangely heart-warming to see it activate, it was still undeniable that it was a rare Legendary weapon that could kill players in seconds.

Needless to say, if someone took out this sword to sell, they would be an instant millionaire.

A team leader would just directly hide the fact about the sword dropping.

They would sell it and instantly be rich; who would care about having a bad reputation?

Sometimes, even if the team leader didn’t act so covertly, they would still favour some members of the team over the others. If two Paladins had a need for an item, then why not give it to someone who you had a better relationship with? If someone who didn’t get the equipment disagreed, then what could they do? At the very worst, they would just leave the group. As long as the team had enough manpower to get through Blackwing’s Nest, they would be bound to come across a Paladin.

Those who had more DKP looked very excited. This time, basically no one bid for Gold or Dark Gold armor.

Either they would just distribute it, or place it in the guild storage.

Lu Li didn’t care about auctioning, and if they took the items to the guild’s storehouse, many members would want them. These days, Dark Gold armor wasn’t in high demand, not because it was bad, but because it was more expensive.

Actually, Gold armour was more than adequate, especially if it was produced from a level 60, Nightmare difficulty Instance Dungeon.

Equipment from the Blackrock Spire on Elite difficulty was currently in high demand..

The elite groups of the major guilds usually wanted to attempt Nightmare difficulty, but ordinary players had no ability to play on such a level. They usually played on Heroic difficulty. When lifestyle players occasionally tried out an Instance Dungeon, they would play on Elite difficulty.

Ashjre’thul, Crossbow of Smiting!

Finally, the Epic equipment started to be dropped. The first was a high-level weapon that was a little unexpected to Lu Li.

In Draconic, Ashjre’thul meant Crossbow of Smiting.

It represented the strictness of a father, as well as the hopes of the future for the child.

Following the retreat of the Wings of Death, the son took over his father’s business. His eldest son ascended to the throne and was the leader of all the Dragonflight clan. The father, unmatched in adoration, had become an obstruction to him taking full power. Without being aware of it, Nefarian had begun to clear away the traces that his father had left in his life.

He gave Ashjre’thul, Crossbow of Smiting, as a reward to Chromaggus, the Dragon he created himself.

Out of all the Hunters’ level 60 equipment, this crossbow was ranked number five. In Blackwing’s Nest, which they still had not completed, this crossbow would undoubtedly be the best weapon for a Hunter.

“Hunters, you bid between yourselves, don’t worry about the other roles.”

Actually, it wasn’t just Hunters who could use crossbows; Thieves and Warriors could also carry one. However, given the level of the Crossbow of Smiting, it was simply a waste to equip a Warrior with it. It would be much more useful in the hands of a Hunter.

“I really want it,” Azure Sea Breeze said, with a tone of uneasiness, as he retracted his bidding claws.

This Crossbow wouldn’t only increase his attributes, but he would able increase his damage output too. When using the Taunt skill, attacking strength was actually also a part of keeping Aggro stable.

The three Hunters looked at each other, unsure of what to do. In the end though, they didn’t end up giving up the opportunity to bid.

Regardless of how good their weapons were, having the Crossbow of Smiting would still increase their strength by a lot. Furthermore, Remnant Dream, who up to now hadn’t really been that enthusiastic about equipment, still preferred to use Crossbows. Right now, she was equipped with a rifle, but to her, it just wasn’t enough.

The three Hunters bid, one following the other. In no time at all, they brought up the points of this weapon to over 100.

The other two hunters didn’t want to bully a young girl, so in the end, Remnant Dream received a new weapon. However, she had paid a handsome price, and would likely not be able to auction for future items.

The rifle that she originally had was offered to the other players. It was a powerful Epic item, better than that of both the other Hunters.

As the saying went, “Comparing yourself to others will only make you suffer.’

This discarded equipment wasn’t gifted freely. Under normal circumstances, if there was a lot of demand, they would bid for it and take it. In the end, the points would be given to Remnant Dream, but usually, you couldn’t gain many points from this sort of discarded equipment.

If only one person wanted it, it would cost a third of the points of the new equipment.

Netherwind Mantle – this was a Mage T2 Shoulder, and was especially useful in PVP.

The last item was another piece of equipment – an Elementium Reinforced Bulwark!

When Lu Li saw this piece of equipment, he immediately let out breath. This Boss turned out to be rather rich after all; it definitely wasn’t a waste of time to attempt this Instance Dungeon.

If the First Clear on Nightmare difficulty only gave out a Crossbow of Smiting, then it would really just be a trap. However, with the Elementium Reinforced Bulwark, things were different. This was a really famous shield.

Shields were dropped rarely in Instance Dungeons, but they were extremely valuable. The Shiled was the symbol of the Main Tank, protecting the whole team.

A point-by-point commentary of a guild’s Instance Dungeon run would often mention what shield the Main Tank held.

If you were holding an Elementium Reinforced Bulwark, under normal circumstances, people would think you participated in the battle against Chromaggus and attained victory.

If you had bought an Elementium Reinforced Bulwark, then others could only say you were filthy rich.

“This shield is Breezy’s. No one else has much to say, right? 150 points would be good.”

Lu Li didn’t let this piece of equipment enter the action, and just directly decided who it should belong to.

Everyone else’s expressions remained calm. Even Peerless City and Drizzle Court didn’t object.

In a First Clear team, this sort of tactical equipment like the Elementium Reinforced Bulwark certainly couldn’t be considered as a normal piece of equipment that anyone could bid for. However, Lu Li wasn’t overdoing it either – he directly took off 150 DKP from Azure Sea Breeze. When Remnant Dream purchased the Crossbow of Smiting, it was around this price too.

There were very few pieces of equipment worth over 200 points, with the exception of Water Fairy’s robe.

At this point, Nefarian was the only one left in Blackwing’s Nest.
