The Martial Unity
-
chapter-2412
The world watched with bated breaths as a whopping forty-six Martial Sages and nearly four hundred Martial Masters converged upon each other.
Never before in the history of the Age of Martial Art had so many powerful Martial Artists of the Upper Realms participated in a single battle. It shattered the previous record of twenty-six Sages and two hundred and ten Masters in the Sekigahara-Kandria Battle of 559AoMA of the same war.
The sheer scale of this conflict drew attention not just from every corner of East Panama but also from across the entirety of the Panama Continent. Despite the enormous distance between these nations and the war, the scale was simply too great to be ignored. So much so that every Sage-level powerhouse across human civilization issued its own statements that were quickly printed in any and all media outlets.
[The Gen Temple condemns the East Panamic Treaty Alliance for its unscrupulous deployment of Martial power. The careless and apathetic dispatch of such destructive potential so as to raze a portion of East Panama for the sake of victory in war is deemed most detestable by the fifteen Bodhisattvas of the Gen Temple…]
[The Namgun Dynasty commends the East Panamic Treaty Alliance for its decisive resolution to equalize the balance of powers…][The Adventurer's Guild mourns the squandering of Martial capital on civil conflicts and urges the participating powerhouses to redirect their efforts towards destabilizing Beast Domain.]
[The Solaris Empire warns the East Panamic Treaty Alliance of the consequences of depriving human civilization of the power to command breakthroughs.]
[The Marinaera Empire of the Phinlin Ocean decries the absence of bilateral peace negotiations.]
[The Gu celebrates the escalation of conflict across East Panama in hopes that even more powerful Martial Artists will be birthed.]
[The Esocline Federation commends the Kandrian Empire for being able to match the collective might of three Sage-level powerhouses!]
[The Tribes of Kunlun warn of the consequences of escalation.]
[The Nest of Terra offers mediation to the powerhouses of East Panama.][The Enforcement Department of the Panamic Martial Federation announces the official dispatch of the Sage Hunter in accordance with Code A5-B16 to ensure that war is conducted in adherence to section six of the Panamic Martial Convention and its directives on war.]
Ever since news of Rui's capacity to command breakthroughs had spread across human civilization, every single Sage-level powerhouse had been watching the war with rapt attention. Many of them had reached out to the Kandrian Empire in hopes of obtaining power, but any talks with the Emperor of Harmony had been limited to procuring the services needed for the breakthroughs. Emperor Rael was too shrewd to give away the golden goose.
Thus, the desire of the East Panamic Treaty Alliance to snuff out the golden goose that could potentially give rise to a new revolution in order to protect their own dominance in East Panama was slightly unpleasant to many powers.
Given the Kandrian Empire's harmonious approach to trade, they had hopes that they could get their hands on breakthroughs as well. They were less concerned by the Kandrian Empire's growing dominance, for they were too far away to be affected by it the way that the East Panamic Treaty Alliance was.
Regardless, they could not stop what was about to unfold.
The Martial forces of the two sides converged upon the Shionel Confederation. It wouldn't be too long before the forces of the two sides clashed with each other, giving rise to the single most intense conflict in all of known history.
RUMBLE…
A large group of Kandrian Martial Sages and Masters descended before the port of entry of the Shionel Confederation. Their Martial attires were as sharp as the perilous edge that each and every single one of them possessed.
An unfathomable amount of power radiated from their totality, inspiring pure and unadulterated awe from all those who beheld them.
RUMBLE…
Heaven and earth seemed all but unable to accommodate the sheer concentration of power that they collectively imposed upon the world. "Welcome to the Shionel Confederation," Guildmaster Bradt greeted them personally. "While I would love to host all of you for your services to the Shionel Confederation, I do not believe that this is the time for such pleasantries."
He was right.
"We must soon dispatch, Guildmaster," Sage Roschem spoke with a hardened tone on behalf of the entire Martial convoy. "We must dispatch hours ahead of time to put as much of a distance between the battlefield and the Shionel Confederation to ensure that the destructive potential of any conflict that may or may not occur does not reach this nation."
"I understand. Then, by all means, do what you must."
"Now then," Sage Roschem continued. "Where is the Void Princ—"
STEP
He froze.
He froze as an extraordinarily sharp aura of power swept over the entire convoy, prickling at their frayed nerves. It was like the edge of a blade was staring at them point blank in the face, threatening to cut them where they stood.
It was sharper than any of them could even begin to fathom.
The weight of the Void Prince's entire mind seemed to have converged into a singularity of single-minded focus and concentration.
If his mind had been like a bright star before, then it was a black hole now. Even when he gazed in their direction, they could tell he was not actually looking at them.
They didn't even register in his mind.
Almost as if they were unworthy.
Only one man was worthy of his honed focus and refined concentration.
In his mind, he could only see one person.
His opponent.
His target.
STEP
With each step he took, they could feel the immense power and energy in every inch of his Body from head to toe. It brimmed within the depths of his Body, almost bursting at the seams.
The darkness in his eyes was pitch black.
It greedily consumed light, roaring with boundless hunger.
In that moment, each and every single person who beheld his form became certain of a single absolute truth.
The Void Prince was stronger than he had ever been in his entire life.
The time for the fated battle drew closer.
