Chapter 1822: Plate Armor Brothers

It wasn’t just those 3 clubs. Actually, most of the Alliance players met with the same situation.

This also included those clubs that Ruling Sword was very close with. Those Horde players killed whoever they saw. As long as they were an Alliance player, they were a target. In an extremely short amount of time, thousands of players were slaughtered.

The forums called this the beginning of the ‘Citadel War’.

To begin with, all was peaceful. Everyone was willing to fight together to resist the Burning Legion. It was a shame that this only lasted a short we hile at thStair of Destiny. When the center of everyone’s

activity shifted to Honor Hold and Thrallmar, clashes were unavoidable.

By the time the three Instance Dungeons of Hellfire Citadel had been opened up, a large, shapeless hand had ignited the flames of war.

The Alliance wasn’t a pushover either. If someone attacked them, they would fight back. If you were talking about looking at the big picture, first, they had to face the fury of their own people. For those players who had been killed and had lost their EXP and equipment, their fury could only be pacified with the blood.

“Our team farming the Dungeon’s been killed,” Wandering reported.

“Go loot the equipment. Quickly, Dreamy, we’ve got to fight straight away,” Lu Li urged.

“Huh, fight right away?”

Wandering was taken by surprise. According to his understanding of Lu Li, he would usually have everyone hold back a little, farming the Instance Dungeon a few times first to find some equipment.

“What else? When we should push on, we should push on. We don’t have to care about the big picture, besides, we’ve already got the First Clear of the Instance Dungeon,” Lu Li said matter-of-factly.

Since Lu Li had spoken like this, the others naturally had no need to oppose.

As for those the PVP fanatics like Moonlight, Fat Monkey and Her Tears, they had been ready and rearing to jump into that mess of a battle.

“But I have you remind you that this time, I suspect it’s Sorrowless and those people who are stirring up trouble,” Wandering said.

Wandering was the only one who wasn’t interested in the war between the camps. At this stage, even Remnant Dream and Hachi Chan were enthusiastically joining in.

“It’d be strange if they didn’t try to stir up trouble, but Sorrowless wouldn’t do something like this,” Lu Li reasoned.

None of the First Clears of the three Instance Dungeons were theirs. All of them had been taken by the Alliance. As long as there was just a slight provocation, the Horde players would become hot-headed and angry right away.

However, Lu Li also certainly didn’t believe that Sorrowless would do something like that. If he was able to, then it was either because of a sinister follower like White Westhill, an easily angered Blood Dagger, or simply them two working together.

“So you’re not afraid of them reaping the benefits like this without lifting a finger?”

“There are no benefits for them to take. Since it’s a war between the camps, no one’s unaffected by this.”

Lu Li stuffed Strengthening Stones into his own backpack, taking out his Hearthstone to read from it. No Epic equipment had dropped from this Instance Dungeon, which was completely as expected.

“Where are we going to fight?” Azure Sea Breeze asked. He couldn’t wait to get started.

“We’re going to fight, not you. Follow Hachi and go level up. Dreamy too – it would be best if you could reach level 63 quickly, otherwise, you’ll be off the team. The others who want to keep joining for First Clearing in the next Instance Dungeon better go level up too,” Lu Li said.

“Why don’t you go level up?” Azure Sea Breeze wasn’t pleased at all.

“My level’s high.”

Lu Li could be proud of this at least. His EXP was more than halfway to level 63, and he would at least be faster to level up than Azure Sea Breeze.

Lu Li got closer to Hellfire Citadel from the outside. There were corpses all over the place here, and after the corpses disappeared, they turned to gravestones.

The war was still continuing, and it was growing even more intense.

Lu Li didn’t hide himself. Two Horde players seemed to think he would be a good target, and ran right over to him.

One was a Paladin, and the other was a Warrior. Two Plate-Armored guys were bullying a poor Cloth-Armored Thief. No matter how you looked at it, nothing unexpected would happen, unless that damn Thief escaped right away.

Lu Li had face, so he didn’t run and instead turned to face them nonchalantly.

Dawn was a game that strove for equality. Every role had their own positions, and until this time, those who were able to get into the Outland weren’t noob players at all.

However, what Lu Li needed was this sort of pressure. If his opponent was just one person, and an ordinary player at that, he wouldn’t necessarily attack them. After all, everyone these days was someone noteworthy.

Block, attack, block, blind, retreat, evade…

The two Horde players realized something very quickly as they were dazzled by the sight of Lu Li’s counterattacks. The opponent they had chosen wasn’t a weak one, and they weren’t crazy, either.

However, this didn’t make them shrink back. This was a game, and at the very worst, they would just die and revive.

What these PVP fanatics were most brave about was death.

“Haha, it’s a big fish. Bro, do you dare to report this guy?” the Warrior asked with a laugh.

“No,” Lu Li replied dully, keeping face. The dagger cut across the Paladin’s waist, drawing a line of blood.

The Paladin’s face turned white. Revolving and jumping, he exhaustedly escaped from Lu Li’s zone of attack.

It was a shame that at this point, Lu Li had already decided to kill him. Of course, he wouldn’t have let him escape like this. He activated his equipment’s special effects as he got his whole body geared up for a twisting attack, following the Paladin’s movements.

“It’s a big thief! Unlucky, I’m gonna go first!” the Warrior shouted loudly, planning to flee right away.

Those who enjoyed PVP had some special terminology for high-level players, like big thief, big mage and so on.

To be called a ‘big thief’, you had to be at least in the top 100 of your role.

This seemed like a lot of players, but if you considered that Dawn had broken through the 100-million player number ages ago, this ranking was something to be proud of.

“Damn, what did I do to deserve a bro like you?! The worst thing that can happen is we die, and if we do actually win, we can boast about it,” the Paladin said as he worked hard to resist, using all different sorts of skills. After all, he didn’t want to die.

“Fight!”

After giving it a moment’s thought, the Warrior came to his senses. Right at that moment, he charged at Lu Li.

Lu Li turned slightly. His whole body was hiding behind the Paladin, so of course, he wouldn’t be charged at by the Warrior. He didn’t stop his actions with his hands, launching high damage attacks, one after the other, at the Paladin’s body.

However, most of the Paladin’s attacks were blocked by Lu Li.

Was this damn bastard still a thief? The Paladin was cursing from his mouth. He needed to retreat, otherwise, he would be finished off right away. Now, the only hope was his Warrior partner.

Unfortunately, when he turned his head, all he saw was his back as he quickly ran away.

“Don’t you worry – I’m definitely gonna get my revenge for you.”
