The Great Thief
chapter-781

She was destined to be disappointed; no one could expect to pull a legendary item from a weak boss like this.

"A silver grade," Remnant Dream said as she frowned and tossed the equipment to Azure Sea Breeze in disgust. Usually, these items were handed to team leaders to sell, and the money would be distributed. However, Lu Li didn't bother with these administrative business, so Azure Sea Breeze was in charge instead.

"Getting picky there – some other players can't even manage to find themselves a whole set of Silver equipment," Azure Sea Breeze chided. He wasn't sure if he should be crying or laughing.

Remnant Dream had spent too much time with Lu Li and barely had to worry about her equipment. Even other professional Hunter competitors might not be as well-equipped as she was.

Remnant Dream always had lucky hands. Half of her current equips were Gold grade and a few of them were Dark Gold grade. The rest were Silver grade and had extremely good attributes.

"Let's go; we'll quickly kill the other bosses too," Lu Li said, urgingeveryone to stop wasting time.

This wasn't a popular dungeon and the scrolls for this dungeon wasn't valuable in auctions either.

The Temple of Hakkar had many small monsters that refreshed quickly. If these monsters gave high experience, then it wouldn't be too bad, but they were quite average.

The six bosses on the top floor were particularly weak; many who entered the dungeon weren't impressed by them at all.

Including the monsters in the main hall and the six bosses on this top-top floor, it would take around two or three hours for them to clear their way to Jammal'an the Prophet.

When they came before the fifty boss, Zolo, Lu Li quickly stopped Azure Sea Breeze.

The other bosses were trash, but Zolo was one of the rare exceptions.

It didn't have any strong attributes, but could summon Skeletons. Teams would often unexpectedly stumble here, due to a false sense of confidence built up by the previous Bosses.

"What, is this boss hard?" Azure Sea Breeze asked.

"Your damage reduction is still on cooldown. What's the rush? This Boss is way bigger than the other ones; I have a suspicion that it's not as weak. Everyone, stay on guard," Lu Li said. He could simply tell them that this boss summoned skeletons, but he could find other reasons.

When Zolo dropped to about 60% health, it began to wave its staff and waves of Skeletons were summoned. These monsters were all level 45 and were average with low Attributes, but they came in a swarm.

"Pay attention to the red circles under your feet; don't stand in them. Breeze, pull the boss into the circle." Lu Li instructed.

All of the summoned monsters were near the boss. Before they were summoned, a red circle would appear on the ground. The player that stood in the red circle would receive all the aggro. An experienced commander would be able to deduce this, so Lu Li's orders didn't seem too strange.

If players could dodge the circles, the only difficult part to deal with would be the sheer sum of these monsters.

In the bat of an eye, their numbers continued to grow.

"My ****, what now? Lu Li, say something!" Azure Sea Breeze shouted. Even if he had been instructed to step in the circles, he still couldn't get past all these Skeletons.

"Everyone else, stay in the corner. Breeze, go block them from the outside. Classes with AoE spells, clear the monsters," Lu Li said in a calm and collected voice.

"We can't kill them all; they'll eventually suffocate us to death…"

Azure Sea Breeze felt hopeless and the others seemed to have agreed with him. It seemed like Zolo was unstoppable.

"You're thinking too much. How can it continue to summon without mana?" Lu Li had already replaced his equipment with his Assassin Gear and was able to kill a skeleton with a few hits.

The team paid some attention and realized that the situation was like what Lu Li described. Zolo barely had any mana left since it kept summoning monsters, and in the end, it simply stopped.

There many classes with AoE spells here, so these monsters were no threat for them as long as the summoning stopped.

"Boss, you're so observant!" Drifting Rain was impressed.

Lu Li could only shyly smile and say, "Just a little more thoughtful, that's all. You guys can do the same."

Despite his reincarnation, he still worked a little harder than everyone else. It wasn't about his talent, or else he wouldn't have been so miserable in his previous life.

Zolo only dropped a Silver grade equip, but this couldn't be helped since they were on Elite mode and the Bosses were already known for their stinginess.

Besides the equip, it did drop a rare material – Skeletal Dust. This item could be used in Alchemy and would at least be worth a dozen gold coins.

The sixth boss was Hukku.

Like with Zolo, Azure Sea Breeze started the fight with care, but even until its death, the boss didn't do anything out of the ordinary.

The Temple of Hakkar was a very complex dungeon. Without Lu Li leading the way, they would be bound to make wrong turns.

After all six bosses were slain, they returned to the main hall downstairs which had had become available again.

The monsters that had previously been cleared in the main hall had now refreshed.

If a team was wiped often, this refreshing speed would be the most troublesome issue for them. Someone would have to constantly go back to clear monsters.

After the monsters in the hall were cleared, Lu Li ushered everyone into an entrance that led to Jammal'an the Prophet.

There were a few monsters along the way that came in packs of seven or eight.

The worst thing about them was that some of them could cast Fear. Azure Sea Breeze began to run around after he was Feared and would accidentally pull other monsters.

Teams could easily wipe here if they weren't careful enough.

Mu Fish was accidentally controlled when she stopped to cast a Frost Nova. She was the first one who died on the team.
